This build earned you both my subscription. I love the old chevy trucks and the mash-up between you two is an epic pairing worth watching to see the impact of two very different styles coming together. The sheer number of dedicated and talented people working together to build this truck brought an energy and flow to the process that made it magical to watch.
Mike Am gobsmacked, these men deliver ! In two days only the project is bullet proof solid and all the levels are perfect , that is never the case with factory levels. As we say in France : "Chapeau !"
On the DeBoss episode there was a Chevy hub cap covering the carb on the Apache when you opened the hood. If that is a 12 inch hub cap you might contact Derek Bieri (Vice Grip Garage) and send it his way? If you have all four that would be amazing but even the one would help. His LS swapped crew cab just got new wheels and tires and he needs some 12 inch hub caps. He mentioned that he hasn’t been able to find a set anywhere.
Love the mash up! Not one I expected to see. Deboss sure can get it done ,but Mike being so particular I’m impressed he was able to give up the reins for a quick turn around.
For me this is a clash of two worlds. On one side you have the ultra-precise Mike with his well thought out planning and reasoning for every decision. On the other side, you have the Deboss guys who equally plan out their builds but take a more open view of the build process and tend to "cross the bridge" when they get to it. Both finishing builds with stunning results while taking very different paths. Either way they do it I hope they get to both enjoy the end product and prove that it does not matter how you build it, when you enjoy the process you always win!
rich is a good dude. real down to earth and kind, doesn't take shit too seriously. its easy to get in your own way and fall down the "might as well..." rabbit hole. these quick down and dirty builds remind us its okay to just get shit done how ever you can sometimes.
Heh!...good suggestion for power! Love the sounds of one of those! My Brother has one out of an '80 Seagrave (I think) firetruck. It's under/behind the seats of a '43 Autocar semi truck wrecker-looking deal with full sleeper. (no such thing) it all sits on a tandem axle Chevy 2500 chassis. (again, no such thing) Oh...and it will be the cab's original O.D. with Army markings. We had to travel from Central Wisconsin, to Mid-Connecticut to grab it. LOTS of layers of paint and many lives through the years. One of those lives was pretty special but it was just too far gone to restore to original...nothing left, really, below the beltline of the cab, so the plan switched. There several huge nods to its original purpose, though!
I was wondering what happened to this thing, glad it's going to a good home. This (and their) episode really helps shine a light on just how much having a team of guys helps progress along vs the one man team you are. Hell, them just having a dedicated camera man lets the momentum keep carrying throughout the day. That being said, your production quality has always been top notch even though you're doing all of this stuff as a one man team. Even taking this video shot by their guys, it's still edited in a style that's quintessentially yours.
Absolutely great work! This is one of my favorite videos. So much done in under 48 hours! A great team of builders, too. makes all of the difference. Thank you for this.
Love the collab work with you guys. Big fan of Rich and the DeBoss team, and Mike with the work he pulled out with the Ferrari. This is a great shake-up made in heaven. Can’t wait to see the next episode in the build. Seasons greetings to all.
Love the contrast - this week, we build an entire truck. Next week - we build 8 A-Arms (and we need to re-do them because they are not 100% perfect!). :)
My dad has one of these trucks that's been sitting in his backyard in Canada for 30 years. I can confirm, the one in this video is in absolute mint condition
This is almost exactly like my 55 Chevy truck. Camaro sub frame, Posi 9” ladder bars, turbo Ls, 4spd Muncie. it would have no trouble driving 3500 miles. This should be an awesome project!
I worked with a guy who bought his daughter a truck like this an the people that built it got finish very quick an he ask me to go thought it give it a once over and tune engine an my it drive nice...turns out it was not that bad and i kinda like these builds im very surprized that we dont see alot more like this...😎💯✌🧜♀
Nice work guys! I always find just one more person makes things go four times faster. Mike would still be drawing it in solid works. 🤣 Going to be a sweet truck. I had forgotten all about it.
I have a 78 Z28, and can confirm the factory welds on the subframe are Garbage. Mine had like 15 mig wire tails around 2" long, and the whole center section is undercut. You can tell how fast they pushed these out! lol
I would left the frame alone, I understand why they Did it. But the Older I get the more I like stock. And I Don't like trucks slammed Down. Love old Chevys. Had a lot of them. I'm a hot Rodder but I love the simplicity of the old stuff. Great Guys with a lot of talent
Just found this channel courtesy of Deboss. New subscriber from Australia, will be checking out the K24 Ferarri vids for sure! And see what else there is on here (only saw the Ferarri so far)
I'm more of a nerd than a wrench turner. But this build is exactly what I would want to do, take a gorgeous old patina'd truck and give it all the new creature comforts and reliability.
Dude, I've been looking forward to this one, great Christmas present👍🤘👍🤘 Yeah, if you have a crew of folks that know what they're doing, you can bust out a lot of work in a short amount of time
This build is almost 100% of what I am wanting to do for my ‘57. Did you guys capture specific measurements for the front end? Is there a “behind the scenes/curtains” of details for the Camaro subframe modifications?
I may be in the minority - but I have a massive appreciation for Mike's meticulous and reserved (slow) approach to building a project. Grateful for any videos you put out, but this one isn't my style. Nonetheless, can't wait to see whatever you put out next.
@5:23 Hah this is the first time EVER i see someone having the same phone as me! ulefone power armor 13, which is an insane phone. Not an advertisement. Wearing this in your pocket is like keeping 3 iphones in your pocket. These rugged beasts are heavy. The 13200mAh battery is hilariously big. It's best to wear suspenders if you carry one in your pocket.
Rich does in one episode what most youtubers cut into a 10 part series lol. Total legend
It’s so weird to see your shop shot in a different style and from different angles. An odd shakeup but a fun change from the status quo!
I love the "just one more project" mentality of Mike. He's a car guy through and through
Been watching Deboss since their LS swapped quattro build, Rich is a beast, to say he knows how to hustle would be an understatement
He was a field mechanic and those guys are all about getting it done, quick !
Super fun seeing Rich take over your shop!! I love colabs like this, especially since I am subbed to both you guys already
great collab between some of my favorite youtube content creators.

Now this is something right up my ally. I can’t wait to see this project done up. Merry Christmas Mike and to whoever sees this
This thrash reminded me of the A-Team thrashes. Love B.A. Great job guys.

It's amazing how fast a crew from snow country can work when they don't have to use dynamite to get every fastener undone. :)
Wow.... I wasn't expecting to go from a Ferrari to a Chevy but this is a really cool build! You and the team worked FAST!
Thanks DeBoss for turning me on to this channel.Great stuff!

THERE’S NO WAY YOU JUST HIT US WITH A 38 MINUTE VID OUT OF THE BLUE! This is exactly why I love this channel!
Love the mash up! Not one I expected to see. Deboss sure can get it done ,but Mike being so particular I’m impressed he was able to give up the reins for a quick turn around.
You’re not slow you’re a perfectionist and nothing is wrong with that. 👍🏾👍🏾
Great Job 👍 👌

Nice! You just earned a new subscriber. Greetings from Alberta.🇨🇦
Good thing I woke up early😂 gave us a Christmas gift with a new video
I love it !!! Great job Gents
Damn this is a crossover I didn't know I needed, Merry Christmas to me!

This was a treat! Deboss fan, too. Put a DD 6V53TT in this truck! 😆

Very cool - I'm over from Rich's channel - I'll keep watching for sure
Great video....Editing was spot on.
You need a Binky style "make the noise!" level for that kind of thing 👍🏻
It's great to see different shops come together and do some great looking work. I look forward to seeing more great projects from y'all.
I was wondering what happened to this thing, glad it's going to a good home.

The editing is all Aaron and the Deboss team. They killed it, bottom to top!
@@stanceworks i'm betting you'll see some real growth to your channel from this x-over ! much deserved
The DeBoss guys are animals in the garage. They don't play around, lol.
Love those dudes.
Impressive work! Usually when you see stuff like this on TV, the actual build took way longer but is squeezed into an hour long show.
I literally live like 15 minutes away from these guys in Ontario. I can vouch for the fact that trucks like that don't exist out here
This is the crossover I never knew I needed. Y’all are two of my favorite channels
Deboss is a great group to let take over your shop 🤙🏽
DB sent us over. Good start to say the least. The burn in looks great, nice work .
Well damn. I just watched DeBoss this morning-didn't see this until now. Sick!
I subscribed from Rich’s channel. He’s a brilliant fabricator and has created some amazing builds!
Awesome Xmas gift video! Please tell everyone to use eye-protection when cutting/grinding. Stay safe!
Fun collaboration between incredibly talented fabricators with a whole lot of mutual respect thrown in...what more can we ask for?
Absolutely great work! This is one of my favorite videos. So much done in under 48 hours! A great team of builders, too. makes all of the difference. Thank you for this.
Happy Christmas. More sick builds and snappy comments in 2023! Got Stance!! #stanceworks
Love the collab work with you guys. Big fan of Rich and the DeBoss team, and Mike with the work he pulled out with the Ferrari. This is a great shake-up made in heaven. Can’t wait to see the next episode in the build.
Seasons greetings to all.
Amazing amount of progress in such a short time! Well done, Men!!
Great to see Rich on this channel. This is the first of your content for me, and I'm here because of Rich. Definitely subbed.

Love it when multiple channels I follow get together
new subscriber here, came for the 55 build, I will be sure to binge watch SW over the next few days.
Definitely a different flavor, in a good way, especially for the collaboration and ad lib nature of it!
Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas Y’all…
they have the skill and faith in welding to basically go balls in on cutting ANYTHING off. that’s pretty epic.
beautiful...
nuthin like deboss crash team makin things real interesting...
"Vince will just weld that up" is Rich's go-to saying.
So looking like you're Vince for the day lol
Unfortunately Vince didn't get his passport in time
@@DEBOSSGARAGE Ah, I was wondering. Used to hearing it once or twice an episode 😉
Thank you for dropping this for us on Christmas, hope you and your family are having a good one mate
so stoked to see you and Rich’s crew working together! excited to see the project develop
Pls keep the patina😍

Here from Deboss. 😎🇨🇦.
Nice work guys! I always find just one more person makes things go four times faster. Mike would still be drawing it in solid works. 🤣 Going to be a sweet truck. I had forgotten all about it.
And I would be standing there breathing through my mouth because I don't even know how to use solidworks.

Awesome did a camaro clip swap on my 56 when I was 15 ..still have the truck
I'm more of a nerd than a wrench turner. But this build is exactly what I would want to do, take a gorgeous old patina'd truck and give it all the new creature comforts and reliability.
Yessssirrr!!!!!! Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!
Great to see some local boys helping out.
One less project leaves more time for the model A 😀
That is some top tier work done that quickly nice job
That engine is probably worth something depending on what It is. Always possible it's rare and sought-after. Not completely useless.
AWESOME GUY'S. Love love that truck!!
Now that's some fast work, obviously not their first rodeo... Merry Christmas!
Not our first rodeo…..But it was our first rodeo together on a project.
Your welding looks nice and tidy.
Obviously haven't forgotten how to mig weld
I really like this collaboration, hopefully we'll see it happen again.
Merry Christmas Mike 🎄 great to see this collaboration 👏
Brilliant! Some Christmas Day Mike !
Would be great to see some more quick build colab’s in the future
Excellent job Rich Sweet looking Truck Mike nice job also Can’t wait to see more of your projects Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Those welds on the two frames are damn good!
Center bubble every time. Solid work, fellas.
Holy moly those Canadians are quick
Mike, love this vlog. Keep it real.
Dude, I've been looking forward to this one, great Christmas present👍🤘👍🤘
Yeah, if you have a crew of folks that know what they're doing, you can bust out a lot of work in a short amount of time
I'm very new to your channel, but I'm very impressed by the 2002 in the background, huge 02 fan, Rj in Oz
Awesome change of pace Stancy Pants.
YESSSS I’ve been waiting for this. Sitting by the fire with my coffee and this pops up? Merry F’n Christmas 🤘🏻
Merry Christmas from Canada! Nice to see the teamwork! I know why they are there and not here, it's -26C in my part of Ontario tonight :0
Great Video... Old School Suspension Upgrade. I Love it
🇨🇦 ❤
This is so incredibly different than Mike’s usual content
However I am not surprised knowing how much he loves cars 🚘
Soooooo much good 😊
Absolute awesome collab💯🙌✌️
Bravo 👏 on the PPE usage.
Gotta admire the Boys work rate, this was a very different SW Episode, wasn't sure at the start but really enjoyed it!
I knew something is up when rich is hanging around in this stance shop!
This build is almost 100% of what I am wanting to do for my ‘57. Did you guys capture specific measurements for the front end? Is there a “behind the scenes/curtains” of details for the Camaro subframe modifications?
Sub'd for the deboss collab. Awesome project.
Merry Christmas and thank you for the content sir!!!

awesome collaboration gents
Remove the stock springs and shocks. Set the ride height with all thread. Then allow for the upward travel.
That is in the next episode on our channel again. Still in Mike's shop
@@DEBOSSGARAGE Cool. I need to watch that. Nice work.
