I like these double day videos. Love the continuity of it. Feels like we're on a weekend roadtrip with you!
Perfectly said!!!!!
Me too.
me too!
I lvoe them as well
Indeed makes it even better
I like these longer videos because I get more of sense of what your experience is in a location. Great job with the lobster. Thanks!
ive advocated for raw footage dump for the longest lol love his analogy's an metaphors keep me focused on second and third monitor. To me he is Mavs successor and prodigy in my opinion.
Ryan, the longer the better. I could watch these videos for hours. Love the double day format.
Agree Its The Best!!❤❤
Agreed!
I really resonated with how you described dispatching you’re own meal before eating and the quote you gave was perfect! I’ve been fishing for 15 years and dispatching fish to cook and eat myself and the feeling of putting in that work to get something that you see where it comes from, process the meat yourself, and cook it right there is how we should all be connected to our food and it’s how every single one of our ancestors originally got their food. The disconnect of going into a supermarket and buying a random cut of meat not wondering where it came from is all too normalized…
Glad you did the live lobster. I hunt for meet for my family. I understand your thoughts on dispatching a lobster properly and am impressed with that. Ethical hunting is no different and gives me appreciation for what how to properly hunt each season.
I completely understand what you said about the lobster and why you said it. I often find myself in that deliberately delusional position when I eat meat, because personally, I hate the thought of killing an animal to eat it but will quite happily chow down on a burger. Very valid point. Thanks for making us all aware and challenging others. Love your content bro! From a fellow Ryan ❤️
Always enjoy your videos. They are interesting and the pace is good. I don’t eat meat, but I really respect your position and how you dealt with the lobster. I agree with your reasoning. Very humane! Nicely done.
Agree with your philosophy about knowing how meat gets to your plate.
Toured a Delmarva Peninsula chicken plant as a journalist many years ago. The day didn’t turn me into a vegetarian but it was an experience I’m glad I had.
Safe travels.
I used to line cook in NYC on the Michelin level in 2019, and one of my first ever tasks on the "fish station" was prepping lobster. I had to dispatch over 60 lobsters per day, and the method we used was the exact one you used here: knife straight to the head and cut down
the double videos are the way to go. i like the long videos! love your content in general, the cooking with the adventure with the good wholesome commentary, feels like i escape when i watch !
So glad you were able to take the time to see Maine. The Maine salt air is in my blood and there is really nothing like it. As far as the 2 day videos, I think it's a great idea. It's fun to be able to see more and do more with you on your travels. ❤
Your videos inspire me to get out on the road and experience Vanlife. That is so much more valuable than just entertainment.
Ryan I absolutely LOVE the longer videos! And as always, you did another great job on this one, keep it up, stay safe and have fun!❤
You made a really good point about the lobster and 'dispatching' it, I tend to agree with this and growing up it was a lesson that my parents taught me. I know most might not agree, like you said... but wow you hit the nail on the head for me.
I really like the two days in one vlog thing, it brings a sense of continuity.
I have been in Maine for 2 years now i need to explore more. It is a very beautiful state and you made it at the perfect time of year! What a fun adventure. Safe travels as always bud✌️ 🦞 🦪 🌊
Love that you give history of your locations and love that you add a cooking segment to most of your videos.
Loved your comments about the lobster… this is a very important concept that needs to be echoed.
It is extremely important to remain conscious and be mindful of where meat comes from. Hunting or taking an animals life with your own hands is a powerful experience that forms a deep respect and appreciation for the animal. This spiritual connection to our food is lost in today’s world and we need to be reminded of this whenever we can.
Love the double day videos. 25-30 minutes seems like the perfect amount for your videos.
cook and eat YOUR lobster YOU paid for on YOUR channel. definitely a fan of the pushing 30min videos as well. I'm someone who will sit and watch hour + long videos and not get bored. also don't forget to get the meat out of the legs
Here in the northwest cook the lobster or crab the same. Put newspaper on your table and also steam large artichokes to eat with your sea food. With hot butter and mayonnaise. Feast! 👍🏻🇺🇸🌹🍺🍜
Wow! I visited Bar Harbor about 25 years ago. It’s definitely changed. Another enjoyable travel video, Ryan. Thank you so much for your effort🥰
Absolutely love all your videos. You provide very informative content. I appreciate the fact that you don't bore us with fluff. For example skipping through the process of making a bed. Love how you cut through the obvious things 😊
Safe travels.
Do you man, but there's a lot of Maine that's away from the coast. I'll still watch your videos regardless. I love these Maine videos. Maine (and actually the upper NE, in general) helped me get me through a really rough time in my life. That place will always have a special place in my heart.
It’s your life, your channel, do what you want and don’t live in the moment for others opinions. I don’t find it necessary for people needing to explain themselves doing what they want. What you do with your life is your business. I’m just here to watch and enjoy the content.
I like the longer videos because with the extra content I feel like I know a little more info about all of the interesting places you travel to!
Keep up the great work Ryan!
Multi-day videos are definitely the way to go. Awesome content, keep up the hard work!
From my experience, whenever there are loads of pigeons sitting on a specific roof, it usually means there is a weed farm growing in there haha
I love the longer videos. Really gives your videos the chance to breath.
+1 on the multi day video. Especially nice when you did the tidal comparison. Great work!
Yes my dude double day videos are great, this gives us a great perspective on how vanlife is sometimes.
I think we all can agree these double videos are awesome!! I’ve always love when your videos are long, I wish they were long all the time but I understand sometimes it’s difficult. But definitely keep up with the double day videos very entertaining!!
Ned Stark, the Shakespeare of our times. All kidding aside, I had never noticed before that you use the pizza oven for dirty laundry. Finding someplace to put dirty laundry can sometimes be a challenge even in much larger RVs so that's a clever use for it.
these longer videos are much more enjoyable for me atleast, great stuff Ryan!
also respect how you handled that Crab.
just found your channel today & im so excited to binge watch everything. you’re really inspiring & i like the videos that span multiple days
Love these longer videos Ryan, they’re a nice change up from time to time!
such good vibes in that town. loved the video format. do whatever comes easier to ya brother, we're all here for it.
I've been gone for a bit, but I really enjoyed this video and the 2 day vibe. Always enjoyable.
I personally like the longer videos. The shorter ones are fine, yes, however the 30 minute ones give or take, fills your day better in depth. Not that your shorter videos don't, i believe the 30 minute ones give a better "push to your day". Otherwise, im a subscriber for life. Great content! Always looking forward to the next adventure. Be well! Oh by the way,the lobster roll looked delish! Thanks for sharing.
Enjoyed another great video Ryan. Yes, double day videos sounds like a pretty cool idea. Always enjoy viewing your adventures across this great nation of ours.
When Mav came to Maine he did a multi day video too. I love that you were basically ten min from my house I look for you daily. It's a dream to meet you brother!!
At 2:35 in this video, that clip was hilarious. Your vlogs are always good, but you definitely need to add more those comedic voiceover inserts. That tiny addition was unexpected and very funny.
Love the more than one day videos 🎉 it’s super fun! The longer the better.. I’ve binge watched all your videos since I subscribed 😅😂
Another quality video. Thanks Ryan, stay safe!

Acadia is beautiful. You should've checked out the Rockland breakwater lighthouse too, it's stunning!
Loved this video, as usual, thank you Ryan.
Longer videos = more time with Ryan! im all for it!!
Love the hike over to the island, beautiful and very interesting.
not too long. great length of vid this one! Love this type of content, mate!
Watched the tide go out and the spit to the island appear. Brought home to my rock garden a rather large rock from the bar to add to others picked up on my travels around the U.S. Had a great breakfast in a local restaurant in Bar Harbor too. For a serious tide, go to the Bay of Fundy-tides thrtr can be as high as 42 feet.
As to cooking your lobster, used to go deer hunting. Everything bagged we gutted in the field then took to the local processing plant. The meat came home in hermetically sealed packages frozen to 20 below. Never had to buy meat at the grocery store for the next 8 or 9 months. So, am firmly in touch with where food comes from, how it's processed, and how it gets to the table. We celebrated them every time they were part of one of our meals.
Love the longer videos, gives me something to watch for a little bit
I’m so glad I found your channel when you made the “what can life is really like by yourself” like 9 months ago you’re my fav voutuber at the moment esp bc you constantly make videos and always traveling

Love Bar Harbor, Maine. It is the coolest little town. We have been there 3 times on various road trips in New England. Another cool area is Pemaquid....they have a cool lighthouse and keepers home.
