Our First Luxury Vanlife Camping Trip in a 2024 Camper Van!

In this episode of our camping adventures, we camp at an RV park for the night on our way to a beautiful Rock Quarry converted to a water park, then relocate to a State Park where we do some river swimming and rock skipping. We cook some tacos one night, steaks another night, and build a fire and make some Smores! We also set up our Starlink since there was no cell phone service and got some work done and played some video games. All while trying to figure out how to get used to setting up and breaking down our camp and having fun in our brand new 2024 Coachman Nova 20D camper van.

I have an Cessna C177 Cardinal airplane, a Magni M24 Gyroplane, a F-250 converted to a truck camper for Off Roading, and a Off-Road 16 Foot Sunlite Travel Trailer, and if we really want to get squirrely, a Toyota 4Runner to take off road. We plan to take trips all over the country and document as we go! We would love to bring you along with us!!

That Starbucks employee should be given a bonus. That is an example of not under reacting when something seems wrong or unsafe. I love seeing people looking out for other each other’s safety. I’m glad you weren’t a psycho killer.
yeah thats another way to look at this - wasn't sure to be annoyed because she thought I might be a psycho killer and i'm not, or glad because she was looking out in case I was a psycho killer.. maybe this just doesn't happen very often so she just reacted with her instincts.. unfortunately for me, her instinct was I might be a weirdo... maybe I need to work on that 🤔

Interested in the curtain you hung. Could you tell me where you purchased it and are the rails put up with double stick tape?
Hey! We got both on Amazon. The rail is double sided tape so we didn’t have to drill into the plastic. So far it works perfectly and holds up to the heat. The one piece behind the drivers seat I had to use some super adhesive 3M tape because the curtain gets caught on the seat sometimes and tugs at it. But the rail comes on 12 inch sections you put together. The curtains are thermal and black on the one side and light gray on the other so it doesn’t make the place look smaller. They work great other than the circle loops let light in but not enough to matter. If you want the exact items let me know and I’ll dig up the links. Thanks for watching !!!
Liked the video. What is the name of the campground by Fugitive Beach? We always stay at Maramec Spring State Park when in the area
I don’t remember off the top of my head. It’s about 5 minutes down the road though from fugitive beach so it was worth it and nice enough. Maramec Spring is a pretty nice place too !!
