So if you don't use the limiter, you will have to lower the signal as the reconstructed peaks will exceed the threshold i.e. 0dB. In my opinion, RX's clip repair tool is easier to use and currently sounds better. SL has room for improvement here.

Spectralayers is the better RX. I prefere edit audio like Photoshop and audio layers.
