This is all cool and I've listened to that GitHub comparisons, too. But what I really want to know is where did these thousands of original single track recordings originate from. Clearly made at the time these often famous albums were taped I wonder how they found their way to certain servers. From a music history pov they are so interesting as you can here artists, producers talk and listen how things were developed. I don't know why there is so little buzz about them. But hearing MJ or the Pet Shop Boys during the actual recordings is just amazing.

It drives me nuts that when you bounce a midi track to audio , cubase wont name the track the name of the part. It is a useless 2 step process. This is shocking to me

Thanks Daniel. Brand new to this and have UVR. But the four in board remixing models, still can’t isolate the commentary from a distorted crowd in one of my boxing videos. I think there’s an option to download more models (plugins- is that the term? Excuse me I’m wet behind the ears😬) but any other advice would be appreciated 🤝

Thanks a lot for your videos! They help me a lot in my workflow. Maybe for a future video : In midi recording, when you select a track, sometimes the previous track selected is still playing (and recording) because the record button is still set for this track. As templates are sometimes big, it's boring to find the track you don't want to deselect the record. Is there a way in cubase to force it to unselect all unwanted recorded tracks? Thanks again or your videos!

Thank you very much for this video. I've alvaws searched how to do that in Cubase and found mostly the 1st methode here and there. I muse honestly say that none of the methods out there are really satisfactory. You need to fiddle too much with great accuracy. Coming from FL studio I can use a simple function providing a precise and fairly accurate number in a few clicks. This is one feature that needs to be added to Cubase. No jumping tempo track, no sample cutting, no fuss. Just pick an option. Maybe (just like in FL) pick a range of assumed tempo (we can do that but there is a fully automatic mode too that is working fine). Wait a few seconds for the analysis. And voilà. FL Studio is far better in this matter. Fortunately I own it. I am happy I found a video that is more complete and I also learnt about the "back to fixed tempo" button. Didn't know that. The jumping tempo track method one creates annoys me and I had no idea how to get rid of it. 👍

Why making a video about something, that everyone who's using Cubase seriously will find out right away without any help? I noticed it and I went straight into the editing settings, because I knew that I could change it there?? Can't believe this stupid video has over 19K views. WTF. It's like making a video about a refrigerator, showing that you can turn off the light inside the fridge. What's next?? Showing how you quantize a midi track by clicking on the Quantize Icon??

Cubase section editing is cumbersome on iPad compared to Atari 😂

You can set the cursor position with a simple left click of the mouse on any empty space. The option for this is in Preferences - Transport - Locate when Clicked in Empty Space. (Cheers for the tips!)

Wait.. what do you assign the greater than/less than keys to.. what is it in the key preferences? You told us about it but didn't show how..
