track versions for video, new Sampler Track stretch algo, start modes, midi editor and the multiple view, great sounding new fx comps, vocal rack and eqs!, chord track workflow, render to video, better video playback e.g.

Okay I was happy for the channel configuration, finally that's cool. But from stereo to mono it's only the left channel ? Why can't we choose either L or R channel or even sum to mono ? It's been like that for years in Reaper.
I don't understand why you don't get the full version of GROOVE AGENT 5 with the Pro Version of Cubase. It's really not fair. Who'd buy GA 5 when they can purchase a Hardware Maschine mikro mk3 for the same price? You can even buy a used maschine mk2 for less than the price of GA-5. 🤔 It would be quite nice to include GA 5 with the Pro version of Cubase.
Would definitely like the full version of GA included but Cubase doesn't give you full versions of most things, SpectraLayers One, Halion Sonic, Iconica Sketch and Groove Agent SE are all cut down versions.
@@danielayotalks 👍🏼 These cut down versions are the reason why people will opt for 3rd Party Vsti's like Kontakt. Halion is great but, nowhere near Kontakt. Spectral layers 🤔 FL Studio now has free stem separation & lifetime free updates. I bn using Cubase since the beginning. I remember it having the Vocoder, & I was disappointed when it was discontinued - yet now it's back. I remember when Groove Agent 1 came out. Now they want us to buy the full version of these products - smh. Why would anyone pay money for a 'software' drum program when they could buy they equivalent 'hardware' for the same price? Who would buy Halion over Kontakt? And most ppl already have their own form of SpectraLayers. I use Izotope. I've paid 600 for 11Pro - then a few months later 12 Pro came out - another $100 !!! I felt like I was being used by being forced to upgrade once again. Now here comes 13 with It's limited edition of Vsti's. Pro versions of Cubase should include at least a full version of a vsti imho. They're charging us an Arm & a Leg 👈🏾 Fact-Checkers
In terms of content, Kontakt is king but HALion is in my opinion, definitely comparable utility wise. It's great to see FL Studio catch up to Cubase with stem separation and offer more instrument stem without purchasing extra tools. However, the quality of the FL Studio separation is not on the same level as say SpectraLayers Pro (which I would argue is comparable to Izotope RX Standard or even Advanced) The FL studio free lifetime upgrades offer massive value but you can see now with the new (optional) FL Cloud subscription introduced in 21.2 that Image Line want more money as well from their customers.💸 If my memory is correct, depending on the region purchased, Cubase version upgrades tend to work out cheaper in the long run compared to version upgrades from Studio One, Ableton, Bitwig & Pro Tools. Nevertheless, the full version of Groove Agent would be a nice addition to Cubase! 👍
@@danielayotalks I agree that Halion is definitely comparable utility wise, no doubt👍🏼 FL Studio's stem separation feature doesn't impress me at all. In fact, I can't put FL Studio in the same league as Cubase bc it is the absolutely worst DAW ever for recording audio. It is the popular choice of 'Beatmakers' only. It is not a Composer's DAW by a long shot. If Cubase implemented the full version of GROOVE AGENT, I firmly believe that they could intercept FL Studio's massive popularity in the Beatmaker Genre. It would payoff in the long-run for Steinberg with more Cubase Sales from younger aspiring enthusiasts. I think that Cubase Pro should have a full version of GA, or Halion (let the buyer choose). And then, bring back The Dongle to protect it from piracy🤣
This is so cool. The features are insane, Steinberg is creative at making products. But after 20 years i choose the step to leave Steinberg. There is no customer support since months. No phonesupport and no answers to tickets. Problems since years not fixed and this after 20 years of paying updates... sorry, that is not longer acceptable!

Yeah I agree, having the choice should be acknowledged and implemented
nonsense. Mono and lwft is logical, its for recording - same behaviour as in other daws like S1. You can free route what goes in left channel.

You have to do what's best for your situation. No DAW is perfect
@@danielayotalks Cubasefeatures are nearly perfect. But the customersupport not. :)
that vertical zoom isn't new at all....... that shit has been here since when I started with 5.... it's always been control + wheel.

too complicated it
Can you be more specific?
