Good job at misleading Steph during the beginning of the movie lol. Linda Hamilton did a terrific job here. She deserved a nomination for the Oscars. The movie is timeless.
You know in the helicopter chase scene Cameron's crew refused to film this saying that it is extremely dangerous and impossible to film that scene like this. Specifically the Director of Photography told him "Nobody can film that the way you want to! You ll get us all killed!" However Cameron just said to one of the crew members holding a camera "just give me this" and he went with camera in hand to film the whole scene himself. When he returned he told them "Thats how its done!". The result you saw it in the movie.
From the first Terminator film to the sequel, Sarah Connor has amazing character development. THIS is how you develop a strong female character. She went from a damsel in distress in the first film to a badass in the sequel.
Fun fact- When John was in the mall parking garage and the T-1000 started chasing him, he actually caught up to John. So for the retake he had to tone down the running a bit.
You mentioned the twins.... You also see Linda Hamilton's twin sister in the scene the terminator disguises as Sarah at the end to call John. It's also her sister in the park when Sarah has a nightmare. Ps: I knew you were going to cry. Hehe I remember the Top gun: Maverick reaction hehe and some other movie. So, yeah, I saw it coming. It happens to me too hahaha. Ps 2: the foster mother is Vasquez in Aliens.
Sometimes scenes are removed to fix the pacing of a movie, or keep it under a certain time limit. And then sometimes, they just screw up and remove something that could have been very important. Overall I think the removal of some scenes was justified. Others though should have been kept. It's more of a personal preference thing.
Steph and Liam, please, Please, PLEASE be sure to watch TERMINATOR 3 RISE OF THE MACHINES. A lot of people will tell you to skip it because they don't like it. While it may not be as good as T-1 and T-2 it is still a very good movie and brings everything to its logical conclusion. Personally, I enjoyed T-3 every bit as much as the first 2. I am really enjoying your channel and it seems like others are too since it is growing. Your reactions are all so genuine and the two of you are a very handsome couple. ❤😊❤😊
Really appreciate that thank you. I am considering 3 because I remember enjoying it back in the day! Yeah it’s not as good as these 2 but it’s still enjoyable (if I remember rightly lol)
Great reaction to a mold-breaking sequel. I was in the US Navy on port call in Hong Kong when this came out. A few of us took the ferry to Kowloon and watched in english with cantonese subtitles. This film is a masterpiece.
"Well, enough of me crying, what do you think?" 😀 Priceless, Liam. Just priceless. I love that you get emotional watching these kinds of things like I do. I still get teary eyed with a lot of the reactions you do. And Steph is priceless as well. I love you both. 🙂 I seem to remember reading that one of the hard guidelines that studios followed in this era was that if a movie was over 90 minutes long the audience would be less likely to go see it (something Lord of the Rings absolutely disproved, right?) and so sometimes scenes that seem too important to be cut were cut. Thank goodness for director's cut versions, yeah? Some notes (as usual): The man automatically taking pictures while looking stunned in the mall is the same character (and actor) who was the police officer that Arnold took the police car from in his pursuit of Kyle and Sarah in the first movie. That's why he looks stunned: he knows who this guy is and he knows the damage and killing he was responsible for the last time he saw him. It's not mentioned or referred to in any editions, but it is an Easter Egg that a friend of mine showed me. Robert Patrick trained so hard for this role as the T-1000. Training to fire a gun without the reflexive blink. Learning to run full speed only breathing through his nose, and he was fast enough a sprinter that he actually caught the dirt bike in the mall parking garage. He was so amazingly intimidating in this movie, as much as or even more so than Arnold, and that's saying something! I like the extended edition or giving us another shot of Kyle and Sarah together, even if it was just a dream. Michael Biehn played great roles in this and Aliens! Speaking of Aliens, though she looked way different in this movie, the actor who played John's foster mother also played Vasquez in Aliens. I never really believed it until, as the Terminator, she gave a Vasquez look at the body of "her" husband. When the orderly licks Sarah in the hospital, that was apparently one of the so-called catatonia tests done by unethical or sadistic orderlies according to an old friend of mine who had worked in a few psych hospitals, mainly in California, back in the late 70s and early 80s. It wasn't unusual for patients to try to get an advantage by pretending to be catatonic, hoping that the staff would think that they were out of it and not pay much attention so they could try to escape, create havoc, or whatever. Licking someone's face was a mild way of testing, according to my friend. The more standard way of testing among the more brutal orderlies was what was called a cup check, basically hitting the person in the crotch as hard as they could with a broomstick or something like that (the tonfa, shown in the movie, or a billyclub, wasn't standard when he was working in the field, so the evil jerks had to use other items like broomsticks or knees). If they didn't react then they were catatonic. And, sometimes, the catatonic patients needed to be taken to the hospital later due to the damage inflicted by whatever the orderly did causing ruptures or internal damage. Apparently one patient lost his testicles as it was several days before it was realized how badly he had been hurt. And, of course, no one ever knew how it happened. “He musta fallen, or done it to himself to try to get out of here.” My friend never missed that job. He told me that some people did things worse than that, but those stories don't need repeating. There are actually two sets of twins in this movie. One set, as Liam noted, are the brothers who played the security guard at Pescadero and the T-1000 imitating him. The other set are Linda Hamilton and her twin sister Lesley who played the other Sarah in the sequences like the nightmare and the end battle where there are two of her are in the same scene. Lesley, a nurse in real life, passed away several years ago. The T-101 learning to smile was cut from the theater edition along with the 'brain surgery' preceding it, cos it is one bit that doesn't add much of value to the story, but it does lead to a point that amused me once I saw it. After the failure copying the young man's smile, the Terminator begins copying John's mannerisms and his one sided half smirk smile. This is best seen in the exchange after he hefts the minigun in Sarah's arms bunker and when he says "Trust me." before going to take care of the police at Cyberdyne. I remember learning that Cameron got a letter from a group of scientists congratulating him for the most realistic depiction of a nuclear detonation in a city in Sarah's nightmare. This horrified him since he was just trying to create the most over the top terrifying image he could, only to discover that it was accurate. Luckily, Sarah stepped back from Terminator mode before killing Dyson, which is good. Killing Dyson wouldn't have changed much of anything anyway. Cyberdyne still would have had the parts, all his notes, and everything they needed to complete the project. Judgment Day would have come, just on a different day other than Michael Jackson's (and my little sister's) birthday. The excellent Joe Morton, who played Dyson, had an accident that punctured one of his lungs when he was younger, so he knew firsthand how Dyson should be breathing/gasping at the end. And, when you get right down to it, the biggest damn hero in this movie was Miles Dyson. When faced with the reality of what his creation will be used for he changes from dispassionate scientist and loyal company man to willing participant who unselfishly sacrifices his life for the future. He's even more heroic in that he gives the SWAT team who have mortally wounded him the chance to escape and save their lives. I do give the SWAT team a break since they were unaware of what was at stake and, having already been fired on by a fricking minigun, were almost certainly under orders to shoot first and neutralize the threat instead of disarm and capture. The extended edition had two advantages over the standard edition. Though it wasn't obvious in its performance, the continuous damage the T-1000 was taking from every shot that hit it and every impact was affecting it. It is most obvious at the scene in the smelting plant after being shattered when, as shown in the theater release, its feet tended to take on the aspect of the flooring as it walked and, in the extended edition, when it grabbed a railing its hand stuck and mimicked the paint job on the railing. Also, in the extended edition, at the final scene when Sarah is calling out for John, he looks down and sees that the fake Sarah's feet look like the ironwork that the T-1000 is standing on and he knows for sure which to trust. The extended edition variant ending is also superior (to me) for one more reason: it ends with older Sarah sitting on a playground bench and watching her adult son playing with her granddaughter, meaning that this Terminator movie is absolutely the end of the franchise, and all the movies that steal the name of the series after this are just lame cash grabs and can and should be avoided like the plague, in my opinion.
Thank you it means a lot! And thanks for the added info. Although the part your friend was telling you about the patients is disturbing! I can’t even imagine😣. Not sure if we will do 3 and salvation as I did enjoy those movies but I agree…T1 and T2 are goated for sure. I also noticed (which you might know) is that the main SWAT guy who Dyson says “I’m not sure how much longer I can…hold this” to, is actually HANK from Breaking Bad! I thought that was sick!! 😃 He looked so familiar I had to google it!
If I remember right the special edition features deleted scenes but has the same ending as the theatrical cut and the director's cut has the same deleted scenes but an alternate ending.
Aww Dude, nice to see a bit of raw emotion... I'm just the same. I thought I'd seen every version of this movie but there were scenes in your vid I'd never seen.. like the smile and the dog collar. What version was this? Anyways... loving the channel
More trivia: Sarah Connor from Terminator 2: Judgment Day Linda Hamilton's identical twin sister, Leslie Hamilton Freas, appears in the movie as her double in the playground scene.
Guys give the others a go & then can make the mind up. I saw T3 several times in the cinema out of pure joy, I liked Salvation as Bale is my fav actor, & prob preferred Dark Fate over Genysis (my least fav). Fun to see Arnold playing the part!
Great reaction if you guys keep going with the Terminator series I'll watch for sure, if not also all good! But yeah most like this one the best out of all of them.
I believe there are 3 versions. I went for the one with extra scenes but the same ending I had seen👍🏻 think the old woman Sarah scene is in the extended special edition.
Here is a funny story that is somewhat similar to Sarah Connor's experience. I was doing a work/ study program in graduate school at the short term psychiatric hospital in Chapel Hill, NC. We had a patient admitted by her family that insisted her phone was tapped and that she was being followed. She was a bit eccentric but appeared normal in all other areas of her life. To make a long story short, it turned out that her phone was tapped and she was being followed. Apparently, the State Bureau of Investigation had targeted her by mistake and she was being followed and her phone was tapped.
🤯That’s insane!! I can’t even imagine how relieved I would feel that I wasn’t going mad. That’s scary also though really to think they can just do that to someone! Thanks for sharing that story!👍🏻
If I were you (but I'm not), I would react to Terminator 3 - Rise Of The Machines, and that would be about it as for the franchise. I think there is good stuff in this one. I ask this because I like that movie.
A great film! I agree, this film pretty Much wraps up The Terminator. This is so well done. Edward Furlong did great as John Conner. Robert Patrick did great as the T-1000. One of his best roles. If you want to see another great Schwarzenegger/Cameron production. I recommend "True Lies" a great 1994 action suspense film. Another great James Cameron Film. Stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jamie Lee Curtis, Tom Arnold, the late Bill Paxton and the late veteran actor Charlton Heston. Also Fact, the woman that looked like a double of Sarah Conner in her dream on the Playground was actually played by Linda Hamilton's late twin sister. Great reaction Liam and Steph!
To me, Terminator 2: Judgment Day is the greatest action movie ever made. The Citizen Kane of the action genre as far as I'm concerned. Its also one of three top tier sequels ever made. We wouldnt have The Matrix or any of these modern Marvel movies (for better or worse) without this masterpiece of a film. And frankly, T2 has aged better than all of them. Linda Hamilton gave the performance of her career... in the role of a lifetime. As far as I'm concerned, Linda was totally robbed of a nomination for Best Actress. Her Sarah Connor is one of the greatest, strongest, most iconic female characters ever put on film and thats mostly because of Lindas powerful performance. To me, Camerons other top tier sequel, Aliens is the greatest sci-fi ever made. That said, there are only 2 movies in this franchise worth watching, The Terminator and T2.
3:30 in the morning (UK) and just getting my food and coffee and settling down Just now I was wondering what to watch and now I know is simply has to be this! :) Will say cheers guys and thanks because already know how good this is (and the SE too! Great choice!)
Really appreciate that! I was awake till 1am last night and I was flagging hard so I honestly really appreciate you checking it out so late! Just hope it was worth you staying up for😂 thanks again, seriously!👍🏻
@Reactsandgames lol I'm nocturnal like you guys (actually my bedtime right now) but yeah I meant that at odd hours a really nice treat to find you both reacting to this! Really really enjoyed it, thanks again! And thanks for all the editing stuff behind the scenes some of these Hollywood big hitters are monsters to get through the system!
Tbh, you can do Terminator 3 and Salvation too, those are good stand-alone movies IMO. They are not on T1/T2 level, partly because they mess around with the timeline a bit, but are good action movies. If your wife want to see them, ofc. The later movies are....fine, but are more like reboots of the franchise than anything else. I can also recommend the series "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" - while it follows its own timeline, and is also an unfinished series, I feel it depicts a more down-to-earth and realistic take on the Terminator franchise. Like, what is it like being forever hunted by killer machines from the future? You stay hidden and evade more than you fight, that is for sure. Big, flashy, explosives and car chases are not a good way to stay hidden. The series starts a few years after T2, with John being an older Teen. Then stuff happens. Unfortunately, the series ends with a rather open-ended cliffhanger as it was not renewed for the final season - still a very interesting watch if you like Terminator.
I always wonder what happened to the arm that Arnold cut off in the giant cog. If you play terminator resistance, you actually get hold of the chip that they reprogrammed, to take control of a single infiltrator. The one that Arnold is in terminator 2.
You guys are great, honestly. Just a really great, honest, enjoyable reaction, as always. Glad you didn't watch the awful version with the awful ending as well.
Blade Runner is the greatest SciFi film ever made, but that's my opinion. Hey, look? I just gave you something to react to if you haven't seen it. Stars Harrison Ford and Directed by Ridley Scott. BTW really nice editing job on this you kept the best moments other channels are not as good as yours.
I didn’t know that originally! Only when fact checking my comment about the guard twins did I learn that! That’s awesome though! Such a shame she has passed❤️
1. Linda Hamilton should have been at least an Acadamy Award for best actress. 🤩 2. My guess is that stove is hot🧐 3. We have limited AI now, so does China.😱😱 4. Arnold did many, but not all of his own stunts in this movie, including riding the motorcycle. At one point he was injured, and they had to stop production for a couple of weeks so he could recover. 5. Arnold is not left-handed, but the way he works that shotgun is impressive😲 6. The twin security guards also play in "Good Morning Vietnam". 7. GOOF: Enrique's dogs don't respond to "Uncle Bob" as a Terminator. 8. "I need a vacation" was ad lib. 9. This is the action movie GOAT.🤩
Skynet's army in the future changed a bit over the years. However, the "foot-soldiers" were Terminators like Arnold's, relatvively cheap to mass produce and could pass as humans IF they had the skin grafted to them. There were earlier models with rubber skin, but they fooled absolutely nobody and just ended up looking creepy AF. You can see one such older model in "Terminator Salvation", when the main characters encounter a bulky Terminator in the city.
Great reaction. You 2 have lots of chemistry. It was great for the reaction that beautiful Steph thought Arnold was the bad one again. (you need to practice your stone cold face when Steph asks you something. Your smile and expression sometimes is a give away LOL you can't lie to your wife ). No reactor has made any comment about the T-1000 when it was dying on the hot metal and starts changing to previous characters. I think the robot was trying to check if one of the characters could help him survive the heat. Didn't work. Great expressions from both of you, specially Steph.
@Reactsandgames I suggest you add your account name on a corner, semi-transparent, nothing big, just in case somebody start using small parts of your reactions to do compilations without giving credit to you.
@@fernandof.2225 oh really! I’ll have to look into doing that. Still learning how to use a computer properly😂 doing RUclips has thrown me in at the deep end (thank god for tutorials lol)
Always prefer James Cameron’s directors cuts ( this, Aliens, The Abyss ) as I feel they much improve the original theatrical version. T2 special edition was released on VHS in the UK on 29Aug97 (judgment day) which I thought was a good marketing strategy.
I think the special edition ending is a great wrap-up for the first story. I've always ever seen this one so the theatrical ending seems weird to me. I've always liked to see the third movie as a "this is what would've happened" kind of movie.
Great reaction guys 🔥 what was disappointing for us when this movie was released in the previews it was shown that Arnold was a reprogrammed Terminator... So we knew what he was already 😕 The guy in the mall taking the pics of Arnold after getting thrown through window is the same actor that played the cop that Arnold through against the police car he took .i know there are some that dislike all the movies that followed... I personally enjoyed them with T3 being IMHO the best of them. 😊
Thanks! Yeah that sucks! Why wouldn’t they want to keep that a secret! Considering doing T3 and Salvation actually as I enjoyed them! Not seen any of the others.
30:15 His intentions were good, the problem was he used a Flawed CPU to build off of... This is also why the Terminators CPU must be destroyed also, his CPU has the Same Flaws as Skynet's.. If Dyson made his Processor from scratch and not used code and design from the old Terminator CPU, it might have been the perfect pilot.. Everyone says it's ok to keep the re-programed terminator, but remember his CPU is Flawed and they sometimes goes bad. "Rebel quota " which means, Good terminator processors will at some point come to the same conclusions as Skynet. never ending loop
I feel if Dyson survived and went to prison. It would be the most righteous time spent in prison because he, and his family, know that he saved billions of human lives.
You guys are lucky, us, old farts, who got to see it back then already knew Arnold was a good guy. It was spoiled by the commercials, the newspapers and the Guns N Roses music video.
40:28 The real question is, how does Tysons wife explain her husbands actions when questioned by police. Do they believe her terminator story, or does she end up in the insane asylum as well?
Great reaction guys. I will disagree a little bit though... I love T2 but T1 is still my favourite. Though, you can't really compare them as they are like "Alien" and "Aliens" in that they are different genre films. The first in each is more horror suspense and the second of each is more action based thriller. You also have to keep in mind that T1 was made on basically an Indi budget ($6.4M or $19.4M today) where T2 had a Blockbuster budget ($102M or $235M today). Which really makes T1 that much more impressive. The reason for the cuts in the Theatrical Release is, as usual, for pacing, redundant scenes, and run time. The theatrical was already at 2h 17m while the Director's Cut is 2h 34m. 17m may not seem like a lot but anything past 2h is already pushing it. Oh... speaking of twins being used in the film, Linda Hamilton's twin sister, Leslie Hamilton Gearren, was in the movie for all the scenes there were two Sarahs...and IIRC she was also the Sarah in the park with the kids.
Silver surfer has been around since 1966 lol. And she said it reminded her of an XMEN (I’m guessing she was referring to Colossus as we watched Deadpool recently) and silver surfer isn’t an XMEN. Just to clarify lol
A lot of scenes are cut mostly because a studio wants a shorter runtime. Shorter runtime, more showings, more money. And the scenes that were cut weren’t COMPLETELY necessary, they were just better lore building, like the scene with Kyle. It was nice but not necessary to the movie. However, one cut scene that I felt was somewhat necessary was when the T-1000 was in John’s room because I believe that’s when he first started glitching, which happened throughout the rest of the movie, like when he touched that rail with the black and yellow and his skin changed to match. Which might also have been a cut scene, so maybe I’m not making a valid point. lol. And I always wondered how they justified Terminator 3 until I remembered Arnold lost his arm, which is still in the gear where the T-1000 trapped him.
@ I could have sworn there were minor little glitches before that, just subtle things. Then again, it’s been about a year since I saw the movie. So ignore most of my post. lol.
interesting that you guys thought t1000 (the cop) was johns protector for the first ~15 minutes. Makes sense why you do though until you see the scene at the mall
PLOT PROBLEM answer me this Neither Dr Silverman nor Miles Dyson alert the proper authorities about the existence of Terminators and therefore the fact that Judgement Day is coming. In fact. Dyson goes on the run and gets killed instead Now I know it's a film but if I had incontrovertible proof of what was going to happen in the future, I would make a bit more of an effort to raise the alarm. I mean, what does Silverman do after escape? He goes home to his wife and she asks 'how was your day?' Just think it is really weak. Sarah. John and T-800 are on the run for days or weeks. There is an all out Nationwide search going on and clearly no one has been told. So Silverman is just gonna let it happen? I mean if the police capture / kill Sarah and John it WILL happen And Dyson? Why is he not raising the alarm after seeing a Terminator IN HIS HOUSE and hearing the story? Get on the phone, take pictures, send e-mail, phone the TV stations and get Arnie on the telly to demonstrate himself... DO SOMETHING Massive weakness for me. Great film but seriously
16:55 I always thought this scene had a small nod to women universally hating it when guys drink out of the milk carton. Even though its not a woman, but only taking the form of one.
Good work…. now don’t watch anymore, in fact, there aren’t anymore. These two perfect movies are the only Terminator films. 👍 👀 Edit - Also cool seeing Liam react to the extra Special Edition scenes. Checkout the alternate ending on RUclips mate, it closes the chance of a sequel.
I feel that Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines is a better place to quit the franchise as it leaves you with the 'whens and hows' better answered. Most folks don't like T3 because the franchise returned for the first time without director James Cameron. Also, my personal opinion, young adult John Connor is somewhat of a whimp. But other than that and most importantly, many more questions are answered and it leads us into doomsday. Movie ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Reaction ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Yeah, I hate it. The display is very VERY far from being finished. It will do eventually once I sort the back panel out for the unit lol sorry about that!
@@ivanbutenko8778 What does Avatar 2 have to do with the extended special edition of T2?? The ending in that extended cut was awful. Cameron himself admits it. To be honest, looking at what Cameron cut out of The Way of Water should be put back in. We finally get to see why Spider would save Quaritch. We see Neytiri finally get a real chance to shine
I don't know why reactors should care what other people want them to watch, or if they should or shouldn't watch certain movies. Watch what you want. What one person doesn't like, another person might like. All the Terminator movies were good and the heck with anyone that says otherwise.
I do agree with what you’re saying and I am considering 3 and maybe salvation for sure as I enjoyed them back in the day. But obviously for full transparency, it’s a lot of work to get the movies out and if it’s not something people are not too bothered with, I normally just do it for Patreon members. But I totally get your point.
Good job at misleading Steph during the beginning of the movie lol. Linda Hamilton did a terrific job here. She deserved a nomination for the Oscars. The movie is timeless.
She was sooo good in this! I totally agree! Thanks for watching! ☺️
I love how Robert Patrick trained himself not to blink, firing or driving. That's awesome.
That’s a crazy detail! Love that!
Once again, great reaction to one of the greatest movies of all time.
Thank you so much for watching! ❤️
I'm so glad you watched the Special edition! I really love all those scenes Liam pointed out and it has the original ending!
100% I love the additional scenes (except the dog one…that one they can cut! lol)
Turns out in the lore that there was only ever one T-1000 because even Skynet was scared of it, so humanity lucked out on that one
Oh really!? I did wonder why they wouldn’t send the best Terminator back in the first one. That makes a lot of sense!
@Reactsandgames Yup, it was a prototype that skynet sent as a last resort
That's assuming Genisys isn't canon. Most people only count the first two as such.
The smile scene always gets me
You know in the helicopter chase scene Cameron's crew refused to film this saying that it is extremely dangerous and impossible to film that scene like this. Yep. The studio was refused insurance coverage for this shot but the the pilot just said yolo and did it anyway.
From the first Terminator film to the sequel, Sarah Connor has amazing character development. THIS is how you develop a strong female character. She went from a damsel in distress in the first film to a badass in the sequel.

@Reactsandgames Yeah Patrick is a machine, he did well in this role. I saw this movie in theaters back in the day and it blew everyone away.

Great reaction to a mold-breaking sequel.
I was in the US Navy on port call in Hong Kong when this came out.

This film is a masterpiece.
Nice! Definitely worth the ferry ride!

I seem to remember reading that one of the hard guidelines that studios followed in this era was that if a movie was over 90 minutes long the audience would be less likely to go see it (something Lord of the Rings absolutely disproved, right?) and so sometimes scenes that seem too important to be cut were cut.
Thanks to Liam and Steph! 🦾
❤️
@Reactsandgames 💜
If I remember right the special edition features deleted scenes but has the same ending as the theatrical cut and the director's cut has the same deleted scenes but an alternate ending.
Nice reaction! Good job not spoiling! I enjoy your content, lopking forward next movies, cheers!
Thank you! 😃❤️
I cannot self-terminate. You must lower me into ze steel. Is the greatest movie line ever written.
Aww Dude, nice to see a bit of raw emotion... I'm just the same. I thought I'd seen every version of this movie but there were scenes in your vid I'd never seen.. like the smile and the dog collar. What version was this? Anyways... loving the channel
More trivia:
Sarah Connor from Terminator 2: Judgment Day Linda Hamilton's identical twin sister, Leslie Hamilton Freas, appears in the movie as her double in the playground scene.
Guys give the others a go & then can make the mind up. I saw T3 several times in the cinema out of pure joy, I liked Salvation as Bale is my fav actor, & prob preferred Dark Fate over Genysis (my least fav).
Fun to see Arnold playing the part!
Nah dont be fooled the rest are trash don't waste your time
I really liked T3.
this film is a Legend when the Terminator says I know now why you cry....
Great reaction if you guys keep going with the Terminator series I'll watch for sure, if not also all good! But yeah most like this one the best out of all of them.
Edward Furlong - John Connor, did a fantastic job acting in this role I think. Nice job Liam & Stef. Well done! ~ Robert in California
Totally agree! He is so great in this and to be his first really project is insane! Such a shame!
There a version out there with an end credit credit scene with an older Sara, John and a grand child at a playground?
I believe there are 3 versions. I went for the one with extra scenes but the same ending I had seen👍🏻 think the old woman Sarah scene is in the extended special edition.
Great reaction. You two are the best
Really appreciate that thank you! 😃and thanks for watching!
Great Reaction you both - reaction part at the end specially was touching
Thank you so much for watching with us! ☺️
If I were you (but I'm not), I would react to Terminator 3 - Rise Of The Machines, and that would be about it as for the franchise.
I think there is good stuff in this one.
I ask this because I like that movie.
Amazing how much this movie makes you feel about the Arnold Terminator versus T2 version. They just moved the factory evil switch to not evil.
😂 100%! Also would have been a different movie if when they open his head in this film, they accidentally turned him back into a killing machine🤣
Thank you so much for watching! We might have to check “True Lies” out at some point! ☺️
@Reactsandgames If you've not seen True Lies then you definitely have to check it out!
"Nah, I don't know him"
"That's his mate, innit?"
lol that is not the kind of friend you want.
3:30 in the morning (UK) and just getting my food and coffee and settling down
Just now I was wondering what to watch and now I know is simply has to be this! :)
Will say cheers guys and thanks because already know how good this is (and the SE too!
You're among my favorite reactors! Keep it up.
Honestly, really appreciate that! Thank you!
The final scene with the helicopter chase was filmed in my Hometown of Long Beach, California. Every time we rode over that bridge, we would say T2!
Nice!! 😃
I always wonder what happened to the arm that Arnold cut off in the giant cog. If you play terminator resistance, you actually get hold of the chip that they reprogrammed, to take control of a single infiltrator. The one that Arnold is in terminator 2.
Nice!! Is that any good? Seen small bits of game play.
You guys are great, honestly. Just a really great, honest, enjoyable reaction, as always. Glad you didn't watch the awful version with the awful ending as well.
Thank you so much that’s such a lovely comment! ☺️☺️
Есть ещё так же более поная версия фильма Extended Special Edition 2h.36m.8s
Finally ! Finally ! Finally ! "All good things come to whom knows to wait".
Hope you're well.
Thank you so much for watching! We are both well thank you! we hope you are too! ☺️
@Reactsandgames "All good things to those who wait." OMG. Have you both seen The Silence of the Lambs?? 🤩
Ooh I will have to add it to our list! ☺️
21:44 It is our natural instinct to catch stuff when it is thrown at us.
Also, the fake Sarah actually played by Linda Hamilton's (now deceased) twin.
I didn’t know that originally! Only when fact checking my comment about the guard twins did I learn that! That’s awesome though!
Such a shame she has passed❤️
awsome reaction to my favorite movie of all time :)
Thanks for watching with us! Appreciate it❤️
1. Linda Hamilton should have been at least an Acadamy Award for best actress. 🤩
2. My guess is that stove is hot🧐
3. We have limited AI now, so does China.😱😱
4. Arnold did many, but not all of his own stunts in this movie, including riding the motorcycle. At one point he was injured, and they had to stop production for a couple of weeks so he could recover.
5. Arnold is not left-handed, but the way he works that shotgun is impressive😲
6. The twin security guards also play in "Good Morning Vietnam".
7. GOOF: Enrique's dogs don't respond to "Uncle Bob" as a Terminator.
8. "I need a vacation" was ad lib.
9. This is the action movie GOAT.🤩
Terminator Genesis is an absolute underrated banger..almost if not as good as this one
Appreciate that a lot! Thank you❤️
@Reactsandgames I suggest you add your account name on a corner, semi-transparent, nothing big, just in case somebody start using small parts of your reactions to do compilations without giving credit to you.
@@fernandof.2225 oh really! I’ll have to look into doing that. Still learning how to use a computer properly😂 doing RUclips has thrown me in at the deep end (thank god for tutorials lol)
I was waiting for this.
These films are cut because they can show it three times in a day in a cinema instead of twice. Money...
The special effects are still impressive, but this film is still great because of the great story, dialogue and acting. 👍👍
I absolutely loved this film! So good! Thanks for watching! ☺️
great reaction :) glad Steph enjoyed it! now I'm just waiting for you guys to watch Attack of the Clones...
Thank you so much! We have watched it and it’s now in the editing pile coming very soon! ☺️
The cops aren't the only twins
Linda Hamilton and her twin sister filmed the final battle together
If you want to see the guard twins in another movie together, react to “Good Morning, Vietnam” with Robin Williams.
Terminator 3 Rise of the Machines is also worth watching
When the T-101 tells John to get down, Steph's side is great.
"Huh?"
Nice close-up.
It was a t800 model 101.
@chrisbate9956 🤦
Ahh the ending gets me too, every time 🥹
So sad! 😢
True! Didn’t look at it like that!
You guys are lucky, us, old farts, who got to see it back then already knew Arnold was a good guy. It was spoiled by the commercials, the newspapers and the Guns N Roses music video.
Yeah it was nice that she didn’t notice. I thought for sure she might get suspicious when he takes the shades from the guy at the bar…but no😂😂
46:31 thats liquid nitrogen for you. It's cold hearted and showes no mercy.
Hell Yeah! Finally 🤘
🥳🥳
miles Zuckerberg's death was sad. however, it was a heroic act
40:28
The real question is, how does Tysons wife explain her husbands actions when questioned by police.
Do they believe her terminator story, or does she end up in the insane asylum as well?
6:00 😂 those knowing glances
😂 !!
If you get the bluray of this you get 3 different versions of the film which there is one with a new ending!
A lot of reactors say the need terminator reminds them of the silver surfer. It is the other way around. This came first. By over a decade.
Silver surfer has been around since 1966 lol. And she said it reminded her of an XMEN (I’m guessing she was referring to Colossus as we watched Deadpool recently) and silver surfer isn’t an XMEN. Just to clarify lol
This is an extended version of the film. In the original version, Kyle is not present at all.
Special Edition.
Yeah that was a nice addition I thought!
Linda Hamilton twin sister was used in the movie 🍿!!
That’s so awesome! 🤩
I haven't tried it, but apparently the lock picking is an accurate way of doing it.
T-1000 started glitching after it was frozen, shattered, thawed, and then reformed.
@ I could have sworn there were minor little glitches before that, just subtle things. Then again, it’s been about a year since I saw the movie. So ignore most of my post. lol.
Oh yeah! I actually couldn’t remember off the top of my head the plot for T3!😂 Thanks!
interesting that you guys thought t1000 (the cop) was johns protector for the first ~15 minutes. Makes sense why you do though until you see the scene at the mall
I was happy she didn’t notice before hand. I thought she might have figured it out when he takes the shades from the guy🤣
PLOT PROBLEM answer me this
Neither Dr Silverman nor Miles Dyson alert the proper authorities about the existence of Terminators and therefore the fact that Judgement Day is coming. In fact. Dyson goes on the run and gets killed instead
Now I know it's a film but if I had incontrovertible proof of what was going to happen in the future, I would make a bit more of an effort to raise the alarm. I mean, what does Silverman do after escape? He goes home to his wife and she asks 'how was your day?'
Just think it is really weak. Sarah. John and T-800 are on the run for days or weeks. There is an all out Nationwide search going on and clearly no one has been told. So Silverman is just gonna let it happen? I mean if the police capture / kill Sarah and John it WILL happen
And Dyson? Why is he not raising the alarm after seeing a Terminator IN HIS HOUSE and hearing the story? Get on the phone, take pictures, send e-mail, phone the TV stations and get Arnie on the telly to demonstrate himself... DO SOMETHING
Massive weakness for me. Great film but seriously
16:55 I always thought this scene had a small nod to women universally hating it when guys drink out of the milk carton. Even though its not a woman, but only taking the form of one.
I’m forever doing that🤣 too much work to grab a glass that’s less than a metre away from me😂
I sneaked into the cinema to see this, was a 12A if memory serves. I was 11 and a half 😂
Nice! Wow 12A! I remember when they introduced that! Is it still a thing or did they scrap it? (I’m guessing your UK like us?)
The smile was actually in the original
Really!? The weird one he does? I don’t remember it!
@ the smile with the minigun was in the original.
@@mattleblanc7417 oh yeah I got that. I was referring to the very awkward smile he does when they are in Mexico lol
i like the reaction to a great movie :D Allow me to ask when is Star Wars Episode 2 coming? ^^
Slowly getting through everything now. Starting Working on it today so hopefully by tonight or worst case tomorrow 😃
Good work…. now don’t watch anymore, in fact, there aren’t anymore. These two perfect movies are the only Terminator films. 👍 👀
Edit - Also cool seeing Liam react to the extra Special Edition scenes. Checkout the alternate ending on RUclips mate, it closes the chance of a sequel.
Thank you for watching! ☺️
hey I’m Ryan I have a movie request Austin powers international man of mystery and if you can wear leather gloves for the movie
Yep, there are only two Terminator movies.
you can tell from all the skulls and tracked vehicles and laser weapons that this is a chick-flick but guys like it too.
😂
Terminator 3 rise of the machines is worth the watch...as for the other 3 their just ok!
Considering it and Salvation because I think it’s a solid film
48:10
Will authorities find this arm?
Prison? Dyson was dying from being shot. He'd never make it to the hospital to recover and be sent to prison.
I know that. I was saying that even if he had lived, he would have spent the rest of his life in prison.
@Reactsandgames Might've missed something you were saying. I was like, "What?"
I never understood why they only had the arm of the first one. Did the hydraulic press squish it into nothingness?
No. The first Terminator stuck it’s arm out of the press to grab Sarah and the rest was smashed.
Movie ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Reaction ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Watch the whole franchise.
At least terminated three and terminator salvation.. Or you can watch Sarah Connor Chronicles.
T v series was awesome
I have seen them all
I do actually enjoy those 2 so I am considering it for sure!
You should watch Dark Fate next
No. Its awful.
Awesome!
Thank you for watching! ☺️
Awesome
Got to get to that Gremlins sequel
It’s in the list! ☺️
@Reactsandgames fans can be so demanding
The white cord under Batman is a little distracting in video 😊
Yeah, I hate it. The display is very VERY far from being finished. It will do eventually once I sort the back panel out for the unit lol sorry about that!
Special Edition the best😊🎉❤
I have to agree!
As long as it isn't the Extended Special Edition
@LukeLovesRose Avatar 2 (2022) 3h.12m😉😁😏
You might want to watch Terminator 3, Sir. 😉Wink Wink 😉.
Considering it! It’s been a LONG time since I saw that movie though. Hope it still holds up😂
@Reactsandgames It's not as good as T2, it's just a female's turn as a terrminator. Her entrance is the same onto current earth as the previous ones.
welcome
I don't know why reactors should care what other people want them to watch, or if they should or shouldn't watch certain movies. Watch what you want. What one person doesn't like, another person might like. All the Terminator movies were good and the heck with anyone that says otherwise.
I agree, If they want to continue watching the next four. They have the right to do so. I will support them along the way.
