Dress shoes with jeans. Absolutely you can. I worked for men's wearhouse for 11 years and we would reccomend this to our customers, show them in our forms, ads and wear them ourselves. "Fashion is what they tell you to do....style is what you decide to do."
It is amazing that he wears a denim shirt so that the viewer actually has an idea how the particular shoe would look like with jeans when he holds it up. Very nice attention to detail.

I’ve been wearing dark indigo Levi’s with gray-brown Oxfords recently. It looks surprisingly good despite the fact it breaks several of these rules. I think it’s down to the fit and color of the jeans and shoes. The color makes them casual enough but the style means they can be worn with a very formal business suit and look good.

He would wear these to work... as an operator at a chemical plant?! Looked like he was wearing denim bags around his ankles.

Overcoat 2.) Monk strap and Chelseas 3.) Leather brief case bag 4.) Leather gloves 5.) Adult sneaker (sneaker sole but leather top) 6.) Watches 7.) Polos and Button Shirts 8.) Bomber Jackets I get nothing but compliments. Not to mention I work with a floor of 100 sales men and women, so they keep me on my toes to always be better! Thanks again Antonio!!!
Going out to a club, I like to wear black or blue jeans with my black chelsea boots or ox blood red chukas. I use the same shoes for business casual dress with slacks. I think they look great! Nice cowboy boots also look good in both professional and social environments.
You always provide the useful answers to questions I haven't even realised I had yet. I'm not complaining thought - much better to find out now then just before the date!
For future reference, reds and oranges are not in the brown family. The reason why browns go with most clothes is because whenever you mix 2 opposite colors, like blue and orange, green and red, yellow and purple, etc you actually get brown. If anything browns more so fit in the category of neutral colors because they can literally be mixed with anything like black, white, and grey. The area where browns fit in on the color wheel are in the center.
I like to wear either dark jeans with a slightly lighter dress shoe, but not too much, just to draw eyes to the shoes. Then lighter jeans with darker shoes, once again just to draw eyes to the shoes. But all the right shade, colours & design. Because it then gets people interested subconsciously to check out what else is making up the outfit, shirt with the dress watch and your hair. Making sure it's all on point and highly presented. Whether you get compliments or not you can tell by the body language of people, that they find you interesting and well put together.

So basically do not wear Oxford shoes/boots with jeans. Color on the other part is a bit more flexible. Points that are well made in this video. Also, avoid heavily distressed jeans.

I like alot of the info ive rocked Brogues , loafers cap toe and 2 strapped in colors black , neutral wine & brown my jeans are tailored at the bottom with a slight break dark blue black medium blue.

Antonio, I've observed that in each video you are talking faster and faster. Please check your own videos and make a test by listening them in 0.75 or 0.90, then try to speak more in that kind of speed. The content is amazing but you're going too fast man! Great tips! Unfortunately, I just found oxblood shoes once (and bought them). Brazilian shoe stores aren't exactly adepts to chelseas or any color other than browns and black. And no Anson Belt here as well :( I personally loved the hint on the color wheel. Made me realize why it worked so well. Love it when you go into the science of style this way. Looking for more of this! :)

Dark denim works best in my opinion, and yes, as the previous commentor stated, jeans that are too long look terrible, I usually wear brown dress boots with dark denim that doesn't go lower than the ankle and a tighter fit works best, not skinny or slim fit, loose fit jeans just don't work, and not boot cut, the boot cut doesn't work with dress boots, a tapered cut looks far better

As a rule of thumb: if you're going to wear dress shoes with jeans -- the jeans should fit like dress slacks with a narrower leg opening, such as skinny jeans or slim-fit jeans. Straight-leg jeans may still be too baggy around the leg opening.
I’ve actually worn both Levi’s 511s and 505s dark wash with dress shoes, slim cut and regular cut. They both work fine, the leg openings are anywhere from 7 inches to 8 inches on both. What you don’t want is too long of an inseam, makes it look messy with all of the bunching.
I always wear dress shoes with Levi 501's...but not very often black. More often burgundy, brown, blue or green. Trickers Country Brogues look great and so do burgundy monks...
Hey Antonio love the video. But my issue is I have wide feet and find it difficult to find nice shoes that are for men with wide feet. So I have to go with the alligator nose shoes. Do you have any advise? Maybe you can make a part 2 to the video for men with wide feet.
Linen can go with suits too, yes? I thought that brogues ease movement like the quirks In gloves. If someone will go on a date, would they wear a normal suit or an evening tuxedo?

One point you didn't get into is length of the jeans. Too much length makes the jeans look baggier and less formal.

To me with a dress shoe you want the bottom of the leg to stop just below the ankle bone.

From Brooklyn NY we did this in the 1970’s. When I came to NC I considered dressed up with creased jeans, dress shoes and sport coat.
Heavy black shoes go well with dark jeans.

Hey Youssef. That depends on the occasion. A normal suit is fine - you might look out of place meeting a girl in a bar if you're dressed in a tuxedo!
