My feelings aren't mixed at all. I love this watch 100%. I love the color, the dial, the chrono element, the AP thickness, and the HUGE bonus is the T-Fit bracelet. It's a grand slam! 😊
I completely disagree my feelings have never a changed you should not have screw down pushers on a chronograph and lets face it this is a racing chronograph sister to the Daytona and both have screw down pushers, why? Incase we want to go swimming with it? Sorry the guy with the Heuer just lapped me cause I was too busy unscrewing my pushers 😂 so the point is it's a watch for people who want a chronograph for form over function a complete noobs watch IMO 👍 not trying to dig at you I love the look of this piece but yet again they've screwed it up literally!
I think of it the other way around. The screw down pushers are what makes it unique and functional as a daily watch that can be worn at the morning swim to the evening dinner.
How many times do you really need to do some "emergency timing" I don't get it? Most everyone is using it to time something cooking and that's about it! The screw down pushers is a lovely addition, for those that like playing with their watches its just something to mess about with. They look nice and they make it more secure as an everyday watch. Any watch with none screw down pusher really cant be swam with IMO. You catch a pusher on the side of the pool and you are done potentially.
Yeah its a Sunburst blue dial instead of Matte Blue like the Pelagos line. I have heard about the pusher on the crown. The watch is a beauty though, I doubt people will use the chronograph function nowadays and only go for the looks . Because if i buy one i probably won't be using the chrono functions and take it for a swim instead. I guess having the crown would be " better safe than sorry " kind of game.
Great video and great shots! Agreed on lot of your points. Tudor did the same thing with the BB Pro, 200m of wtr, could do with only a 100 and knock the thickness down just a tad. The color is killer, unfortunately just a tad too big for me.
2:27 This is NOT a Breitling movement. Kenissi produces movements for Tudor, Breitling, Norqain and others… The Kenissi factory is in the same building as the Tudor factory.
Suspect Tudor has a bunch of cases waiting to be assembled and sold. Lower demand requires market stimulation to offload the already manufactured cases. Makes sense they run a series of ‘editions’ to run down the existing stock, and then release a thinner model.
In my opinion the Black Bay Chrono is beautiful just as it is. It is an absolute eye-catcher just as it is. If you want a watch that is smaller, flatter, without a date and with less water resistance, you can go to another manufacturer. And get one of the most counterfeit watches there - or not 😉
Hi Vance. I actually did state 200m of water resistance a couple of times. The screw-down pushers are great for that, but I was simply stating my personal bias towards non-screw down pushers that can often offer 100m of WR (which I find more than enough for my daily use). Thanks for watching!
Good one there Abdullah. Personally I feel there's a lot of hype into this piece. But the pink is still the one to go for, due to its collectability. Having said that you need to have style pull it off.
I love this watch, in all colours. It will be a beautiful watch for so many people….just a little too big for me. Hoping there will be a slightly smaller version in the future.
I’ve got it also. It’s definitely thick, but I can easily pull it off with my size. No regrets about the purchase, but at the time I probably paid too much. They have plummeted in resale price.
If you don’t wanna unscrew the pushers every time, just leave them in the unscrewed position. It’s much more important to have screwdown pushers so you could have a fully functioning water resistant chronograph, then to not have them. Rolex has known this with the Daytona and now tutors following suit with the black bay
To be honest the screw down pushers are stupid. Sinn can make unscrewed pushers that can be operated at 500 meters. Unscrew them so it’s functional and you have may have no water resistance 😮 the speedmaster can go to 50m no problem and the Chrono function is always available. Nobody is going that deep anyway. Still it didn’t stop me ordering one this afternoon it’s too thick has silly hands for a chrono but I loved it 😂
@@steveiemcd the problem is with chronos that have huge water resistance is that those pushers are always susceptible to being pushed on accident, and it heavily limits the amount of impact water activities you can do and feel safe that water won’t get in through the unprotected pushers
I don’t think those pump pushers are ever going away in this type of model- it’s the successor to the Tudor Tiger chronographs and it’s just a part of the design language at this point. The chronograph you’re thinking of is a future remake of the Monte Carlo chronograph… when Kenissi makes their first in-house chrono movement.
It’s thick, long lug to lug, and top heavy - best to wait in the grey market until the hype goes down. Similar to how the white and black performed a year or two after it released. Tudor should really work on thinning out their movements and get rid of those slab sided cases like how they finally released the BB58 GMT movement.
I'm assuming you're wandering around KL or some such well-behaved place. Anyone waving a watch around on a crowded NY or London street would be asking for trouble ;)
its a great watch no doubt. But only selling it in tudor boutique for retail price isnt for me.. i mean for 2k more i can buy a rolex 41 Oyster prepetual and have it forever.
I need my watch to be water resistant, maybe it's just the point in life I'm in, but I need my watches to be able to do multiple things and serve multiple purposes. Great all around watch I prefer the black.
Would love to buy this, but Tudor made it a boutique only. I’m not willing to drive 10 hours to the nearest boutique. Sadly Tudor could care less about me.
I don’t understand why the Daytona is 12mm thick and this one is over 14mm. If they at least got is down to 13mm, this watch would dominate. The T-fit is an added bonus and the colors is beautiful, but still too thick.
This is the reason: Tudor uses a Breitling chronograph with Tudor tweaks. Until Tudor manufactures their own chronograph movement, thickness will continue to plague the chronograph line of Tudor watches
Waiting for the second generation of this watch with a Master Chronometer movement, under 13mm of thickness, under 47mm lug to lug, and under 41mm case size.
Naw it's mixed. I have 3 modern Tudors so Tudor lover here obviously. But Tudor's starting the get stale. The color variations and mix/merging of existing watches in their catalog to make things like Black Bay 58 GMT are starting to get a bit stale. The looking back into their archives and reimagining something new takes risks and boldness like what black bay pro used to represent. But those days are starting to become more distant. You can keep on talking about the hype of the newest Tudor releases. But the reality of is that not many are actually buying. I have the new Black Bay Burgundy 41 with Jubilee in a major US city, and I've seen literally NO ONE wear that watch. And I go to all the watch events and I'm the only one with this watch. That tells you something about the watch industry I think overall.
Its to thick, make a new movement thats thinner, also the lug to lug is to wide. How hard can it be, look at the owner Rolex. Use the daytona as inspiration. Jiiiizzzzzz
Wait...the Tudor Boutique has no control over when they will have more once the first stock is gone, ¡they are boutique for crying outloud! That´s an excuse for the AD, not them...same games. It´s a shame.

Water resistant is a must. Dudes that like these watches have pools and want to be able to jump in without a problem.

Great to see a nice review from Southeast Asia!
I wish they would make this watch 39mm and thiner with a smaller lug width too; make the round hour markers square and itll be just amazing 🌟
I wonder why there are no rolex sub chrono? Tudor just cheapens the brand
Might just need a bigger wrist
Did Tudor did a refinish on case? Or slimmer down or it’s the bloquee tick watch?
Loved the review my friend.. the intro was amazing in particular! Way to go!
I’m thinking of going for a Panerai blue dial gmt luminor but it’s twice the price of this but it has 30 bar ,but this looks nice, thanks ❤️👍🏴
Suspect Tudor has a bunch of cases waiting to be assembled and sold. Lower demand requires market stimulation to offload the already manufactured cases. Makes sense they run a series of ‘editions’ to run down the existing stock, and then release a thinner model.
Been wanting to see how this looks in person. Don't know if I want this or a pelagos
Great video as always. Totally agree with you on the screw down pushers. As for the dial, I prefer if it was more matte like the BB58.
I have the opportunity to purchse this watch do I go for it?
Great video brother, you elevated your quality to another level with this one 👏
Thank you so much Miguel! 😄🙌

Thanks for the review, really impressive production quality!
You state only 50m of water resistance, but the Tudor web site states 200m. 200m makes more sense with the screw down chrono pushers

I want that new bracelet for my black dial.
Get Uncle Seiko jubilee and then with the original Tudor clasp. I just got one for my black BB chrono
No faux rivets!!! Please tell me Tudor is putting that "stylistic" touch behind them. Really intriguing timepiece. Great video, just subscribed.

Great video! Well done Abdullah. Excellent content. I have this watch but the black dial. It's nice but too thick.
I’ve got it also. It’s definitely thick, but I can easily pull it off with my size. No regrets about the purchase, but at the time I probably paid too much. They have plummeted in resale price.
Why did you buy it then if you're going to moan about the thickness?

Sweeet! Love the video, love the watch and love the vibe! 🔥🔥🔥
❤ love your vids man. Cheers from Singapore. ( ❤ from awesome wristwatch reviews )
Because of the glass box carrera I have mixed feeling about all chronos
Damn, got the white dial version which I love but this looks killer with the jubilee style strap
Love the video. Low-key was hoping for a clip of the merdeka fireworks in the end tho 😂
Really great watch❤😊
Great videography brother. Love the Tudor blue, but this chrono is too bulky for me. I prefer the Daytona proportions.
Love the watch. Wish it was thinner.
Agree re water resistance. Not a dive watch so 100m+ WR not necessary.

Get a girls watch
They will never be able to thin their cases due to the crappy breitling movements they use.
@@SB-Kiwi Nah my Explorer II Polar and Zenith Defy Extreme diver are pretty good for me thanks.
@@josephs.7496 crappy? 🤦🏽
@@josephs.7496 Yeah it would be good if they could make their own chronograph movement, but then that would spike up the price.
I like the content, have make an citizen promaster solar diver watch review bro
totally agreed
I’ve asked Tudor harrods if I can buy one , they said I will go on their list , maybe I’ll call your people 😊
almost thought you were at orchard damn, great video as usual

I ❤️Tudor
I need my watch to be water resistant, maybe it's just the point in life I'm in, but I need my watches to be able to do multiple things and serve multiple purposes. Great all around watch I prefer the black.
Nice piece tbh. No boutique in my country hence I likely will never see it in real.
LOVE IT!!! Thank you
Price?
£4890 UK £😮
its not based on breitlings movement , IT IS Breitlings movement .
Nah, they add stuffs like silicon spring bar. It’s a collaboration. So “based on” is literally right
Ouuuu this is beautiful!
Would love to buy this, but Tudor made it a boutique only. I’m not willing to drive 10 hours to the nearest boutique. Sadly Tudor could care less about me.
Mabrouk Brother, stay healthy. Nice video
Lets go! Love from Denmark!
This is in no way the same blue. Do you have a sunburst pie pan BB58 blue?!
Roberts Place
You can’t complain when you only borrowed the watch you are reviewing! 😂
The solution. Get a Zenith chrono.
Zenith chrono is FAR superior

All down to the movement- the Daytona is in house designed to be thinner.
What exactly do you need to time where you don't have five seconds to open the pushers???
If it just had the size of a Daytona...saved money :)
Waiting for the second generation of this watch with a Master Chronometer movement, under 13mm of thickness, under 47mm lug to lug, and under 41mm case size.

Think Tudor boutiques in the UK are Watches of Switzerland so Goldsmiths really 🤔
Tudor chronograph watch buttons are way too big which is why I won't buy one.
Aluminum bezel at this price. No thanks!
