Ive had my BB Pro for 2yrs now and absolutely love it..minus the thickness. I deal with the public a lot and wear tactical gear so I don’t wear it much unless its the weekend or a holiday
Awesome video! This reminds me of when I added my Submariner ref 7928 Gilt Dial circa to my vintage collection back in 2003. It was a challenge purchasing from an AD then. Now, I'm going to do some research to find out its current worth. As a collector, I see my watches as investments, and I'm curious to see how much this one has appreciated.
Great that will fetch you some cash. I use to own that watch when i used to be a collector, but I liquidated my collection to venture into real estate. In January, I acquired homes in Malibu for $45million, and the returns on investment far exceed what I earned as a collector.
How did you grow your portfolio to $45m, I'm impressed, I have a lump sum in the bank, the rates are not impressive so I'm moving it, what's your cash flow like?
I have a financial advisor (trader) she grows my liquid assets and I reinvest the weekly payouts back into real estate and long-term ETFs like VOO and SCHD. I have also started acquiring some tech ETFs, including IITU and IUCM.
I own this watch in the configuration that you have yours now and I love it. The micro adjustment is a nice feature. I have a couple other Tudor watches and I wish they had the same clasp. I also love that the Pro is really robust. The watch sees a fair amount of abuse and it has not skipped a beat. I enjoyed your review.
that was incredible. what a beautiful watch and what great work you did on it!I love AMZWATCH watch!! Dream watch! Everytime I wear it, makes me feel amazing!
Be careful what you wish for with the Exp II as I own both these watches. Whilst slimmer it is a much larger watch and is also heavy to wear. You don’t have the T Fit clasp so unless you can get a perfect fit it is a big lump to have dangling around on your wrist bone. I have a bigger wrist than yours so it’s ok but you can’t size it perfectly like the BB Pro. I honestly don’t think the Explorer II is much /any better than the BB Pro all things considered, Tudor absolutely nailed it with this watch. Yes, it would be better if it were slimmer for sure.
This watch is not as good with the thickness considering there is Tudor gmt movements in slimmer cases. All brands make their watch with imperfections so that they have something to sell you next time
Thank you for your veracious thoughts. I bought one for my wife‘s birthday in january. The look inspite the thikness is sensational. Unfortunately it doesn’t fit my 21cm wrist. So, the Rolex Explorer II 226570 would be my next hit but in the more underated black colour ! 😉
I sold a speedy and bb58 and was going to get this and a GS but in the end went for a polar explorer 2 16570, im really glad i did. This is a great video though
I dropped my BB58 not too long ago on a hard bathroom tile floor. My first reaction was to panic, and it was all i thought about for the next few days afterwards. But honestly it's running perfect. I keep track of all my mechanical watches accuracys and this one is damn near ±0 spd. Some days it'll gain a second, others it'll lose a second, but its proven to be extremely reliable. It's honestly incredible
Hi Great video and great watch… before your next purchase, do have a hands on look at the Tudor Pelagos FXD GMT … I love mine, I use Bark & Jack NATO straps with it…
So I own both the Black Pro and the Rolex Explorer 2 42mm version and the older 16570 ref along with Tudor 58 GMT. My advice is get the older Rolex Explorer 2 with the 40mm case is the one you want to get. The 42mm in my opinion is just too big on the current Explorer unless you have a really big wrists. The 58 GMT is not bad either if you something thinner and still from Tudor. Great video The Pro is a great watch.
As a long term BB Pro owner (2 years +) I can certainly say it is one of the best watches offered by Tudor and hands-down the best GMT in their collection. I also own the GMT Master II Rootbeer and find the Pro better to wear, honestly! I do have a 7 inch wrist size, which may account for something, but I actually enjoy the thickness; it adds presence to the watch and makes it feel bullet-proof. Like some others have mentioned; be aware of the much larger wrist presence of the Exp 2, you may find it a tad too large!
Your videos make me realize the Black Bay Pro is what the Rolex Explorer was meant to be. So curious how you feel when you get the Explorer 2. Better make a video about it ;) 💫💫💫
I own the Black Bay 54 and now tbh for the same price I'm really eying this watch because I love the tool spect of it. And btw I tried the latest explorer II I also have about the same wrist as you and I hated it, for me the one to get is the 16570, don't get me wrong I love the design and orange hand, but the watch is too big at 42mm.
I also have 6.5 inch wrists and really wanted to get the explorer 2. Then I tried both white dial and black dial versions and it looked like a dinner plate on my wrist. Ended up trading the BB Pro for the BB58 GMT. The fit of that for me is fantastic compared to the Pro (which is still one hell of a good watch).
I got the pro in Sep 2022 and then traded it in with a cartier tank must large to get the explorer 36. The thickness and weight of the Pro got to me over time on my similar sized wrist. I also realized I never used the GMT function and would rather trade up to the goat of explorer watches with that classic iconic 3-6-9 dial in a much better weight and size for my wrist.
Better than explorer two. Clasp is better and 200m! Better visibility with black face. Hold on it to it. You have a better watch than the polar explorer two. I have both.
If they make this 12.8mm thick like the BB58 GMT and metas certified I will drive thru my ADs front window to buy one. I own the 16570 Exp 2 and the BBPro is too thick for me. Otherwise it’s great.
Biggest downside of the Explorer 2 is the clasp - no glidelock like the sub. Tudor adding its t-fit to most bracelets is a big win. I've thought about the EX2 alot but really want an adjustable clasp.
Fantastic vid K! The BBpro looks likes it fits hour wrist well. I have 6.5 wrist as well, the Explorer 2 is 50mm lug to lug, it wears large and with the bracelet it is noticeably heavy. I wear mine on Artem Hydroflex straps and that is a dream combo in my opinion. I haven’t seen my bracelet in months. But it’s there if want it 😅
Sorry to hear you watch hit the floor. might be your omega getting angry at your Tudor and causing an "accident". I think going forward Tudor is going to make thinner watches and more METAS. The Tudor Black Bay 58 GMT "Coke" is 12.8 millimeters thick.
It’s way too thick. There’s no excuse for that too. There are watches for 500€ with a mechanical gmt movement in it with less than 13 mm in height. The glycine airman is 11,xx mm thin at way under 1k. Il buy it when it gets an update with less than 12,5mm in case height
A hike video to celebrate 1 year use? How about just everyday living and working in whatever job you go to everyday. For a year. That's more realistic.
I hope you dont take this the wrong way, but I can almost garantee you that In a couple of years you will look back on video/images of this watch on your wrist and think: why in the world did i wear watches that large before. No offense, I like your channel. Nice watch also
They are nice watches but unfortunately do not hold their value so I would never buy one from the AD. If you want to have a watch and not planning on selling it in the future Tudors are great.

Sure it's all about DCA, could you please share her name with me or any details so I can look her up online? Thanks!
Yeah, Jennifer Kristie Taylor use her name to look her up.

My favorite watch channel without a doubt.I’m happy to spend my money on MAMACOO watches. I’ve never been let down by their products

The 42mm Explorer II might be a tad big for your wrist size. Maybe if you can find a 16570 Polar (40mm), it might be a good alternative.
I was gonna buy a bb pro and a GS, but in the end went for a polar 16570. It's my favourite watch ever.
@@acethis100% 16570 is awesome 👌
Great recap of 1yr ownership of a killer watch. Thanks for the 3stars, too!
Thank you for your veracious thoughts.

Always a good day when your video drops!Great video as always. Can’t beat it for MAMACOO watches!
Thanks for your sharing. I would love the new Pelagos FXD GMT as it is 3 time zones and METAS certified.

Im so glad I bought this on rep for a tenth of the price.

need this piece
great vid man!
Absolutely love the watch. Just wish it was so thick
I am lucky I got this one as my first expensive watch. I've had for 3 month and every day i love it more.
I totally have a similar feel towards this watch too. Huge amount of wrist time, as with the thickness doesn’t really bother me at all.
Great video!
It always amazes me how much beauty and precision are added to the parts of AMZWATCH's watch 99% of people will never see.
MAMACOO has set a new standard for replica watches. Their craftsmanship is impeccable. Its hard to tell the difference from the originals
It is the thickness that protects movements from the shock.
Thanks for the 3 starts

Sharp watch, dude.

Black Bay Pro is an outstanding watch. No need the white dial explorer 2
Thanks for the gold stars!

Dude, if the BB pro wears like a 40, the Explorer 2 will feel like a 44.
It’s a very big watch.
Explorer 2 in 39mm would be perfect.
Fantastic vid K!

Appreciate it brother! Love your content keep it coming 🔥

😂 my Omega is definitely jealous
As a broke boy and actual enthusiast who wants watch’s prices to crater, MAMACOO is a good choice.
Remember Rolex doesn't like producing vintage looking watches, Tudor does!
Get a preowned polar 16570 instead of the 226570
I believe no man can say no to AMZWATCH's watches
When are you making a watch based instagram?
@jayscobble 👀
Thickness is the biggest negative for me. Tudor just got a new GMT movement. I bet it will land in the Pro shortly.
I would absolutely buy it if it weren't so thick
It's not thick. It's Thicc!

Great watch for

Should get an explorer poor boy. Also, you have the tiniest little baby wrists. Lol
You’re literally his biggest hater. Please… explain, in great detail, what he did to you? Genuinely curious.
They are nice watches but unfortunately do not hold their value so I would never buy one from the AD. If you want to have a watch and not planning on selling it in the future Tudors are great.
