So what should motivate me to buy a Bremont? It's not just that the manufacturer hardly has any history of its own. That's not a bad thing. Every watch manufacturer has had no history or tradition of its own at some point. But I still don't see any DNA, no common thread, no reputation at Bremont, and above all, I don't see any that are being built up. The H1 series was quietly and secretly scrapped with the Supernova without any comment. THAT'S NOT how you build tradition and reputation.

My favorite is my GS SBGA467. Deep, glossy black with a subtle sunray

Tissot, GS, Seiko and omega have no Tfit on their watches. Even micro brands have them.

The Longines is the lamest design. Why make a dive watch with out a rotating bezel? I love everything about the Seiko except its unadjusted movement. At $1300 what is their excuse for not making an accurate watch. A $10 Casio is more accurate.

Black watches are the staple of all watches . They're the best. Until you owned for about more than 10. Eventually every black watches you own will end up looking the same lmao.

Longines & Oris both make great watches. I have yet to own a Longines, yet I do have two Oris watches which I truly enjoy. Buy what you like!

Giant? I thought it was but sadly it’s only 42mm, that’s the Omega Moonwatch and pretty much every standard watch. That’s not a giant, Panerai makes giants. I wish this watch was at least 44mm.

I´m a male and a proud member of the itty bitty wrist committee, and found the Kermit way to big, but i really liked the design of it... This could have solved all of my problems with the old one, but unfortunately Oris has fallen into the the classic watchmaker trap, when making a smaller watch, by offer less... in the form of no date (my old 36 mm Seiko SKX has a DAY/DATE, 200 WR) and PR here, making it to "girly" with pink, "diamond" and from the look of the video making it super hard to make out the hour markings, and i need to see the hour markings or I cant tell the time ;) To Oris: make it with a different color dial and drop the "diamond" but is does make it more readable

There are a number of problems, firstly the Miss piggy thing could have been so much better they could’ve followed the Kermit example and had her appear on the first of the month with an engraving of her on the back of the watch. Some girls will like this style but it’s expensive with the movement they are using and unless you are taken by the concept you can buy a lot of other really good pink watches for that money.

Something is off with Oris lately. These releases are far cry from the norm. Disappointing

I like that Oris is continuing the muppet editions and really don’t know what I’ll do when a Fozzy comes out. I will probably get that one. Or a Gonzo would be interesting!

I was actually one of the few big fans of the original Propilot X. It just feels great on the wrist, the watch is identifiable from across the room (if you're a WIS), it has a completely unique design language with the bezel, the bracelet, etc. and the 10 year warranty on the new caliber is just well worth the price. The Kermit I thought would sell well, but it wasn't for me, as I'm too young to have ever watched the muppets. This Piggy watch seems like it won't sell well though, imo. Oris isn't on women's radar, tbf. This watch isn't really going to get them there either. With the way the pink dial and the pink indices are colored it just doesn't look luxury, quiet or flashy. I'd love to be proven wrong, but I think this is a great idea, poor execution type thing. I do think going with the cheaper movement and lowering the price is a good thing for a women's watch though. Women generally are smarter than us and see the watches as jewelry and don't obsess over the gears inside which are less accurate than a mickey mouse watch, lol! Anyways, great video. Your wife seems very sweet. Thanks for sharing!

Funny... I watched the video and when it was finished, I got an email from Oris saying the Miss Piggy watch was out... Perfect timing I guess! Now, I just want the Big Bird version with the yellow dial in a larger case, like 44mmm... LOL

MASSIVE mistake aiming this at women!!! All of the Kermit buyers (mostly men) would have bought this. Not now though!

I think they are taking their inspiration from TIMEX . I would prefer Oscar the grouch who lives in the Garbage Can instead. Look at the end of the day, it is a novelty watch but way way way too overpriced and I wouldn't buy it. The Oris big crown is what I would buy.

The oris Kermit wears too big. . So this one could be a hit . Still a miss opportunity. Miss piggy should have a day window. At six . I still would leave the diamond. Maybe the pink is a bit too pink. But it could be a hit for people with smaller wrists.. Oris should cater for everyone and pay attention to people with smaller wrists...

I think I understand Oris 's concept about this watch. They want to save our money with the simple movement :-)
