    I just became a vegan because of kidney disease. I am really trying to do everything I can to keep the disease at bay. Learning how to cook vegetables for your health has been a challenge. RUclips video has been a godsend to me. I am so pleased with all the information I have garnered. I have made this stir fry and it was yummy. What you said about letting the flavor of the vegetables shine through with the proper technique was an eye opener. Thank you so much for sharing 🙏🤗

    Thank you so much for your videos!! You are a thorough and thoughtful teacher! I can tell that you put a lot of effort into conveying your ideas so that others can easily follow. I very much enjoy your videos, and hope you continue on. One thing that I really appreciate is you showing us how you accomplish a stir-fry with a typical electric-coil stove top, which I didn't think was possible. I've never seen the trick of waiting for the coil to get red-hot. May I ask what kind of wok you use? Specifically if it is carbon steel, cast iron, or something else? I have a similar stove top, but I haven't purchased a wok yet.

      Thank you!
      After I moved to US, I have to learn to cook a traditional Chinese stir-fry with electric cooktop which not common in China at all. It took a while for me to get here today. Stir-fry is an art of ingredients, flavors and heat. So I am trying my best to explain how these things work together and how they affect a dish. The wok I am using is cast iron. It can be a really long talk about wok selection. I will make a video to explain that later. Don't forget to come back and check.

      What is the trick to growing bok choy? I started from seed in early spring and got nothing but healthy looking plants that immediately bolted. Nice yellow flowers and seed pods but nothing to eat. What did I do wrong? This was my first attempt. I love Bok Choy all the seeds germinated. Help thanks.

    • @Kevskiok
      @Kevskiok 5 лет назад

      @@GUMBEE048 I had a packet of salad leaves (cut'n'come again) and sowed some in the greenhouse. I noticed that some of them looked like little bok choy. So I picked them and then potted them on and kept them well watered on a shelf in the greenhouse. The weather wasn't great but they grew well. Then it turned sunny and some that were left, did, bolt quite quickly. Top'n'bottom of it is....i bought some bok choy seeds to try and grow. So thay will be sown over the next few days. I have found quite a few garden vegetables that bolt before you know it. Chard is another and spinach I have found bolt quickly, for me. We live and learn....just have to research any ways to stop veggies bolting quickly, if there are any ways?

      Thank you for your feedback! I am so glad you enjoyed this recipe! Adding salt when stir frying will force the water come out from vegetables. So if you don't want the water out too much, add salt in the end. 😊
