I’ve only ever had cats and dogs so meeting a big friendly lizard was cool.
Parrots are highly social animals.
2:10 He was like "Yeaaaah, that's it!"
Sweet little Paco. No matter what species you have for a pet it is essential to give them the right diet, care, love and kind attention. Vet visits are always part of the care.
That bird was super sweet. There's something very touching about elder animals that allow you to be close to them.
I know nothing about bird keeping, but RUclips decided I should watch this anyway. And now I know a little more about bird care (like that their beaks keep growing). He seemed to really enjoy the scritches and appreciate your work, what a sweet boy!
Exactly what happened to me! And I am so glad youtube does something good from time to time! But its really horrible, I mean... How could the previous owner let it go THAT far?? Thank you for taking care of him
Yeah same, I know nothing. I just find them very cute.
What a sweet boy. Not being able to close his mouth for so long had to be so uncomfortable for him. Despite his age and unfortunate years of neglect, I hope he gets many years of proper care and love
What a very happy old guy! He definitely trusted you right from the start. You didn’t just help one bird, you spread accurate information and the deep joy that comes from helping others of any species. Liked, subscribed and shared! ❤️
Indeed
What a trooper! So patient and nice even with scary tools in his face. Awesome job being gentle and reassurring with this sweet lil' guy! :D
That bird knows you are helping him. What a lovely job you've done. He's enjoying the attention bless him.
I am so glad that Paco's new caretaker was prompt in bringing him to get his overgrowth issues corrected! You can tell that he knew you were helping him,& loved the attention that surely made him feel so much better! Thank you.❤💕🙏
He's so sweet! There's no way he doesn't understand that you're helping him. What a kind little soul
Omg when he's getting preened at 5:23 that's when you see the real bliss on his face 😭 all those itchy tubes scritched!
What a guy, just chilling there because he knows he's being taken care of. Smart bird
THANK YOU FOR GETTING HIS PIN FEATHERS!!! I imagine it's like having loose scabs constantly tickling and itching. He looked sooooo happy to get those GONE 💖😭💖
I love seeing him test the new feeling in his beak after each use of the clippers! He's just like, "huh. Yeah. That feels nice! Mlem mlem mlem" 😂❤
Thank you for helping this sweet sweet bird ❤
As a dog groomer who regularly has to gently and slowly fix up extremely neglected dogs, it's so interesting to see the similarities and differences between the two processes of rehabilitating the two species. I'm so glad paco wasn't too stressed during the process, as i imagine some birds might be. This was such a lovely and educational video to watch, thanks for sharing.
We need an update about Paco and his new living situation
This made me cry tears of happy for that sweet old soul ❤️
This was so interesting and heart-warming!
What a sweet little guy! His beak looks amazing, thank you for doing this!!
You are the kind of human being that gives me hope, happiness and proof that there are beautiful people around the world so THANK YOU, you angel
Paco breaks my heart, but I'm so glad he's in good hands now.
A fantastic transformation. I have never seen this done before as I've never seen a parrot in that condition. I think you got a new admirer in Paco.
💚Enjoy your new beginning with your new human flock, Paco! Thank you to person who inherited this lovely soul and to the vet who did such a wonderful job comforting while restoring Paco’s beak and feet.🙏
Thank you for helping Paco. He is a cutie pie ❤❤❤
not me crying at paco being so trusting and obviously relieved after getting his beak restored 😭💖
What a great video. I learned a lot and I was so happy to see the bird get relief. God bless you!
He seems very happy to get all this attention.
The thumbnail alone brought me to tears in less than a second. THANK YOU FOR HELPING THIS SWEET BIRD!!!!
If anyone still doubts the intelligence of these beautiful birds, this video will teach them otherwise. This parrot understood that he was being helped, I guarantee it. The absolute trust and relaxation on display during the whole process is proof of that, not to mention that look of adoration and gratefulness.
A testament to how wise these precious little souls are, he most certainly knew you were there to help. Even though he was supposedly prone to being aggressive he was such a sweetheart, it had me tearing up.
Omagosh. To remove the keratin dusk I blew on the screen. Guess I got a little involved. Sweet boy.
@@dunscotus01 🤣
I bet you talk with your hands when you talk on the phone too. 😁
This is so sweet. ❤
Aw ❤
Wow he looks so much better. It was do endearing his much he seemed to enjoy the attention. What a lovely chap Paco is.
I love Paco!!! Animals are such a great judge of character.... he knew he was safe with you and could trust you.... He looked beautiful!!
Hitler had a dog that liked him. Cut the BS with "AIMaLs aRe SuCh GrEaT jUdGe of ChaRaCtEr".
That's lame and stupid.
As a parrot owner... thank you.. they way he opened up to you, you could see he needed help, and he saw and trusted you, just.. thank you :)
He probably thinks he's in heaven with his spa day. He'll be able to eat and the preening he was really enjoying that. The way he looked when he came to you, no wonder he was a grouchy bird. He couldn't close his mouth, because his beak was so long. His nails were too long, I'm surprised he could walk or perch at all. God Bless you for helping that poor baby.
Just like people and dogs or cats in that sense
I truly feel a "choked up" sense of happiness for Paco... He needed the LOVE as well as the care.
I don't own a bird, never have, and probably never will, but I really appreciate this video. Your skills are admirable. Thank you
How wonderful that you have this talented skill to help this sweet old man💚
How he trusts you is so heartwarming.
😢 This breaks my heart. So grateful you helped him.
!Guauu!
!You made a difference for that lovely parrot!
!You are an angel!
I fell so good after seen your video,
I also clip my all dog’s nails.. and use one of those..
!Thank you for sharing it with me.!🙏🏼
God bless you a lot!.
Bless you for making such a huge difference to that dear little parrot's quality of life.
He truly seems so sweet. His determination to step up and get close to you was adorable.
Ooh wauw, just an image of a weird looking beak and 8:34 minutes later i learned things i didn't know. Thank you.
Paco is a very sweet bird, as others have said. He needed gentle handling, which he got, so there was no aggression. He seemed to know he was "at the doctor's" and would soon feel better! 😄
Lovely to see..
Major work doing this lady! He also enjoyed you working on the pins. He is thinking this is his lucky day. How wonderful.
I left you a HUGE "like" (if that is possible!) Thank you for being so caring and gentle with these wonderful beings that are birds, especially the parrot family who are so smart. Paco was so well behaved and it looked like he was craving that interaction with another being, be it a human or a feathered friend. Who knows for how long he'd been suffering without being able to close his beak properly. Again, I can't thank you enough for doing what you do; and, in this particular case, for dear Paco.
Thank you for taking care of Paco, I can see a huge difference
I'd love to see you take care of more birds! I learnt a lot through this video
Jesus, 1 minute 30 in, and my eyes are leaking. What a sweet heart. He is SUCH a good boy! I had no idea that you had to (potentially) groom captive parrots beaks, and I had no idea they were like our fingernails.
@@siobhanrose1680 I'm constantly astonished at all the weird stuff on domestic animals that gets trimmed! Is it llamas that get their teeth trimmed? I think it is.
I think it goes for any little arboreal dudes that evolved to eat seeds and nuts and bark in the wild, squirrels also have to have teeth trimmed if they’re fed too much soft unshelled nuts and seed.

Rodents teeth grow as well.@@toshaville
I don’t know how I ended up here, but I’m happy I did. What a joy watching you give care and attention to this little bird friend. Bless your heart.
I’m a vet tech but I’ve never really worked with birds before. This was so heartwarming
You are so kind and gentle to Paco. Thank you for sharing his story. I loved watching you correct his beak and other issues. Your care for him is excellent 💯
I didn’t think I’d watch a parrot dentist this morning but this is a really sweet video 🥺
Wow ! I’ve never heard or conceived something like this! Bless you for your talent, it’s a beautiful thing!
Sehr sensibel und proffessionel gehandhabt . Ein lieber und dankbarer Vogel . Super .❤
Paco was amazingly chill and patient. Almost seemed sedated. So sweet, with a happy ending.
What an utter angel, talk about being well behaved!!! And what a beauty he ended out as afterwards too!!! He will probably love her forever, the lady who took his ouchy beak away and made life so much easier for him!!! She even polished it so it became nice and shiny!!! Bless you all!!! 🤗 ❤️🩷🧡
My gosh you are a wonderful human being 🙆♀️ What amazingly good care you gave to Paco ❤
His trust in you is delightful
I'm crying. thank you so so so much for your kind heart and desire to be gentle and heal.
Looks like his new caretakers are prepared to look after him well. He really relaxed during the procedures and looked so happy at the end.😊
Thank you so much for the love and care you have given Paco and I hope his family adores him to❤😂😊🦜💚💛🧡🤗💋🥰
He is trusting you, he knows your really helping him. What a wonderful boy. Now he can eat much better. Thank you so much.
I won’t lie, I accidentally clicked on this. Within the first 10 seconds, I was enchanted.
You are a genius with these creatures, you know them so well and the way they respond to you is heartbreaking, I am in awe.
Thank you. Im glad you found me here
I absolutely love parrots. We have a rescue. She is a beautiful African grey. She is my baby!
You were literally a life changer for that sweet precious bird. Amazing the bond you two immediately had. It was sweet to watch.
You can tell how greatful he is, I hope you educate the new owners. Bless you x
My gosh hes such a good boy. What a gentleman. Seeing him all fixed makes me happy
It makes me glad seeing that there are people who care so deeply for birds. You can see how comforting this was for Paco and it clearly made a big difference for him!! Wishing him a good life
Solid 1:30am algorithm pull.
But you seem to have a heart of gold, and definitely know how to help these animals. Thanks for sharing!
Oh thank you so much for taking care of poor Paco, he'll feel much better now... it was a wonderful spa day! 💖
This just shows how smart parrots really are. They know they're getting help, and are even helping out themselves by not being aggressive, for one.
Such a wonderful lady to take care of this beautiful bird….
