To me having played both back to back is that Calisto seems like a heavier slower game. Isaac walks as fast as the main character for Calisto runs. The camera pan is slower and the character perspective is farther out and way better in dead space. It made it a slower sluggish experience in Calisto in my opinion. It's 70$, and it's well worth the price
laughs in steam where its $60
Lol damn y'all just shitting on Scofield like this? 🤣🤣🤣
Who knew the spiritual successor to Dead Space was Dead Space.
Calisto protocol differerence is nex gen game while dead space is ps4 game
Callisto was badass just short
"One can only wonder how he's feeling now"... or, you could interview him for your story?
I'd never say that Callisto Protocol was built by the original Dead Space blokes. The game is just hot garbage every way you look at it with the exception of the graphics. But then again it's laggy as hell because of that, so yeah.
It's clear that "Original creators of Dead Space" in CP weren't important members of the original DS creative team. You know this type of person exists in your company. Or, maybe the publisher didn't allow them to anything they wanted.
Either ways, great imagination and sense of humor that separated DS from other so-called horror games are completely racking from CP.
You know, a jump-scare scene won't work if you didn't have a sense of humor. A gore scene would just trigger disgust if viewers weren't charmed by imaginative settings.
Callisto had promise but lacked depth , it was way too rushed and the Alien pathogen is way overused as a concept
IT'S (NECRO)MORPHIN TIME!!
Mom, can we have Dead Space ?
No, there is Dead Space at home.
At home ... ... ... oh right, he's in jail.
Dead Space certainly don't beat Callisto Protocols visuals....sorry
Comparing dead space to callisto is such a smooth brain thing
Both play differently that's like Comparing Legos to minecraft
But both where done by the original director and team of dead space and callisto was rush because of fear of the dead space remake. Like it or not it's getting compared and a lesson why you shouldn't bet everything because it's the original director and team.
Come on ign, they’re already down
Callisto is like a cheat code version of DeadSpace.
To me having played both back to back is that Calisto seems like a heavier slower game. Isaac walks as fast as the main character for Calisto runs. The camera pan is slower and the character perspective is farther out and way better in dead space. It made it a slower sluggish experience in Calisto in my opinion. They should of also had more of a variety of enemies. The whole melee as the main way of combat added to the game feeling slower and sluggish. Calisto should of been $39.99 at best in my opinion. Definitely not $70
Dead Space has same number of enemies, but no one complains...Both are great and worth the 70 bucks
@@frankbasile3662 not even close to true. CP doesnt have the level design, enemy design, gun design etc etc etc not to mention the better art and environment design in dead space. theres the same number of enemies in dead space but not all of them are boring humanoid oatmeal ppl like protocol.
@@frankbasile3662 Not exactly, and especially not true considering how the enhanced versions work and how combat flow is concerned. Callisto Protocol uses its mobs as one-dimensional fodder while Necromorphs are recognizable because they serve specific purposes during combat which makes you think a little smarter and consider your options. That's not even accounting the fact there is one specific enemy that turns your greatest asset into a deadlier threat making everything more frantic with all the chaos going on in each arena.
Looking forward to buying both Callisto and dead space remake $20 each in Christmas
You think they will actually be $20?
Looking forward to people reacting shocked angry and surprised because everybody bought it at a discount and there wont be sequels. Like with alien isolation lol.
Callistop isn't worth 20. It's 5$ max.
@@cirescythe Alien isolation was more the Media who killed it tbh
Dead space is an game from 2008...
And it is still great, better than 2022's The Callisto Protocol. 2023's Dead Space is also awesome.
Resident evil 2 is a game from 1998 and still my top 3 games of all time. What's ur point
@@BenjaMan64 the og is not better than cp ur just crazy if u think that
we get it… Dead Space is better..
It’s official if IGN says it
Space RE4 and Bigot Wizard game. This month is gonna be lit!
callisto eats dead space for breakfast
Dead Space Remake >>>>> Calshitsto Protocol
For starters Callisto Protocol’s campaign is waaaaaaaaay too short. It’s a great game though..
Nothing great about it. Beyond mediocre in every possible way.
@@RenegadeJames If you know what you're doing, sure.
Apparently the Dead Space remake still under sold less than half of the copies that The Callisto Protocol sold, though.
It's next generation only, shot themselves in the foot. Had to have ray tracing
To be fair it was released near Christmas and it was on ps4 and Xbox one as well
Callisto has been out for months. Dead Space hasn't even been out for a week.
Collisto Protical was a better game than dead space to me. Dead Space felt like you know "dead space". Don't get me wrong it was great when it launched years ago but Collisto is definitely a better game in today's environment.
