Moto Horn install on Harley Davidson 2003 Electra Glide

Definitely not as loud as advertised. The company video sounds like a semi truck horn

they have some that are air driven like a semi truck horn this is not that one.

@@1967res I did put both horns together at one point and it was loud. The 2 horns are at different hertz so it gives that distinct sound. I got a another horn so I'm gonna try to put it on and have all 3 going that will be crazy if I get that to work.

I like my two chrome horns I bought from Motohorn , but,,, Their advertisement uses the air horn version #2 SOUND for the sound these are supposed to give in their advertisements. I like the horn but don't get duped into believing that BullSh$t

Install a 40A relay to get full current to the horns and they will be louder.

I’m waiting for mine to come in the mail. I thought the idea was to use both horns together? That’s what I’m planning on doing. They say you can even the old one as well.

You can use both. I chose not to because one fit into the old stock location and it hooked up to factory wires. I did hook both up and tried them they are loud the reason the sound they way they do is because they are at different hertz. I just did the one mainly because the factory one didn't work at all.

So the bottom line in your video is to just get a new stockhorn. I bought the horn But in order to get the effect of both horns I have to set up some type of relay to make both horns work. My head is about to explode as I try to figure it out. The first horn works fine and it's loud but nothing like the demo you hear online. Kind of disappointed. Should be a much simpler installation to get the effect of both horns.

Yeah the company is a scam company none of their horns sound like the videos even with relays. $70 lesson learned save your money
