I have been a Madonna fan from the start and by far this is Madonna's best album and was the best tour Madonna at her very best. I am hoping her new album with Stewart Price is as good as coadf fingers crossed

I don’t remember all of the songs samples but for example, Forbidden Love contains sample from Visage - Fade To Grey, Future Lovers contains I Feel Love (also she sang this in the Confessions Tour), Jump contains sample from West End Girl of Pet Shop Boys. Let it will be is sampled from Papa Don’t Preach, Sorry contains Can You Feel It from Jackson 5, Get Together samples Music Sounds Better with You…, and there’s more but I don’t remember all
If you like Confessions On A Dance Floor then you should get into her other albums like Music because it’s completely different from this one and I think you’ll enjoy it.

If you’re planning on doing three albums for Madonna to start, this was a good one. I’d recommend Erotica and maybe Bedtime Stories for the other two. Hard Candy is okay. It’s not her best but it’s not her worse. Stay away from MDNA, trust me. lol. The last two songs were demos that never made the final album and I don’t think were released anywhere, not bonus tracks.

You need to go back to discover her amazing artistry. Like Ray of Light, Erotica, bedtime stories, Madonna (1983), True Blue... NOT Hard Candy or MDNA. Those aren't so good.
I like Hard Candy… it’s better than people give it credit… thought the JT collabs are the crap she should have cut. MDNA is unspeakably bad. I also never got into Rebel Heart but I know it has its fans. Madame X isn’t cohesive, but there are moments of brilliance on it.
Back then, you go to different records stores that specialized in selling singles, many of them included songs released internationally but not in the US. Then you ripped that single on computer to give a copy to your gay friends.
COAD is honestly overrated. The tour was great though. Hard Candy is better. It has better lyrics, some great tracks. Hung Up is just an ABBA rip off... it's really not that great. I'm one of the few who doesn't agree with others on the album. Hard Candy has Miles Away, Voices, Devil, Give it 2 Me. I liked COAD at first listen but years and years later-- it's mediocre. Just like the Music album.
Confessions on a dancefloor is timeless. Please buy the CD as all the songs are mixed together.
