I love these guys. AK and Ed Carlson were friends of my step-dads. Dudes are chill. Back in the '90s, they came down to Houston at a place called The Abyss. They gave me free roam of the tour bus and let me play video games, lol. The drummer at the time allowed me to do soundcheck which is now why I've been playing the drums for over 20 years. Another time they came over and went swimming at my grandmothers' and did laundry. Metal!!!
Eric A.K. reminds me so much of the late Keith Dean(Holy Terror) not in the vocals factor but just in the way that they are unique people.... cheerz thrash it UP (with clean vocals)!!!!!
Actually maybe it was 2 years ago. Worcester Palladium it was Testament Overkill and Flotsam . Ive been to a lot of shows the last few years . Float and Overkill kicked ass Testament was ok at best that night .
Flotsam and Jetsam is the shit Personally though i liked their older albums like no place for disgrace and doomsday for the deceiver but that seems to happen to alot of thrash bands

Flotsam indeed is awesome. A band I was in in PHX warmed up for them a couple times and we got to hang out a bit. They are also very cool people. Very talemted.
This is metal at it's best. My favorite track from one of my all-time favorite metal albums of all time. And these guys still sound great. What a voice! Thanks for posting this.
I just seen Flotsam in Toronto on Feb.18.2013 & wow they blew me away! They were opening for Testament & 4ARM was also on the bill & Overkill had to cancel because of Bobby Blitz has "Walking Phnumonia",but I hope Flotsam comes back to Canada some time soon,maybe someday London,Ontario.
@SonOfCheepThrill They have other killer albums as well. The Cold for example reignites the fast flames of NPFD but mixes it with the song writing prowess of Drift... it's a must buy album!!!

Great to hear this once again. Growing up in Scottsdale, I remember seeing these guys (Newsted as well) at local gigs and desert parties!
