You absolutely can under those circumstances❤️ Matthew 12:10-12 [10] And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? That they might accuse him. [11] And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out? [12] How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.

If you are struggling to follow the sabbath because of the people that you live with. Just know that god will provide you with a home of your own. Where you make the rules. And the only person you will live with then is Jesus!!!!
@@whyme_ Every person decides to either continue wickedness or turn to Christ when they reach a breaking point in their life in which they say’ “why are all these bad things happening to me?” and that is when you as the supportive and loving wife steps in and say, “because it is time to turn to Christ.” and if he continues to be wicked he shall perish. you can pray for him but in the end it is God’s will to decide if he is going to save him or not!!!!

This is my first sabbath and I’ve already messed up so much. Before observing it, I didn’t read up on the rules other than no work 😢 so I baked bread did the dishes and made breakfast before finding all the rules. However I’m trying to give myself grace because I can’t condemn myself for things I didn’t know. Next week now I know what to do and what not to do. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Elecrtricity is not fire. Like if you open a light thats not kindling a fire, making toast using an electric stove, frying food, I dont agree with her no cooking rule its not accurate
@@nicoedits6940Hes the point is to not work. Starting a fire is a lot of work but turning on a light switch isn’t work or plugging something on an outlet
This will be my second Sabbath I messed up last week. I went to Clearwater beach and walked around with some friends from my church. Now I know that was wrong since it was for my personal pleasure. Commenting a previous post I think frying food even if it’s on an electric stove is still cooking. The word from my understanding does say to prepare on the 6th day.

Shalom family of the Most High Yahuah and His one and only Beloved Son Yahshua 🙂 There is much discussion and even debates about the Sabbath but the word is very clear. The Sabbath is the 7th day of the week, not the first day, which was changed by those who run this world. I was in church for over 23 years and they never spoke or taught anything about the Sabbath; however, in 2020 as I was reading Scripture, my spirit was quickened that I should be keeping the Sabbath. I shared this revelation with people I knew who are close the Yah and they rejected this truth and said they would pick their own day to rest. As the Messiah said, it is good to do good on the Sabbath, which was made for man and not man for the Sabbath. I keep Saturday as did our ancestors, the original and true Israelites. However, I'm not legalistic about it because we are under the grace of the Most High but I do dedicate it for spending time with my Heavenly Father and listening to awake Hebrew Israelite ministers, who are filled with the Holy Spirit in spirit and in truth. So if an emergency arrives and you need to go to the store and buy something, you will not lose your salvation nor will Yah punish you because His grace is sufficient to cover you in all things. I believe Yah blesses those who diligently seek Him and who obey Him. It's so good to see so many keep Yah's law/commandments. Be blessed and stay encouraged because our redemption is near. HalleluYAH!
@@eladsinger9215 …. I draw near to Yah in prayer and daily reading and studying His word, the Scriptures. I have read the whole Bible, from Genesis to Revelation and each time I read it again, the Holy Spirit reveals more understanding to me. This year 2024 I am studying by precept upon precept, here a little and there a little, which means I finding various Scriptures (in both the Old and New Testament) that are related for full understanding and this method has really been fruitful. I don’t fully understand all things but I’ve learned more in these last four years than I did in 23 years of going to church. I have come out of the church institutions, where men are taught by seminaries and not by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, they lead our people astray and away from the commandments that are everlasting, for they are life to the glory of Yahweh. May peace and wisdom and understanding be upon you🙏🏾
I sat on the side of my bed and gave thanks for this day and remembered something I heard the day before about praising and worshipping. I simply prayed to tell me what that really means and I just knew that the sabbath was where to start. Thank you for this well timed explanation.
Thank soooo much. I just started my relationship with Yah. It’s only thing to learn through church “being told what the Bible say “ vs reading and seeking him on your own. Other then the Ten Commandments, the sabbath was hard to follow. I’ve been at a stand still and set myself back many of times overthinking . Feeling like I’m not doing enough etc. but I do appreciate your video and the fact you backed everything up from what Yah has said.

Amen. It's refreshing to see so many eyes of understanding being enlightened. The Commandments are inseparable. Yeshua said, "My sheep knows My voice and a stranger they will not follow. " The Sabbath is connected to the nine. James 2:10 Whoever keeps the whole law yet offends in one point, he is guilty of all. YAH is Love! Amen 🙏

Ahchwath Susanna, I scrolled down your page and found this video so that I can have an even clearer understanding with keeping the Shabbat. I realized today that I can do better with not bringing my own burdens/issues into the Shabbat; This must change (I haven’t learned much or in-depth or clear guidelines about this point of the Shabbat before)! I’m about to start this video, but I wanted to comment beforehand and say, APTTMH for how He is using you as a vessel to build up sisters, whether they’re young and old and whether they’re new/newer into the truth or been doing this for 7+ years. I’m newer in the truth, about 8 months in now, and your page is FULL of edifying lessons, exhortation, areas we all can look within ourselves in and see where we can work. I’m so thankful to TMH to have come across your page through my cousin that’s been in the truth longer! I say all this to say thawadah to you ahchwath for your obedience in doing all this, as it truly does help us sisters in Israel continually strive to grow and become the women and daughters of Zion that TMH’s Word calls us to be & following Yahawashi’s example as well!
I learned there is 12 hours (John 11:9-16) in the day. From sun up to sun down is one day. Exodus 16:4-5. John 19:31 / Deuteronomy 21:23 The Ancient Egyptians started the 24 hour day. Thanks for food suggestions.
You start the Sabbath from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday..there is 12 hrs of day and 12 hrs of night..Not 12 hrs for one full day there is the 12 hrs night and 12 hrs day...
Thank you sooooooo much for this information... There is a lot that I didn't know... Thank you for your obedience to TMH!!! This was a beautiful video. I am new to the Truth and have been struggling with how to properly for Sabbath. You are a blessing to me for this.. I will be subscribing :) APTTMH!
Microwave warmed food as well . The Sabbath is a delightful time , its shouldn't felt burden ,if one felt that they don't want to used no fire during the Sabbath hours ,fine but it also goes with those who have to warmed their food ,not cook it on the Sabbath. About the Blending fruits on the Sabbath, we don't do because it look more of working when that preparation should be done before the Sabbath arrive.
I am new to observing the Sabbath and i came across your video today. Can you provide scriptural reference that burning incense wards off evil spirits. Thank you.
Yeah, to sum up this message, Sabbaths are 24-hour holy gatherings to cease from every single worldly distraction (not meaning taking care of children), to pray, praise, dance, celebrate, and magnify God until the Glory literally appears. Great message, traveling far on Sabbaths is forbidden, so if beyond walking distance, everyone needs to drive before evening on Sabbaths to holy gathering locations. Sleep in vehicles if necessary, we do at camp retreat locations, with propet sleeping quarters, and showers, and baptism pool for daily cleansing.
I’m in the truth but i still live with my parents and they don’t observe. I’m on my second year but i stilll have trouble because they ask me to buy stuff or chores. I actually ended up buying something today for my mom (I’m not putting the blame on her ) but still this isn’t the first time. I’m going to pray for change and advice / to repent but if any sisters have tips that would be great !
Shalawam sis! That is a tough spot to be in. Continue to obey your parents BUT I would suggest repenting each and every time. And try to talk to them (in a humble, respectful but serious tone) about how important it is for you to make this change. And how much you would greatly appreciate their support in your walk to be a better person and a more holy, spiritual person. I would also pray before that talk and ask Yah to speak through you and to fill you with the Holy Spirit, while also asking for Him to open their hearts up to receive the message. I hope this helps 😘
@Ananiyahisrael The advice above is perfect. Just to add to this… ask them if they could share in advance so you can prepare your finances while observing TMH. Or ask them ahead of time… is there anything you need me to get? The Sabbath helps us prepare the weeks as they go by we get better with time. I pray everything is going well. Shalom❤

Shalom my dear sister. I discovered your channel, yesterday evening, and I subscribed. I'm excited to be here. Thank you so much for this lesson, I learned something that I had never considered before, all praises to The Most High. I wanted to share some thoughts concerning the use of a microwave to reheat food on the Sabbath -- not trying to sway you, or anyone. Imho, the use of electricity is not the same as literally kindling a fire, although electricity can cause or ignite fire. We use lights, heating and air (electricity) in our homes on the Sabbath, and a refrigerator, which operates, continually, by electricity. Some of us also use computers and/or TVs to assemble, virtually via livestream, due to having no place to assemble, locally. Therefore, what's the difference between those things operating on the Sabbath and the use of a microwave to reheat food quickly (less than 5 minutes) on the Sabbath? 🙂Just a thought. However, to each their own, as we are working out our own salvation with fear and trembling. Much love, peace, and blessings. Have a good evening.
Good question as I also used a microwave as well when I first began to observe the Sabbath. Then I ran across an elder teaching on the topic and was edified about the use of the microwave so my husband and I stopped. We look at it this way, if the item can boil water then it’s essentially kindling your food since it makes it hot. Yahawa is not going to use modern terms in ancient writings so it’s up to use to discern what it might mean in this current time. He covers it by saying don’t kindle a fire which is heating up food. I suggest to not use it as it comes off like cutting corners, you know. The last thing you want is for this to be held against you on judgement day cause you leaned on your own understanding. Err on the side of caution just to be safe 😊 And welcome to the family! I pray that you’re edified through the Spirit 🙌🏾
@@scriptureswithsusanna Shalom sis, thank you!😊 I was edified, praises to The Most High 🙌🏾. I truly appreciate your videos, and I'm so glad I discovered your channel. I respect you and your husband's decision to not use a microwave on the Sabbath. I see what you are saying, it can also cook food. Looking at scripture, YAH tells us in Exodus 35:3, Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day. Keeping the Word in proper context, He means, starting an actual fire; He is clearly stating - you shall start no fire throughout your habitations on the sabbath day; that's not limited to cooking. Starting a fire is quite labor-intensive, which entails chopping and gathering wood, to build and start the fire. In the wilderness, there was a man found gathering sticks (wood) on the sabbath day, who was stoned to death (Numbers 15:32-36). In the ancient days, I believe they used fire for more purposes than cooking - remember the molten calf? Gold was used in the temple, when Solomon built the Temple. How would they have melted down gold? Work was involved. Today, people build fires for various purposes, as well. For example, to burn things, such as waste in landfills, although I don’t think it’s done here in the US, as much; to cremate, moreover the slash and burn method of agriculture comes to mind, which are all forms of work. Nevertheless, it’s an individual choice. I try not to lean unto my own understanding. I’m so thankful that The Most High is merciful, full of compassion and grace, and that He gives us wisdom, and understanding of His Word, also for His Holy Spirit. He leads and guides us into all truth. YAH will never let His children be deceived, He is our Light and Salvation. Much love, peace, and blessings 😊
How about using a blech, or a hot plate, turned on before Shabbat to keep your previously prepared meals warm for the Sabbath and Festivals? Do you have preferences or teachings on that? Todah---E@@scriptureswithsusanna

@ 3:16 when The Bible says there was evening and there was morning, it is not speaking according to time, it is saying that the evening and the morning are parts of the day, this is why you will never see the 13th hour of the day, but at Pentecost we see the 3rd hour of the day and when Christ was Sacrificed we also see the 6th and 9th hour of the day, the parable of The Vineyard Workers we see some came at the 11th hour, now this is what you will see "on the 14th day at evening" this shows that evening is part of the day, you will never see "on the 14th night at evening"
The most high God is truly amazing. This was right on time for me thank you for sharing this knowledge The fact that you even spoke on incense. Confirmed I needed this message this morning. Thank you. 🧕🏽🌻
It is very good to start with the Sabbath, but there is more. Luke 16:17 states that not a dot of the Torah will change. That means that the Torah is still fully in effect. People need to study and understand what that means. At Passover, during the feast of unleavened bread, Exodus 12:15 states = whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land.
Thank you I been eating a salad bowl and cereal eggs salad and potatoes salad chicken salad I didn't know you can't use a microwave so now I have things that I don't have to use the microwave I am 64 years old and I've been trying to keep the Sabbath right ever since I was 60 it's a lot of things you cannot do on the Sabbath so I try to do everything on Friday and sometime on Thursday is really not that hard if you look at it God just want us to keep his Sabbath holy plus I am a Chosen One so I have to keep it holy which a lot of people don't do because they go to the Sabbath Church which is not in the Bible
Most people teachings suggest not to fast on the Sabbath. Because it is a feast day ,so most people prepare a meal for Friday night, and most churches feast on the Sabbath (Saturday) after service to break bread and fellowship with one another ,they recommend not to fast, unless Yeshua is calling you to do a special fast .Shabbat SHALOM I have been a Sabbath keeper now for over 9 yrs
As I review the current taste bud palate preferences within my household ☺️, I love relearning recipes. Plus I have been on this need to come up with an effective recipe book to pass along to the children & help me write down and remember the meals that worked! 😂 Those ingredients change just a little bit and they change their minds altogether 🤦🏾♀️ They’re very young so I got a long way to go before it seems “normal.” Shabath meals are always fun! Stay strong in Yah cause it’s normal for only one or two to be called in a family. Most of my family is not in the truth either, including our children. So I get it 😊 But stay in the Word and that will continue to build up your Spirit. Keep your eyes on the Kingdom, HalleluYAH! Do your best to keep the Sabbath day holy. Don’t work, buy or sell and don’t cook; watch videos and learn that day. If your parents cook, there’s not much you can do cause you’re the child. But keep praying for them that they might repent and turn back to Yah. Your obedience will shine through! 🙌🏾
My camp eat hot foods on the Sabbath and we drink hot drinks. When come together to congregate and to feast. In order to feast you have to have hot or cold food.
If someone can demonstrate that Saturday aligns with the biblical Sabbath, I am willing to offer a reward of $5,000. From my understanding, the Sabbath should be independent of the Gregorian calendar. The designation of Saturday dates back to 321 AD under Emperor Constantine, and thus it does not originate from the Creation. While the concept of a seven-day cycle is indeed from the Creator, it doesn't necessarily correspond to what we now call Saturday.
This is where the spirit of the law comes in. God knows we don’t have access to that but delights in our desire to do what’s within our power to understand. So our own time zone Sabbath.
Shalom sis! I have some questions aswell cause it can get tricky when we go into specifics. After we eat and put our plates in the sink can we wash them? If the garbage gets full & starts smelling foul can we take it out? If the children spill, or drop their food can we clean it up ? Can we take showers on the shabbat? I look forward to your response. Thank you ❤
Shalawam sis! Yes, we can do small clean up after ourselves. When scripture goes into not doing servile work, it means work people get paid for. So no deep dive cleaning on the Sabbath, like laundry or cleaning bathrooms etc. Also, yes you can take a shower on Sabbath. I hope this helps 💕
Hello Susanna, @ 3:00 you said that The Weekly Sabbath Day is from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown, first of all there is a difference between a Sabbath and a Sabbath Day, a Sabbath can be any length of time because it is a rest, for example the Sabbath of The Land where that Sabbath is 1 year, now secondly there is nowhere and I repeat nowhere in The Bible where a Sabbath Day is evening to evening, if you can find it please provide The Scripture, also The Bible says that Light is Day and Darkness is Night, it also says that the greater light which is the sun rules the day, so if you are correct we should be able to see the sun at night, so please update your data on this, and blessings for your head covering.

I felt convicted about the part regarding incense, are wax melts considered what you were explaining to be the opposite 😢I had no idea but if it is I plan to stop and only use frankincense and myrrh. Thank you!!
Shalawam sis! Congratulations on beginning to observe Sabbath! Its is such a beautiful act😍A different kind of rest, in deed. Yes, you can only burn frankincense and myrrh. You can refer to the book of 1&2 Kings on how he feels about other incense.
Shalawam Sis, I've only seen a couple of your videos and must say I really enjoy your delivery and teaching of the Word. You have a peaceful spirit and evidence of fruit. This topic is so tough I've heard so many different breakdowns, but I keep searching the scriptures for clarity. Question regarding cooking and kindling a fire, the Levites had to make the shewbread on the Sabbath day which meant they cooked/baked the bread. Is it fair to say that kindling a fire could mean something else? It does have other meanings I'm still looking into it and praying about it though. Thawadah for the work you do!
Thawadah sis for your kind words 💖 And welcome to the channel! Please continue to pray as Yah will answer your prayers and will lead you through your studies. the meantime it would be profitable to err on the side of caution and not kindle a fire until you find your answers, just in case 🙏🏾
Ty for sharing your wisdom. Unfortunately I didnt know. My house was very cold Friday nite when I got home from work so I lit a fire in my woodstove to warm up🥴 I actually started it before the sun setted but did feed it a few logs to keep it going.😮 Can you start cooking n cleaning at Sundown Sat?🙏
Shabbat Shalawam Sister. I'm so glad for this channel. My question is, how are we allowed to burn the inscence on Shabbat if we are not allowed to kindle any fire? I loooooove frankensence and myrrh!
Shalawam sis! If you have a Bible app, do a quick search on the word frankincense and you’ll see that Yah gives examples of how it was used in the temple so it’s ok to burn it on his High Holy days. As well as when you’re trying to clear out spirits. I hope this helps!
Shalom sis. Thank you so much for this video! It's very helpful. I have some questions for you please. Are we supposed to be turning on our heater on the Sabbath? What are your thoughts on GMO and hybrid foods? Shalom!
Thanks. Fantastic ideas for the Sabbath. I just have a concern. We live in a very cold environment and rely on wood heat. We gather the wood ahead of time. Need to keep the stove going on cold days. Unfortunately some nights we don’t wake up soon enough to keep the stove going. So have to start or kindle the fire to keep it going. This can be so controversial these days. What constitutes kindle? Hard to rest and relax knowing that the heat might be gone if we don’t wake up in time. Having an automatic furnace is easier. But we don’t anymore. I’m sure they didn’t back in bible days. Lol but Jerusalem winter is not as harsh as some countries. Thoughts?
@@Dreadpoolz3977 what do you mean? I started keeping the Sabbath back in the early 80s. I’ve made many mistakes and still learning. And what’s this “my people?” I truly don’t understand.
I have heard a lovely Jewish woman who says they live by the law, not die by the law. So I would think if you only have wood heat and live in a cold climate than keeping your fire going would be living.
Hello Susanna; Wonderful message. Thank you. Question: The Bible tells us in Genesis 1:14 that the stars and moon are for times, seasons and days. Leviticus 23 ascribes feast days on full moons. That indicates that the Sabbath follows the cycles of the new moon, 1st quarter moon, full moon and last quarter moon and not necessarily Friday sundown to Saturday sunset, since Pope Gregory changed the calendar.which alters the Sabbath day. Comments?
@@sharononeill6477 Thawadah sis 💕 Being in this truth you will find that people have different doctrines and will observe the Sabbath on Friday to Saturday, on the Lunar Moon cycle etc so it’s best to stick to what your Spirit resonates with to ensure that you observe. Yahawashi will clear it all up when He returns. The best thing for us to do now is to come out of the world, repent and walk in the Spirit. To clean up our garment so Yah willing we can endure until the end and be saved. When the exact day is, is not as important as rehearsing the righteous acts. Just keep the Sabbath and keep it holy, KAN! 😘
I enjoyed your video but I have a sincere question. If we can't kindle a fire on the sabbath, how can we burn frankincense and myrrh incense during that time? If you have scripture that would be helpful and appreciated.
Shalawam sis! When the law states that you can’t kindle a fire it is only referring to cooking. Exodus 35:2-3 goes into a bit more detail as verse 2 says whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death; so cooking would be considered doing work. Frankincense is considered a holy item to burn as it was used in the temple pertaining to Exo 30 and Lev 2.
Exodus 31:14 “Therefore you are to keep the Sabbath, for it is holy to you. Shalom! ❤ I am doing all I can to learn how to keep the Sabbath holy so I greatly appreciate this video ☺️ I’m a single mom (my daughter is 7) and live away from my family so we feel isolated quite often. Saturday is normally our day to have play dates and do mother/daughter activities (outside of the house). Do you have advice on how my daughter and I can observe Sabbath without feeling alone or my little one getting bored? Could we leave the house?
It’s better to do that on Sunday since technically you can’t do that until sun down on Saturday. However there are people in essential jobs who have to work on Saturday and approach this day as something in service. So you could volunteer on Saturday in service of god and others of that was helpful…
I came across jewish videos regarding keeping the sabbath. The biblical background is to make no fire on the sabbath, in todays world this is: turning the lights off in the fridge (because opening the door switches light on), not using the light switches (you can leave light on, if you need, but not switching it „on“). Their explanation was that making fire needs a spark, and when you switch the lights on electricity runs through a wire and causes a spark…. I do not know if this is for strictly observing jewish people only or what other denominations will give you as an explanation why they do or do not follow these rules the same way.
So using the microwave might fall under the same rule. This is why they often use heating pads and water heaters that are switched on before lighting the shabbat candles and stay on until shabbat ends. This way there is always hot water and warm food available
No cooking. Sabbath is a day holy to the Lord. We should meditate on his word, teach others his laws. Doing His laws is what shows that we are truly wise in a world of foolishness and disorder.
WHEN U HAVE AN EMERGENCY ON SABBATH A DEATH A HOSPITAL CALL ON SABBATH U GET THE PICTURE U PRAY TO YAHWEH FOR HIS MERCY YAHWEH WILL FORGIVE U. KEY IS HIS MERCY AND GRACE GIVEN....... WATCH & SEE!! JB.SHALOM
I’m a fan of the New Testament Jesus Christ even worked on the Sabbath as if his father was working. He also didn’t abolish the law of Moses but fulfill the law
Hi there. The term cooking could refer to many things I assume? people cook things up on the computer all the time? I'm new to this but i would assume electronics would be a don't on sabbath?. As far as i can tell, all electronics produce heat, the computer chip is small but produces a large amount of heat for its size. In the chip, Transistors act as mini electrical switches that produce electrical current. Fans are often used to cool them down. For the most part. all modern day electronics use computer chips. I think its very possible that on a very small scale they are probably very similar to fire. I'm thinking in are times this might be fairly important. I have to try it myself now though, like i said Im new to this. Any ways have a good day.
@@emily3333 KJV Bible You cannot work on the Sabbath regardless of the type of job. So it would be best to do a job that you don’t have to work on weekends or ask for the weekend off
I need your help. Good day, I hope you are well. I have never practiced the Sabbath before but it is my wish to learn to honour God in my ways. In terms of keeping the Sabbath, I am conflicted when it comes to self grooming. Is keeping clean, in particular washing your hair, considered selfish or labour? Is it not considered “good” to be clean on the Sabbath? Because the bible also encourages to do good on the Sabbath. Can you keep your lights on during Sabbath? Or is it considered the equivalent of making fire? Also, do you have to switch off the geyser and bath with cold water? Can you not even do the least of tidying, I mean I get not washing dishes, those can be put aside in a tidy manner and wash after Sabbath. But what about basic tidying up after yourself? For example making your bed. Should we just not tidy up after ourselves and leave everything behind us looking a hot mess? Sorry for this many questions. It would be helpful to know.
Shabbat Shalawam! Yes, you can do some small tidying up after yourself on Sabbath. So making up your bed, and picking up toys after children (stuff like that) is all fine. Like you said don’t go cleaning up a whole bathroom or washing a bunch of dishes as that’s more labor intensive. I would suggest that you wash your hair on Sunday cause it does take some time for us women of color 😊 But you can wash your face, brush your teeth etc. Turning on lights in not considered kindling a fire. That only pertains to food so you’re good there as well. I hope this helps!
The “selling” portion is what I get caught up on. I have a brick & mortar and online store. Of course, I am now going to start closing on Saturdays, but it is my online store that is 24/7 and I do not have access to shut it down for a short period of time and then turn it back on. Any advice?
Shalawam sis - maybe you can look for a feature that places your online store on like a vacation status. I know Etsy does that. If not, you might be able to do a quick Google search on how to stall an online store for a temporary period of time.
One thing I will disagree with. In the Bible it describes a day as (morning, evening). The correct sabbath is Saturday sunrise to Saturday sunset. God created light and saw it was good. And called it “Day”. Evening and morning was the first Day! Meaning it was from Sunrise to Sunset because that’s when the sky was lit with the light god created. When it was darkness he called it night. We got this confused in these times.
@@blaquebeauty007 evening and morning are the first 12hrs. We took gods natural order of days and conform to the pagan ways of identifying what’s consider a day(24hours) which is 12hours of day and 12hours of night where we get our 24hrs”a day”. God identify days as morning, and evening when the sun is out. Hints the “first day”. While night is strictly darkness. From my idea of what the book is saying it’s not a new day until the sun appears in the sky. When god said let there be light god at that time created morning is what I interpret. When we get deeper into the sabbath where god said nor cattle should do no work. Cattle only do work during the day. This further have me believe that the sabbath is from morning to night. I say this because why would god instruct us to make sure cattle don’t do work during the times where work isn’t done. I think it’s the clues of when the animals are instructed to not do no work is where it solidifies exact what’s consider a day. In the history of man our animals never do any work during the night hours.
Shalom agree ....John 11:9 YAHUSHA said 12 hours in the day ,the only 2 Shabbaths kept evening to evening is in Leviticus 23 Pesach/passover and Day of atonement is specific for evening also, Ezekiel 46:1-2 proves the inner courts was closed 6 days , then opened 7th day for shabbath and then CLOSED in the evening meaning shabbath had ended ,I use to be confused with evening to evening unfortunately those Rev 2:9/Rev 3:9 frauds made the 24 hour tradition up shalom mIshpacha
The entire chapter of Leviticus 23 explains all the set apart days and how it is from evening to evening. Just read that chapter. It literally states from evening to evening or from sundown to sundown on all the days that are referenced. Hope this helps. Praise Yah.
@@TallieMarc Leviticus Chapter 23 verse 3. This is where I’m getting my information from my brother. I took note with it specifically saying “Day”. In the book of Genesis God tells us that when the sun is out he considers it as day. God word doesn’t tell us that a 24hr period he considers as a day. The 24 hours period time frame I believe if I’m not mistaken came from the Babylons. During the evening which is 5pm-7pm(in some cases) this is evening in which the sun is still out and before darkness (night) starts. ”“Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work. It is a Sabbath to the Lord in all your dwelling places.“ Leviticus 23:3 ESV ”And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.“ Genesis 1:4-5 ESV
@@Leonard_Washington76I see what you are saying. However in the Hebrew language the word Yom is for Day and it is used many times in the Bible. It is used as Day describing the Hebrew word Boker which means morning. Day as in light. Meaning the “part” of the day when the sun is up. But Yom echad is often used as well to mean a full day from evening to evening. Yahuah’s days start at evening at night fall and goes through the morning all the way until the sun goes down. When the sun sets the day is over. The same verse you gave in Genesis 1:4-5 in the Scriptures 2009 version says l: “And Elohim called the light ‘day’ and the darkness He called ‘night.’ And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, one day.” Berĕshith (Genesis) 1:5 TS2009 And if you look at the blue letter Bible in Hebrew it says: 4וַיַּרְא אֱלֹהִים אֶת־הָאֹור כִּי־טֹוב וַיַּבְדֵּל אֱלֹהִים בֵּין הָאֹור וּבֵין הַחֹֽשֶׁךְ׃ 5וַיִּקְרָא אֱלֹהִים לָאֹור יֹום וְלַחֹשֶׁךְ קָרָא לָיְלָה וַֽיְהִי־עֶרֶב וַֽיְהִי־בֹקֶר יֹום אֶחָֽד׃ פ The Hebrew word יום is used as Day meaning the light part of the day. It is used several times in that passage from verse 4-5. But at the very end of Verse 5 it says יום אחד which means Yom Echad, a whole day. Bokar which is written as בקר also means the actual morning when the sun first comes up and also is sometimes used as the part of the day that is light. So this passage is saying the evening and the morning is a full day. It was the world and all the other nations that worship the sun god and other the other pagan gods that tried to change up times and laws and seasons. And now we have a day starting at midnight and then going through sunlight and then another night period before a the next day starts at midnight. But Yahuah intended it to be simple and have the first part of a full day to be night and the second part of a full day to be morning/light part of the day.

HalleluYAH!

How do you draw close to Yah, if I may ask?

Err on the side of caution just to be safe 😊
And welcome to the family!

If the garbage gets full & starts smelling foul can we take it out?
If the children spill, or drop their food can we clean it up ?
Can we take showers on the shabbat?

Thoughts?

Hello Susanna; Wonderful message. Thank you.
Question: The Bible tells us in Genesis 1:14 that the stars and moon are for times, seasons and days. Leviticus 23 ascribes feast days on full moons. That indicates that the Sabbath follows the cycles of the new moon, 1st quarter moon, full moon and last quarter moon and not necessarily Friday sundown to Saturday sunset, since Pope Gregory changed the calendar.which alters the Sabbath day. Comments?

Is microwaving included in the no cooking rule?
What about using the microwave are air fryer can you use these items to cook with on the Sabbath
No cooking. Sabbath is a day holy to the Lord. We should meditate on his word, teach others his laws. Doing His laws is what shows that we are truly wise in a world of foolishness and disorder.

Hi I wanted to ask if we follow the sabbath on certain moon days as well I remember seeing something like that
One thing I will disagree with.

Leviticus 23:3 ESV
”And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.“
Genesis 1:4-5 ESV
@@Leonard_Washington76I see what you are saying. However in the Hebrew language the word Yom is for Day and it is used many times in the Bible. It is used as Day describing the Hebrew word Boker which means morning. Day as in light. Meaning the “part” of the day when the sun is up. But Yom echad is often used as well to mean a full day from evening to evening. Yahuah’s days start at evening at night fall and goes through the morning all the way until the sun goes down. When the sun sets the day is over.
The same verse you gave in Genesis 1:4-5 in the Scriptures 2009 version says l:
“And Elohim called the light ‘day’ and the darkness He called ‘night.’ And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, one day.”
Berĕshith (Genesis) 1:5 TS2009
The Hebrew word יום is used as Day meaning the light part of the day.

Leviticus 19:28 ESV
You shall not make any cuts on your body for the dead or tattoo yourselves: I am the Lord.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 ESV / 41
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.
Thank you 💕
