So much you're missing out by just playing through it once. D:
Trouble he was having: The sub-machine guns have basically the same range as the shotguns. You need to be CLOSE or you're getting low damage ricochets. LOL! Balteus Snail gave me so much trouble on my final S rank. And to S rank you can't use the checkpoint, so I got pretty familiar with that mission... But since I zoomed past him in the previous mission, instead of accusing me of trying to kill him and Arquebus, he repeatedly bitched that I IGNORED him and Arquebus. NG+, and NG++ go way faster than the first run. For one you're better. Also you can skip a majority of cutscene stuff unless it is new.
Man, this game is so good, i am a long time AC fan but even then i didn't expect it to be this awesome. I need more FromSoft :( gimme that DLC or AC7 d00d
My NG took me like 30 hours, and my NG+ took me 10 hours, id say most of my gameplay was from dying to the bosses but in NG+ i was breezing through them much more easily .
I had to turn off the voices during the IBIS fight because Walter and Ayre wouldn't shut the hell up and let me concentrate. In fact, I missed out on a ton of lore because I just couldn't focus on the dialogue and boss battles at the same time. Watching others play has been pretty helpful in getting more of the story.

@@leithaziz2716 fair, but armored core pvp isn't like souls pvp it's different enough imo. I just thought 3v3 would be wacky enough for a yo videogames night. Aw well.
This game is the best argument AGAINST making NG+ and NG++ amazing (and they really are, they're even better experiences than NG IMO), cause people don't end up playing them... For those who don't know, NG+ and NG++ have: new missions, alternate (completely different, much harder and cooler) versions of old missions, branching paths you didn't take in your decision missions in NG (like a 100% different chapter 5), new arena matches, new weapons, new AC parts... Basically more of everything. And when you're redoing some old stuff, you just breeze through it, so you spend most of your time doing new stuff.
Kind of a disappointing play through if he ends it here honestly. He kinda just steamrolled with the most powerful weapons available, barely experimented with AC building, and skipped dialogue and lore like crazy. His movement isn’t even that much better than when he started. I really want to see him be challenged by the endgame content and maybe make a few more varied AC’s.
Armored Core 6 has amazing level design in that each mission feels unique with lots of mission specific gameplay elements. But I agree level exploration, ie. looking for logs / items using scan isn't great.
I mean in the older games looking for optional items was way harder tho I do feel the PS2 games had better level layout. AC6 still has way better level design than AC4, For Answer and the two gen 5 games so it's a step in the right direction.
@@RavusNox-z5i Sometimes I feel like he should just leave it on sub mode with how he acts towards the chat sometimes. I will say the chat does backseat a bit but he lets his temper get the best of him. Its why I don't watch some of his playthroughs.

For the record, a 2nd and 3rd run will DEFINITELY be worth it. New missions, new story info, new arena matches, more parts and weapons, etc. Really hope Max plays the game more.
Why did you leave off the end where you shat on every other PVP scene in a condescending tone to one-guy chat while implying that fighting games aren't jank?
I guess for most creators its just easier to get liberator out first to maybe not have to re-record but the fact remains there are still newer things past the first playthrough (new things that give agency to the player towards really feeling they deserve being called THE Liberator of Rubicon).
I think the game didnt do a very good job to explain the consequence of your choice in Chapter 5. The game never explicitly explained really what caused fire of Ibis, it was intentionally set by the institute to kill the coral, and a second one of that is what Walter and Carla wanted. But the players didn't get this. There were 2 coral surges incident in the game (watchpoint alpha where you meet Ayre and the surge in the mine shaft), which looked a lot like fire of Ibis, and it was meant to show how volatile coral can be, and a lot of player linked that with fire of Ibis and assumed that burning coral is to prevent something like that. The only part of the game that really made the overseer's plan clear, and explained fire of Ibis' true nature is Walter's message after Cel240 fight while you are dragging your feet to the scrap AC. But let's be real, most people especially streamers spent that time speaking to chat discussing the Cel240 fight and ignored the dialogue. Very bad time imo. The speech should go right before Carla's explanation of the Overseer group, which was really ambigious. but maybe she was intentionally trying to mislead you to choose her side.
@@filinkcytthe amount of streamers I've seen pick the other ending and get confused on why Ayre and Rusty fight them and why their chat is saying they choose the bad ending really proves your point
Just finished my first playthrough. I got omega sad after killing Carla and Chatty... But then I saw our boy one more time and I started crying because I knew this was the good ending. Great game.
Chatty was never given a chance to be more than just a war machine the true ending he straight-up said "I never learned to laugh" and that just shows you how he never really got the chance to live
So glad to have finished my playthrough as well. No point for NG Plus or Gear Farming. There's NO CO OP. Just glad to have finished the game. Back to Helping others in Elden Ring , Souls and Bloodborne.
I have to say, I hate Max' takes when he's fighting Arquebus Balteus. "The shotgun isn't doing anything" -> shoots the shotgun at extreme ranges or doesn't fire it at all "I haven't been able to dodge his attacks, I guess you must be close to him to dodge them" -> only tries to fire his songbirds when the UI is telling him the boss is about to fire, so he gets hit consistently "this boss recovers real quick" -> staggers Balteus from long range with songbirds so he misses opportunities to pilebunker "This boss has so much health" -> Uses all of his attacks at once to stagger Balteus, is left with nothing to damage it while it has no shield.
Doubt Max will have time but it would be sick to watch him go through and get the other 2 endings and complete all the missions. New Game++ Chapter 5 is crazy
Did they change Snail's voice lines in the Balteus fight? I remember it being the same as in this video where Snail says our crime is that we "tried to kill" him, but when I fought him the other day he said "ignored" instead of "tried to kill".
@@gargarmikejaphett.3840 That makes sense, but I have always killed him in the previous mission. I never pass up an opportunity to kill Snail. But maybe if you replay the mission with his final boss fight, it just gives the voice line as if you didn't attack him in the other mission.

"there is something we can do". "Yes! I will change the decal. On my head."
I'm ded. 🤣
Hey Max, I believe you wont be doing any new game +, but you should react to the other 2 final boss fights and there endings!
Yeah at the very least he should react to them. They're great.
PLEASE KEEP PLAYING and get to the true ending PLEAASEEEE
if you decide to do NG+ and NG++ i would recommend going back and doing combat logs to unlock more parts and weapons
you should try the other 2 endings. the first playthrough is the hardest even though you will go into NG+ and NG++ its way more approachable
if he doesn't go for all the endings I would like to see him at least try pvp, maybe have a yo videogames night. Although idk if the other doods were into this game.
That would be dope! I think him and the doods would have a ton of fun trying out pvp
@@jeremyroberts8822 apparently he already yelled at chat for telling him to try pvp.
Max never liked Fromsoft PvP. Poor netcode and jank aside, he says if he wants to experience Player Vs Player, he'd rather just play a fighting game.
@@leithaziz2716 fair, but armored core pvp isn't like souls pvp it's different enough imo. I just thought 3v3 would be wacky enough for a yo videogames night. Aw well.
@@leithaziz2716 Armored Core PvP is more like a fighting game than ever before. It's literally AC to AC fights he's been having already in the arena.
Ayre also saved us before fighting Balteus. We emerged with all of our vital signs perfect , after that explosion
All the penultimate missions are hype as hell in this game, mainly because of the presence of Rusty and his epic theme.
Lets be real we all knew he wasnt going to Ng+ and ++
Kind of a disappointing play through if he ends it here honestly. He kinda just steamrolled with the most powerful weapons available, barely experimented with AC building, and skipped dialogue and lore like crazy. His movement isn’t even that much better than when he started. I really want to see him be challenged by the endgame content and maybe make a few more varied AC’s.
NEW GAME + its where the EXTRA FUN begins
man this is the first time i am seeing your channel and your intro earned you a sub
This is a great video. I still have a ways to go but now I know what lies ahead. It's rough but I'll get through it.
Christ I feel like abridged Piccolo telling Gohan to dodge
My favorite reaction in this game. Wait! Shut up Ayre! LOOOOT!
"Final" 😅. It's still awesome to see Max enjoying it though
Figures that Max left out his tantrum at the end of this stream where he hulks out because people recommended multiplayer to him. Absolutely wild.
What was the tantrum exactly about? Like give me an abridged version if you can.
@@RavusNox-z5i Sometimes I feel like he should just leave it on sub mode with how he acts towards the chat sometimes. I will say the chat does backseat a bit but he lets his temper get the best of him. Its why I don't watch some of his playthroughs.
@@gettingannoyedquick basically he insulted the chat and rage quit the stream. Saying shit like "These are not people I want in my chat."
Max acting like a man child? I’m not surprised
I laser lanced my way to victory, it makes the game a bit too easy but the insane power and mobility was just too much fun.
4:56:27 The combat here is great but it’s nothing like ZOE. Two completely different styles. Just bcs you use mechs/robots in both doesn’t make it so. This game is awesome but ZOE The 2nd runner is a masterpiece!!
It’s Max lol are you really surprised? Motherfucker sees mech and thinks duh “It’s sUcH A BeTtEr ZOE” such a stupid take.
I have to say flamethrower and drone Orbt are far from being trash.
Maybe not the op zimmerman shit, but definitly not trash.
Have fun people!
That is straight up just the Berserker Armor.
I'm impressed. You went with the harder path in the first run. I went w this path too. Jeez, the Carla and Chatty fight and Balteus 2 was rough
Look at you 621.. you've found a friend.
For the record, a 2nd and 3rd run will DEFINITELY be worth it. New missions, new story info, new arena matches, more parts and weapons, etc. Really hope Max plays the game more.
Also the 2nd and 3rd playthroughs will be like 4 hours each. You can BREEZE through the game now.
Why did you leave off the end where you shat on every other PVP scene in a condescending tone to one-guy chat while implying that fighting games aren't jank?
"in armor core 7" actually in new game++ lol
I swear FromSoft can do anything they want. They know how to make good or Legendary games.
Fromsoft just don't miss
I guess for most creators its just easier to get liberator out first to maybe not have to re-record but the fact remains there are still newer things past the first playthrough (new things that give agency to the player towards really feeling they deserve being called THE Liberator of Rubicon).
Undo the surgery....be normal again....
If that doesn't sum up how depressing and twisted the armored core universe is I don't know what will 😰
The music in this game was top notch as well.
FINALLY someone getting the GOOD ENDING. LETS GO MAX!!!
This is sooo fantastic! Very enjoyable!
Max its totally worth it to go through ng+ and ng++ for the other endings.
Finally beat the game a few days ago
So ,I can watch this In peace now
New game + and New Game ++ are ABSOLUTLY WORTH IT!
"The shotgun isn't doing anything"
-> shoots the shotgun at extreme ranges or doesn't fire it at all
"I haven't been able to dodge his attacks, I guess you must be close to him to dodge them"
-> only tries to fire his songbirds when the UI is telling him the boss is about to fire, so he gets hit consistently
"this boss recovers real quick"
-> staggers Balteus from long range with songbirds so he misses opportunities to pilebunker
"This boss has so much health"
-> Uses all of his attacks at once to stagger Balteus, is left with nothing to damage it while it has no shield.
The laser sword arcs killed me so many times
Doubt Max will have time but it would be sick to watch him go through and get the other 2 endings and complete all the missions. New Game++ Chapter 5 is crazy
I love that Wesker voices G1 Michigan.
how come it's always mecha media that's always the most emotional
In every game max always picks the most basic shit n use it the whole game im like theres so many cooler options
Viper mech was the best one. So fast and zippy. Just needed a high dps weapon for that first mission with it.
So is he planning on streaming the other routes, or not?
Nice job on Cel 240. You did way better than I anticipated.
Now the real challange for you awaits if you dare to do NG+ and NG++
whelp time for NG+ and NG++ right... right?
3:51:53 that explains the new update parts
I'm guessing this was recorded BEFORE the update? Where kinetic guns gets a buff?
you gotta playthrough the other endings, different stuff and story happens throughout ur playthrough during ng+ and ng++
Max REALLY needs to pay more attention to his health. haha
Did they change Snail's voice lines in the Balteus fight? I remember it being the same as in this video where Snail says our crime is that we "tried to kill" him, but when I fought him the other day he said "ignored" instead of "tried to kill".
Depends on whether you fight or ignore him in the previous mission.
@@gargarmikejaphett.3840 That makes sense, but I have always killed him in the previous mission. I never pass up an opportunity to kill Snail. But maybe if you replay the mission with his final boss fight, it just gives the voice line as if you didn't attack him in the other mission.
I used the laser lance majestic and needle guns it was really effective
