I am always stunned by the tenderness with which you paint and teach. Birds are my very favorite subjects, and I greatly appreciate your approach on this flamingo. So, so beautiful, thank you Louise.
You are a wonderful teacher and artist! The detail and clarity you use when teaching is so helpful and very much appreciated. The pace you go is excellent too.
You have such an amazing gift. I babysit my grandkids and have no free time to practice my watercolors. I have enjoyed your teachings. One day I will start to pain again. Your fan always
Thank you so much for talking about the more technical aspects of how you compose your art! I learn so much from your RUclips videos! Your art is beautiful!
Beautiful Louise! I’m still at the ‘tight painting stage’ where I try to paint everything but I’d love to loosen up a bit. Your paintings are inspirational! Have a great weekend 😊💕
Thanks Sarah. I'm trying to break away a little. I still love detail but I know it's important now to focus that detail on the focal point and have other softer areas. It's not easy! There's so much to think about. You have a lovely weekend too. 💕
Such vibrant colors! I love how different your paintings of the same subject are, how you can suggest feathers without going to such detail. It gives the picture a looser, free feeling. Very nicely done! 🙂
Your work is stunning but I love your birds in particular. You color study already seam stunning. What is the difference to the final painting beside that you changed some colors?
I loved watching you paint and also your narration which I thought was so cool and collected- till I saw the bloopers at the end. Hooting with laughter right now. I face the same struggles as I am horriby camera shy, and my English falters at the best of times. You have a funny bone I think and you should show it.
very pretty, i love that new orange you used. you might look at the Red Fody of madagascar for another opportunity to use it. it's a rather detailed little bird so it will be interesting to see how you soften it :)
I was wondering how you do a graphite study. I love watching you paint, but the hardest part for me is getting the drawing part right... Not sure how you get started on that part....
Lovely... Louise I do not have that particular orange from Daniel Smith. Are you familiar with another brand of paint that has a similar colour? My mind is telling me to mix an orange hue to opera pink and maybe a touch of lemon yellow... could be fun to experiment mixing but nasty if l were to run out of the colour! I would appreciate your feedback on what mixes or brand of paint would be suitable. Congratulations to Dom setting up your shopping site to sell your amazing originals and prints! Thanks Cynthia. It's easy enough to mix an orange. Use a bright transparent yellow and a warm red maybe. It doesn't have to be the same colour as mine. Opera Rose isn't lightfast so be aware of that if you use it.
Louise, I joined skillshare (thank you) but don't see the flamingo tutorial. Is there a link to get the line drawing as I think I can follow your painting of the bird on youtube. Thanks
Hi Kate, This isn't a full length tutorial yet. I have 11 classes on Skillshare that you can see on my profile here: www.skillshare.com/user/louisedemasi I plan to make a full length tutorial of this painting for Patreon next year.
Hi Barb, it's not made yet. It won't be ready until early next year. I'm working my way through the paintings I did before this one. The Graded Washes and Brush Marks tiers have access to the same tutorials. If you can't see what you are looking for on the indexes I've made that's because they are still in production. 💕
@@mimiesmirayzedtoo6615 Thank you! It's only on Patreon. It's $6 US a month to have access to the tutorials on there. You can leave at any time. It's best value to join at the start of the month. 💕

Hi Jessica, Yes I will. It will be available early next year. 🤞🏻
Is it cotton paper?

Is the eradication brush specific to that purpose? If so, is it purchased under the name “ eradicator brush”? Thank you
Can we do this tutorial?
