    1. Store bought salad dressing, 2. Crunchy toppings, 3. Cows cheese, use goat or sheep cheese which is loaded with MCTs, like feta or pecorino

Why do American cheese companies get away with making a cow's milk cheese and passing it off as feta. That's all you'll find in the supermarkets here. In Tucson Costco, TJ's and Sprouts carry an imported sheep & goat milk feta.

I have read Grudry’s books and follow his advice, but always wonder if you have a great gut microbiome does it matter if you eat cheese and other products he deems harmful. I have no problems with eating any foods, but stick to a natural whole food diet, but some of things I eat are on his do not eat list like cow’s cheese.

@@GundryMDYT Thanks a little background information. I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in 1996 cause by a skin doctor who had me on tetracycline from 1989 until 2002 when I quit taking it. The doctor treating the ulcerative colitis had me on extremely high doses of prednisone plus Prilosec from 1996 until 2002 when I quit taking it. I woke up one morning and realized the medicine was doing more harm than good and they wanted to knock out my immune system. I was also in 2 car accidents around 2002 and was on pain medication for a long time and started high-quality supplements to repair the damage caused by the medicine. Together they started fixing my U.C. In 2017 I read The Plant Paradox and changed everything I thought I knew about healthy eating. Today my gut microbiome is excellent and my poops are the way you describe healthy poops in your books.

I think most sheep are grass fed. If you are poor, eat sardine for protein, they are cheap. If you can't even afford that, then you'd better stop worrying about health, start worrying about starvation.
