    How heavy are the chickens?

      Approximately, a ton each lol. The reason to add concrete foundations is to isolate the timber frame structure from ground and avoid rotten. Also it keeps more stable while terrain moves by climate changes.

      I would have put framing on leca blocks. But always a god idea to build solid if you want to change what you use the building for 🐔💪

    Do you not need to worry about putting these below the frost line? Is that not a thing in your area?

    Nice work! How deep did you did the holes for the cement? Looked like they weren’t too deep, which makes sense
    it’s not something really heavy like a deck.

    Hmm no rebar and concrete in a square above ground. Seems like it will shift with weather and the concrete without rebar will spilt apart and separate. You did a whole lot for nothing
