  • We takeoff from Gaston's Arkansas on their bumpy grass runway and as soon as we got airborne it was just as rough with the turbulence on our way to Melbourne, Arkansas for a fuel stop. While enroute there I had a DUAL vacuum pump failure...again. This is the second time in a year this has happened to me. We thought it was fixed but obviously not. Luckily our new maintenance shop, TAS in Defiance, Ohio (the Twin Cessna experts), were able to find and correctly resolve the issues. The second half of the video is flying my sister back to Rome, Georgia to drop her off before we head back to the midwest to beat the storms that were on the way.
