Every time I see your plane I can't believe how beautiful her paint job looks! Such a nicely designed paint scheme and a good job from the folks that did it.
Me and the wife went in 2016 for Christmas, the devastation from the fires was everywhere. I am glad we went and didn't cancel. Was a great trip and spent a little more money than we had planned.
The video brings back the memory of the smell of sugar and butter of all the taffy and candy shops. I stayed with my parents in the Inn beside the skylift in 1971. Amazingly it's still there.
I totally agree that The Park restaurant in Gatlinburg should not be missed. I go to Gatlinburg at least twice a year, and I always leave the house to coincide with The Parks happy hour. Keep the videos coming, Big fan of you both.
The lake, the river...across the "fruited plain". I think there's a song in there someplace. General aviation is the best way to see America the Beautiful!!!
We took the Harleys on 441 through the Great Smoky Mountain National Park to Gatlinburg, and the roads are the best ever! Maybe not quite as smooth as in 1BC, but absolutely beautiful country.
Man that huge granite ball was really cool. Neat idea. Looks like a nice place to visit. Thanks for the tour. You put the lime in the coconut...lol. Be safe.
If you would have asked me if I loved watching a couple flying in a small plane I would have said you are mad, but guys, love watching your flying and adventures... thanks for keeping us entertained
"...Mountains, lake, river, forest...", if one day you head west come on up to British Columbia, you'll be blown away! Love the new tail cam spot, better then the belly! Always enjoy watching your travels.
Awesome video! Really truly enjoyed it. I'm sick home this week (oct'22) and beside almost all your video's are great, this really made my day. And so much Jaime on screen! I love you guys, so much joy, humor and love between you 2. Keep doing that!
Kevin & Jamie... My Dad did 39 years at ZID working the APE HIGH, retiring in 2007. Doubtful you ever spoke to him but I showed him your channel and he said Jamie has the perfect ATC voice. Coming from a career controller, I'd guess that's a compliment.
I just discovered your RUclips channel today. I’m not a flyer but love these type of video. I LOVED your trip to Gatlinburg. I’m from Memphis, TN, but haven’t spent much time on the eastern part of the state. Would you mind sharing the name of the cabin where you stayed? Would love to take my family there some day. Thx, and safe flying!
Let me recommend a place for a visit if you haven’t been there. Ocracoke Island, NC is south of Hatteras. You can fly into W95, rent a golf cart and cruise around the village. Stay at The Castle on Silver Lake. Then make your way up the Outer Banks..Hatteras...Manteo...Kill Devil Hills.
You guys picked a great time to visit east TN. Sorry your paying the price for all the nice weather you had last fall during your visit. Illinois has been brutal during this month of February. At least we are still playing golf here in Tellico Village. Looking forward to some spring flights.
Grew up in Wears Valley until 15 yrs old, my dad attended Gatlinburg High and my grandfather use to farm the area where the mall stores are now located in Pidgeon Forge.
Thanks for showing us around Gatlinburg. Half the fun of your videos is watching you enjoy your destination. Gives me ideas where to go and what to do when I get there.
If you push forward on the weak stick it deploys wheels which make you go faster. If you do that from the moment of launch, you will exit the slide at about the third turn down the hill. At least that's what happened to me. My father in law wasn't so lucky. He flipped upside down but still in tube and got horrible fiberglass burns and splinters. Ahhh the memories.
I have never been to Gatlinburg, looks nice. I think our next trip will be down to Tennessee from Connecticut come this summer. Really enjoyed all the New England Swing videos seeing many of the places that I have taken my family to on vacation. A good perspective from the air. If you ever head back to coastal New England, you might want to drop in to Block Island, terrific beaches. If you plan a trip back east I think you guys would like the Adirondack region of upstate NY. You could fly into Plattsburgh and land at 12,000 foot runway of the old SAC base. Rent a boat and spend time exploring the islands in Lake Champlain and swimming at the many beaches along the shoreline. A one hour drive north and you are in Montreal. On your way home fly into Lake Placid and see all the great things that place has to offer. Keep those videos coming. Thanks.
We live just outside of good Ol’ knoxville on the clinch, and Tennessee river! Frequent Gatlinburg often and love it, so this video hits home!! Man I sure could have given y’all the hook up on things that are a must do and see as well as the food!!!!! Love all your videos guys!
I've been to that airport there in Sevierville, we have some close friends that live off the end of 28. There's actually a museum at the airport as well in case you missed it. Last time we were down there was right after those 2 kids set fire to the mountain. The mountain and trees survived really well but the fire jumped around so much it pretty much destroyed most of the homes on the hillside, so sad. It is beautiful down there.
Hello again, I just love flying with you guys and your approach was great, I thought it was high but very nice, so nice and very beautiful area you guys are at ❤️
Love the East Tennessee area. Next time you're in Gatlinburg, try Calhoun's (you walked right by it), they have great ribs. Also, a little trivia, you were across the street from the Gatlinburg Inn - that is where Felice and Boudleaux Bryant wrote the song Rocky Top. Room 388.
Wife and I have stayed in that cabin a couple of times. We had black bears on the front porch and on top of our car the first time that we visited. Like your videos!!
Jamie you are are so fine like gentle warm winds blowing on a sunny white beach surrounded by clear teal Bahamas water. Your husband is one lucky. I have total respect for you both Keep up the good work 🤙🏼
...aah. it must be Friday...more fun with Kevin and Jaimie .. the sun is out ..and we can see that Tail Cam on take off again ...Luv you two...keep 'em coming.. .
I live just down the road from Gatlinburg close to Maryville. I am new to your channel and have enjoyed the few that I have watched. I know that airport well. Gods country around here.
Hey Guy's, it's really nice to see a little "normal" again as we thaw out from Snowmageddon2021 down here in Austin, TX. The scenery there looks absolutely amazing. As always, looking forward to more awesome videos.....and warmer weather. 🥶
I have been watching your fine videos for over a year and love every moment. You are missing the one thing that I have in my Lancair that you don't have in the 310 ..... a propeller in front of your face .... which is why I love watching!! Gotta trade myself up to a 310 lol. Great job folks! I am buying a 90" TV so I can get an even more immersive experience.
hello guys nice to see you back and going somewhere. I want to thank you for showing some of the places on the ground and the things y'all do ya really make my day when I see a new video and you have just made it better by letting us go along with y'all on the ground Love ya and thanks keep safe
Love the Legendary Whitetails sweatshirt! Their HQ used to be 15 minutes from our house. Gatlinburg looks a lot like our Wisconsin Dells, but in a prettier location. Might have to visit it someday. We went ziplining not too far from there years ago and that was awesome!
Haven't been there in over 22 years. nice to see not too much has changed. Man....sound old even though really not. Great area that is. Pigeon Forge is a good time as well. Enjoy 310 Pilot =)
I have been following you guys for years. I am from Canada and we say about like aboot. I live Now in Memphis and it is gorgeous in East TN for sure. Take care and I enjoy your videos. I am a check ride away from getting my license just need to work into my schedule. I will have a Cirrus SR 22 to fly when I get my license..
This is my local area. Hope you had fun! My plane is parked at KMOR. Our kids go to school next to the GKT airport. Watch out for the helicopter tours in the area!
Gatlinburg has a lot to see. Check out the Chimney Tops and Clingmans Dome. We go to Chimney Tops a lot and relax by the mountain creek. Very popular area. Also Pigeon Forge is nearby as well with tons of stuff to see and do. Dollywood is closed until next month as they get ready for their spring opening. We have season passes there and go there a lot. The Island is another place to see. Lots of shops and the outdoor dancing fountain is great to see at night with the fountain lit up with lights and dancing to the music. Paula Deen's, Timberwood Grill and Margaritaville restaurant's to eat at. Look for the big ferris wheel...lol Enjoy your stay. Love your videos.
That was great guys. I'm sure y'all enjoyed it. When I took my wife up that lift when we got to the top she definitely had White Knuckle syndrome and they didn't have the slide that went back down to the bottom. The town still look the same sorry y'all didn't get out to the Elk Refuge it's beautiful. Thanks again for the Memories. These memories bring me back to a younger me and I appreciate it. Have a great day and stay safe! TQ out
That cabin look very nice outstanding Landing Kevin you guys always find some cool places to go I really enjoy your videos thanks for all you do bless you both
Thanks for sharing, I have lived in Sevierville my entire life and have never seen the town from that view point of landing approach. It was neat to watch/see.
Love the videos from you, look forward to see the next video already, it was fun to be able to see little clips from the places you were flying to, and not just filming in the air 😊
Probably tough on an ol' Georgia boy to hear Rocky top! I'm from Knoxville so I loved it! Hope you hit that Gatlinburg sky bridge while you were there!
We were going to stay at Alpine back in the fall but we tried booking too late. Still had a great time and there was snow on the mountain. In fact we couldn't go to the top because the road was closed.

Made many, many great memories there. Five, six, or more of families would drive from Meridian, Ms., would drive up there pulling pop ups..we would go to the Chimneys to see bears, go to Cades Cove just to view the scenery, go to the Biltmore House, we did it all. My kids are all grown now with their own families but when we all get together the memories come out.
That's so cool to see. I sent one of my type 3 engines out there on the Gatlinburg fire several years ago, the one that burned through Dollywood, but I have never been there myself
Just saw the video, next time your here shout out will take you trout fishing. If you think above is beautiful wait till you fish while elk watch you. Great Smoky Mountain Trout Unlimited

How do the chopper pilot change frequencies and such in turbulent skys? I will say I respect the coffee situation. When we vacation I will bring my own small coffee maker if I think there may not be coffee available. I'n not a fan of hotel room 2 serving coffee makers. Thanks for the Vlog!
I've never commented before on your channel I watch mostly from Roku...but I'm in middle tennessee an our getaway is Gatlinburg an the Gulf shores...love y'all's videos.... Mikey...
Glad you're enjoying the channel Mike and thanks for watching/the support even if you don't comment! We hope to retire to east Tennessee one of these days. In the mean time we will keep coming down to visit Tennessee and the Gulf shores. :)
So much to do in the Gatlinburg area. Rent a cabin for a week with a view. Ober Gatlinburg is a fun place. Next time check out Sugarland Distillery and taste the moonshine. Yummy. Thanks guys
Wow, that cabin looks awesome! We've traveled through Gatlinburg several times, heading to/from Great Smoky Mountains National Park, but have yet to spend any time there. Looks like a lot of fun!
Its awesome to see someone I follow on youtube fly into my hometown. Next time you all are in, hit me up... My wife and I can serve up better coffee and better places to eat!
Every time I see your plane I can't believe how beautiful her paint job looks! Such a nicely designed paint scheme and a good job from the folks that did it.
