Can't be tried as a minor anymore
There was a case within the last few years where a guy committed a sexual assault as a minor (a very short time before he turned 18, I believe). When he was caught, he played the I identify as a woman con. He demanded to be placed in the women's prison and also to be tried as a minor. He was found guilty and placed in a women's prison. I think he went on to assault the women in prison.

Once you discard something like a can, water bottle or cigarette, it’s open season for the investigator. I think it’s illegal to forcefully take it from you if you are not in their custody.

Giving water bottles is mainly to establish rapport & make the suspect feel more comfortable, which increases chances of cooperation. At least that’s my two cents from watching enough documentaries lol.

The more I am able to compare Russia with America, the more I respect Russia and feel ashamed of America.
