@@thesearchfortruthwisdom7714You are incredibly wrong about the warrants. There should never be a presigned warrant. In order for a judge to sign a warrant, police first must file a probable cause affidavit, stating exactly what they are looking for and the places they need to look.
You csn not take a blank signed warrant then once you get there, fill it in based off of what you see.
As for searching without a warrent, that is a nono too.
Unless there is an imminent threat of evidence being destroyed. They can clear the premises and secure it until they receive their signed warrant.

All the more reason that the law-enforcement agents investigating these crimes should be following a strict protocol to make sure they don't mess up the legal cases against the people they catch.
If the police break laws and tell lies in the process of getting these people arrested and brought to court, they've handed the defense lawyers ways to get the charges dismissed. And then instead of going to prison, the predators are still free to continue harming victims.

I'd like to know why the state put so many restrictions and requirements on catching child predators.
I've been seeing RUclipsrs doing child predator stings. They do all the setups then go and meet the predator in public, usually with police in tow. If not, they're not far behind. Those predator get busted on the spot with the evidence provided by citizens.
As long as the decoy doesn't initiate the contacts, or initiate the sex talk or ask for photos or videos, make the age they're playing very clear.
As long as they're not actually violating the subject's rights in any way. It should be all good to go.
What was the saddest revelation, was they had to shop around for a prosecutor intrested in prosecuting child predators.

Judges require "probable cause" before signing a warrant. That's under our 4th Amendment rights that protect us against unwarranted search and seizure by the government.
There are limited urgency-based exceptions to the 4A where LEOs can search or arrest with only the probable cause (that would support a warrant) but without requiring the judge to sign the warrant before the LEO can act on it.
There are further limited exceptions to 4A that allow LEOs to do limited searches with only a "reasonable suspicion" and so, without probable cause. Reasonable suspicion alone would not support a warrant or an arrest.
To incentivize LEOs to respect our 4A rights, courts do not allow evidence to be used in trial if it was obtained through a violation of the defendant's 4th Amendment rights.
As long as LEOs adhere to all the rules and exceptions in place under the 4th Amendment, that evidence generally can be used in prosecution.

As for manipulation it sounds like you trying to put forth the argument that since a judge isn't standing there at the scene and has to sign the warrant before the cops go to the sight means all warrants are pre-signed. That is obviously not what was being discussed. They were discussing the way our legal system works. You gather enough evidence for probable cause Next you take it to the D.A. (who takes it to a judge) or judge depending on your local laws. The judge examines what they have and decides if it meets the parameters THEN signs the warrant if the finding is yes. You make it sound like he is being deceitful by not mentioning that technically everything is pre-signed if you are only going chronologically. That would be the same as arguing a restaurant wasn't serving "fresh beef" because it wasn't killed on sight that day. That is a bad argument.
