    The biggest problem in India is that if you dont find employment within 1 year of graduating you will never find employment because then the next batch of 24 million people come and the companies prefer freshers.

      This must cause a lot of drama in families where graduates don’t find a job in time. What happens to them usually?

    • @polaris1985
      @polaris1985 4 месяца назад +635

      @@muaowa The family tries networking and get them employed somewhere or get them setup in faimly buisness, if that does not happen some use fake experience letters and try to find work and others just stay unemployed or work odd jobs that require no graduation degree.
      I know some examples where an MBA is teaching 9-10 grade students tution as work, one MBA is just unemployed for 10 years and stays at home, one graduate does project work for high school students.

      Government of India is not interested in family planning because it's belong to prove Hindu political party and they want hindu population for votes and riots to stay in power.
      Most Indians do family planning. So why population control bill isn't introduced by BJP?

    The government of India does not seem concerned about developing quality labor. Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Singapore, where the government spends 13 percent of its budget on education infrastructure, while our government spends only 2.5 percent. You can imagine how India will prepare high-quality labor under these circumstances. The current government's only concern is how to stay in power, with no interest in the country's development.

    The BJP government has significantly influenced the mindset of many Indian Hindus. Today, a large section of the population seems less concerned about pressing issues such as development, unemployment, overpopulation, and the state of the economy. Instead, their focus has shifted toward the exclusion of Muslims from India.
    This shift is fueled by government narratives emphasizing that Indian Muslims ruled the country for 900 years, fostering a sense of historical grievance and a desire for retribution. Consequently, there has been a growing trend of targeting mosques and other symbols of Muslim heritage.

      Not true, but most likely in rural areas, it's incredibly cheap. It could come close.
      It's a double whammy for India. Machines make things easier and faster. And also cheaper, if economies of scale is achieved. But more machines would mean that an even higher number of people being replaced and left unemployed.
      This double whammy can lead to a stalled growth.

      it is more convienient too . when i was in india , At 20 dollars per month, i had hired a lady who does my laundry using my washing Maschine, then irons my clothes and arranges them neatly in my cupboard. she visits my home every Saturday . in india you can live luxuriously if you have more money than the rest . In the west 70 year olds drag their own grocery bags. In india my father who was a cancer patient and a university professor , could afford hire a driver for 150 dollars per month . he would get the list of tasks from my father over a messenger app and then do them using our car . He would for example book MRI appointments for my father at a hospital , then drive my father there , and then drive him back home, take out carpets to the dry cleaners, purchase groceries for us, get cash from ATM , medicines from dispensary etc, so everything that needed to de done outside the house he would take care . After immigrating to Germany, the one thing i miss most is poor people. Just yesterday i spent two hours deep cleaning my toilet and bathroom and kitchen after i came back to germany from a holiday . In india someone would have done that for me at the price of a macDonalds burger. poverty is also very important . in germany even the refugees are getting money from the government . If i ask a refugee to clean my bathroom and kitchen for 5 dollars , they would laugh at me.

Unfortunately after gaining independence in 1947, India’s policymakers or politicians didn’t improve basic human needs like jobs, housing, education, healthcare. Yes, india is diverse or big enough country to solve these problems is a huge challenge. Moreover, average income of rural residents, we can’t even imagine could be $10 per month. One major issue is India never truly industrialized, there was a golden opportunity in the 70's and 80's where India could have opened up removed red tape and bureaucracy made it easier for industry, but the govt's back then were on socialist fantasies, the economy opened up in 91 when this oppurtunity had passed, and it was done only because the iMF asked india to do it to avoid going bankrupt. But still so much bureaucracy remains and it obviously leads to corruption, if you have to get signatures from 100 officials who make you run around to set up somethign, it discourages people from setting up shop

Seems like its easy to get an IT guys for 15k/month but its very tough to get a plumber, painter, carpenter, electrician, AC repair etc., not less than 1000-1200/day. Therefore. my suggestion to unemployed youth is to learn these handy man jobs and become professionals in that area. If you are pro then you can make 30,000/month easily in your local places. Pl don't stick to your diploma/engineering degrees and wait forever.
    I recently visited Europe and USA, there people with college degrees does handyman jobs and they feel proud of their work with dignity of labor. I see most of the Muslims are learning and settling their life's easily but Hindus are feeling shy to enter. My barber is a Muslim boy. Muslims feel proud about their work. I think Hindu parents need to change their mindset and encourage their kids to be independent at least by the time they turn 21 years old.
