Portraits of the Wives of the last Sultans of the Ottoman Empire Brought to Life using AI Technology

  • The Ottoman Empire left an indelible mark on history. Although for a long time it was left without attention, eventually justice prevailed and the incredible success of the cult series "The Magnificent Century" is proof of that.
According to critics, the atmosphere of the series does not quite accurately convey the realities of the Ottoman Empire. As for us, we will focus on how the wives of the last sultans of the empire, which almost brought the whole of Europe to its knees, looked like in real life. After all, behind every decision of even the mightiest man, there is the will of his woman!

The music background is not real Turkish classical music, it seems that it is fiction and made by another culture which is so foreign to the real one or a modernized adaptation workout. There are so many different note arrays in Turkish classical music which have their names according to their features and is a pioneer work to learn them properly and takes years to learn. There are also so many composers have shaped the music during centuries, even after the empire ends off, during republican era, until today. If you get interested in these works, please write "osmanlı saray musikisi" on youtube searching box for ottoman period, and please write ""Türk Sanat Müziği" for the republican era. Thank you for the video. 😊🙋‍♀️

Majority of these women trapped in harem never loved Sultan,it was necessary that they had to sleep with sultan in order to stay in power,in order to create a better atmosphere or security for their children... they were just s£x sl@ves to Sultan, and most of them were depressed...it's the "historical" dramas that sugarcoat their lives, make it seem enjoyable or passionate...these poor poor women in history had to fight day and night with their other counterparts or competitors to survive their lives and protect their children,so many jealous and depressed hearts captivated in a lavish golden cage where there's no sunshine, where there's no mother or father or siblings, only hazy memories of their family, how they got captivated by these monsters...I feel so bad for them 😣

@@swastikqjana7128 Yes and no.Some women grew up n Harem since their childhood and didn't know any better. The girls got education and other skills there. If they were smart and pretty they were married for a political purpose.Mainly they were protected in Harem. Many documented stories show even if they fled and became eventually single mothers or widows they were welcomed back to live the rest of their lives in Harem.Yes, jealousy and intrigue existed but not more than these days...

As I watch these faces , maybe I'm the only one who sees this, but most of all are from noble families and possibly their families sent them to the sultan's harem.
They are different of sultanas , let's say 400-500 years back. The difference is in their beauty.
If one looks at the old times sultanas those were extremely beautiful. This latest aren't.
The reason, in my opinion is the fact, that tatars and others back in those times kidnapped very many girls in east Europe, pirates in Balcans. From these girls the most beautifuls got into harem.
In 1800's this practice was long time over, so less beautiful girls reached the harem.

They were not wives back then. Becoming a wife, requires marriage. And Ottoman Sultan couldn't marry. Yes that was the rule.
So there was concubinage system. These concubines / slaves were considered halal for the Master/King.
He could have sexual relationship with them, have children from them. Actually that was the main purpose of this system to impregnate multiple women in order to get more male heirs, to continue the bloodline and to keep princes ready to ascend the throne.
These Sultans had numerous children from several slaves of his harem.
Hope I conveyed my point 🌸🌸

Why didn't you leave them in their attire as they appear in their captured images?
The one with the exaggerated grey stroke???? You placed it in the wrong place.
This concept is fascinating BUT!!! do not alter their hair & authenticity reflecting their timeline. Takes away 💥A LOT💥 from your production.
We wanna' see what they ACTUALLY looked like. Not some modern-day version!

Sultan Süleyman spent only 4 years of his reign in the palace. Sultans were marrying Turkish girls, but he was inheriting the treasury and office. The girl's family was having troubles. There is the Sultan who fell in love with a Turkish girl and was sentenced to marry a slave.
