How Did Esteban Ocon Beat Fernando Alonso?

In this video, I talked about how an incredible driver like Fernando Alonso lost to Esteban Ocon. The accuracy of the word LOST is definitely debatable because, as I explained in the video, Alonso was faster than Ocon. However, since the person who scored the most points at the end of the season was Esteban Ocon, we can say that he technically won. After all, who races better does not affect the fact that the person who crosses the finish line first wins the race. I'm waiting for your opinions about this video.

If you ask a defense of Ocon, maybe I can be of help.
Hearing of agressiveness when talking of Ocon does make me smile, because Ocon is very fair compared to Verstappen. He does not try suicidal manoeuvres and almost always leaves a space. You did put the right example contradicting your opinion at 2:40. Ocon is on the inside and REMAINS on the inside, while Alonso is on the outside and searches agressively for the inside which is already occupied. Just analyze objectively this move as if it were two unknown cars with unknown drivers and you will find that Ocon did nothing wrong here. Alonso is similar in that way, hard and fair although he can be quite agressive as in the sprint in Brazil 2022 where he sticks very closed to Ocon until the invetable collision -and blames him afterwards, quite funny-.
Before you mention the history of Ocon, I also suggest you see the history of Alonso. He had very few problems because he crushed most of his teammates. The only exceptions are Button, Hamilton and Ocon. In all theses cases, Alonso criticized, applied agressive manoeuvres and used political means to crush his teammate when he could not dominate him on the track.
Concerning reliability, it indeed plagued Alpine in 2022. The main issue was the faulty engine cooling pump that was responsible of 70% of technical retirements of Alpine (www.motorsinside.com/en/f1/news/29069-laurent-rossi-knows-how-solve-60-70-of-renaults-engine-reliability-problems-next-year.html). A remarquable example is Mexico 2022 where engine cooling is difficult due to the height. Alonso was way quicker than Ocon on this track. Yet, Ocon was managing cooling issues during the whole race (www.racefans.net/2022/11/01/ocon-managed-critical-engine-concerns-to-avoid-double-alpine-retirement/). On the other hand, Alonso was way quicker... until his engine blew up. Coincidence ?
Alonso did not care about Alpine (never did) and just tried to get as close as possible the mercedes ahead waiting a late safety car. He did not care if he made Alpine loose points at the championship because he was just racing for himself (as he always has). Now, what do you think of the other races ? Some technical problems may be hazardous, but some retirements may just be the sole result of the driver choice.
Maybe I am wrong on the whole line, but it will offer an alternative opinion on the events occuring at Alpine in 2022.
