Gaijin will turn this thing into a joke sooner or later. Half the Japanese tech tree is overtiered because their tanks do merely *one* thing better, even if they pay for it by lacking in other areas. See: Japanese WW2 tanks. -Enough armor to activate APHE, not enough to protect against the BR's AA guns. -The size and agility of heavy tanks -Meh reloads for a 75mm -No capped shell, making it very easy to nonpen when you have volumetric armor/janky server netcode to factor in. -The APHE they use is probably modeled incorrectly, despite being incredibly lethal on penetration - spall patterns for APHE rounds are often different in many military documents. TL;DR Japanese vehicles are overtiered due to good player stats. The Chi Nu II is essentially a Panzer IV F2 but 1.3 BRs higher, even with a premium status.
@@geroni211 the aviation tech tree is slightly more understandable. Japanese planes are very maneuverable and there are plenty of Germans and Americans that will try to turn fight you.
3rd gen Thermals and lrf. + great mobility. Wisel and this are both fine at their respective br’s, coming from a german main that takes the wisel out in 10.0
Remember when warthunder was a ww2 game? Or at least halfway decently balanced vehicles for their br and time. not 1970s autoguns slinging apds at ww2 tiger1s, panthers, halftracks, prop planes, etc. Like yea warthunder had cold war vehicles way back in the day, the t54s and the is3s and is4s. But they werent ever apds, stabilized, guns with tracks flying around the battlefield and drifting around tanks. At this point gaijin needs implement a different match maker cause this is getting ridiculous. Can't even play any of the old heavy weight vehicles anymore cause even below their br there's now faster, stabilized guns with apds and apfsds that cut through there armour. Can't even really play tanks like the Is-4 or the Maus cause their main thing which is their armour is nulled by the existance of something that can cut through there armour from across the map. Now with more and more stuff like this it's getting to the point that playing certain nations at different brs is just. pointless
Please dont take this the wrong way, but I tend to stop watching to the end as it's just too boring watching a tank kill things with music along. Thought you might appreciate to know since tehre are so many others doing the exact same thing.
