Yea I hope, because it is actually historical tank, there was a mockup made with engine only, but abandoned and scrapped because engine problems.
I'm not sure. Gaijin is Gaijin, so it's a high propability that we won't get it. Maybe as an even vehicle.
fun fact: this tank has the lowest velocity round in the game. the 70mm HEAT shell travels at a velocity of only 200 m/s

There was a Match a few days ago with a Lvl 100 Player with the Name: Master of Ro-Go. It was his third most played Vehicle with over 600 Matches or something. Truly a Master of Ro-Go.

I’m so glad someone is finally giving this beast some attention. Despite it being the lowest performing of the multi turret premiums I find it to be one of my most fun vehicles. Really enjoyed this video. :)

Lobbing HE and HEAT rounds is so much fun. Especially once you get a good feel for the gun/shell velocity and the projectile arc. The M109 Paladin, the M-51 (Israeli Funny Sherman with a long-barreled 105 mm firing a HEAT shell with 400 mm of pen), and other derp cannons.

If I had a nickel for every tech tree that had no heavy tanks aside from premiums, including a Tiger, I'd have two nickels. Not a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
I guess technically, the P26/40 is a heavy tank (P for Pesante, meaning heavy) by Italian standards. Wish we could get the P30/43 and P43 bis, but those were never actually completed.

At the time their tank development was in the preschool faze, so it`s acceptable.
Everyone was heavily influenced by the British philosophy and tank design aka muti-turret platform cus at that time nobody could comprehend what a tank battle was, mostly these metal beasts facing were infantry and wires

the problem was that while plane and ship engineering were very much a specialized branch of engineering, tank design was not. so their society that had barely begun to dip its toes into mass production at a truly modern scale had a very tough time coming up with anything decent from scratch especially when the former two branches got way more money for R&D. meanwhile their planes and ships were some of the best.

If you bind the “select secondary weapon” in the controls menu, you’ll get a crosshair for the secondary weapon as well as using your default fire button to fire it

Imho non of the above come close to dollar. I mean not accuracy and overall stats, but editing skills and effort put in videos. As for accuracy, there was a player, generaw chaos, that mofo was a deadshot, but somehow he disappeared.

The only thing i can really ask for now at top tier is better CAS ~ Which Japan on its own can't get realistically for now ;-; Pretty sure until the F-2 (only recently) i believe they never had any sort of JDAM's...

I got the Ro-Go and the Ha-Go Commander to help me grind the start of Japanese tech tree, but struggle with them so hard I usually get most kills with the AA (as is tradition). Thank you for showing us how it's done!!

We could get the Type 91 heavy at 1.0. Its like the type 95 but with only one main gun and the secondary turrets just have machine guns. Other than that O-I is the only other heavy missing for Japan that isn't made up or just blueprints.

I got this thing with a discount from a trophy and it's so much fun to play with the kachi in the lineup. Btw you can set up keybinds to switch to primary and secondary gun which makes you switch to the sight of the turret you selected it's a lot easier
I have them set. I tried switching guns in the beginning, but it didn't work well for me, so I just stopped doing it
Ro-Go was my first prem tank because of a sale coupon. I look back on it it fondly. Truely a learning experience.

for these multi turret tanks I reccomend you have a bind to cycle through the weapons or similar. Good for the B1 to get that deadly hull cannon on point for example

My favorite tank in the Japanese tech tree is the Ho-Ni Type-III really represents how I feel most of the time and it has a good gun in that BR.

with 1.3 br and the 35mm of armor on the front means that you will probably bounce nearly all french rounds... maybe other too.

The only other heavy tank (that we actually know was made) that could be added is the Type 91, wich is the predecesor to the type 95. Main differrences are that the front turret only has a mg instead of a 37mm, the main turret had or a 57 or the 70mm (most likely the 57mm that is also found on the chi-ha and i-go-ko) and the armor was lighter with a max thickness of 20mm frontally instead of 35mm.
could be a nice 1.0 tank, but is somewhat useless as it would most likely be worse then the chi-ha medium.. or it could replace the I-go-ko as a reserve vehicles (cause the i-go-ko is just to sad and painfull for reserve xD)

The Type 91 first mounted 57mm, then upgraded to the 70mm. So it would be possible to add multiple variants of it. I'd actually think neither would be useless as both of these cannons perform pretty good since their HEAT was added, could add a bit of variety at 1.0
And then there is the O-I, which is known to have been partially completed. Partially since the roofplate wasn't finished, preventing the main turret from being mounted during testing. Before it could be fully completed Japan came to their senses and realized that the project lacked practical use and scrapped it. A tracklink is the only thing left of the tank today and can be found at the Wakajishi shrine in Fujinomiya, Japan.
Pretty much more than enough to be added considering something like a Yak-141 or Kronshtadt have been in similarly incomplete states. Having no images should also not be an issue, conisidering it has fairly detailed plans that can be used. The Ostwind II has neither images nor plans, so it seems only fair to accept the O-I.

Slower big heat shells can sometimes have interesting ballistics , you can fling it up and over hills if you can spot an enemy , & they can never even try to hit back , you just become artillery fire ! this especially works well with German 15cm & Shturmtiger ! It's fun . 😅

next time you play a multi turret vehicle like this, remember to have a key binding to take control of the secondary armament.
