A simple question, I know you are an Apple user so you should know the featured vitals so here it comes the question: the information gathered with the ring can be used in the vitals feature of Apple Health or you must use the Apple Watch?
I'm literally wearing an Ultrahuman ring right now that I received 3 days ago. I had to charge it last night because the battery couldn't make it a full 3 days, despite UH claiming a 6-day battery life. Pathetic. Many many complaints of false advertising and bad firmware. I just ordered my gen 2 Ringconn last night. Can't wait.
I'm sorry but what good are these trackers for, except to tell you what you already know? Great, my stress score is a 999, so that just stresses me out more! Yep, the app says I only got 6 hours of mediocre sleep, which I already knew, so I can have that confirmed to drive my stress score higher. Stopped using my apple watch to track my workouts, because knowing the data ain't gonna change a da**ed thing 🤣
@@Cincy75805 to encourage you to readjust your habits. Sleep in earlier, take it easy that day don't be so discouraged if you aren't so productive, don't eat close to bed time etc… etc..
It's good to do experiments with. I for example found that by eating after 8-9pm my sleep score would drop significantly, now I am more aware about it. Or if you have a good consistent workout schedules your sleep tends to improve, and so on. But overall I agree with you. I used Oura for 2+ years, gathered all the data with experiments as much as possible and then just gifted it to my friend. It became an obsession with numbers for me, and low sleep score would ruin my day mentally lol. Ignorance is bliss in that regard 😂
Its definitely been a net positive for my wife and I (Max) There are days I don't want to look at my scores and stats because I know I had terrible sleep and I don't want to know the hours lol, but in general its helpful. I've worked on when I go to bed and wake up, eating and what I eat/drink in order to help, and take it easy on some days or work harder on others. Its up to you if you use the data to improve your life, or don't do anything about it.
Ideally you would use those metrics to track improvements in your lifestyle in order make those numbers better lol instead of just being like "my health sucks, oh well!"
I think having data to look back on and identify is important. - steps: I didn’t realize I was walking less than 1400 total steps in a day. I now try to get close or above 10,000. That’s changed my life. - sleep monitor: turns out I have sleep apnea. That explains my entire life - lack of energy, irritability, lethargy, heart palpitations, insomnia, developmental issues etc… I was able to get diagnosed and helped. - Calorie tracker: understanding my total calories burned has been a game changer. I feel extremely accomplished when I hit my goals. I could go in depth more but At the end of the day it’s not the device - it’s you. You have such a negative outlook on it. If it’s telling you you’re stressed, do something to fix it. And it will show you if it worked! But not by just “feeling” like it worked but actually seeing measurable data. Again, it’s not the tool, it’s how it’s being used. A saw is a saw regardless of it being in the hands of a master woodworker or a hobby DIY’er. But the results each person can get with the same tool is what makes the difference!

Thinner. Lighter. Less wide. Better battery life.

@@MaxTechOfficialany cons?
@@jkl6868no, not really. Some people like Oura’s app more than Ringconn’s.
@@jkl6868 too expensive
@@MaxTechOfficialI love everything about it EXCEPT the less wide! I’m a big guy (think NFL defensive lineman) and I hate skinny rings 😊
This guy is excited like he'd woke up after 10 years under the stone.

I didn’t know sleep is considered a competition.
It is now
Everyone waiting on the Apple ring
It would be great if they invented a beautiful necklace🔅🔅
What about the Xiaomi R08 smart ring with health, touch, display, charging box?
All for a 10th of the price? And also no contract.
No data privacy would be the major issue with Xiaomi.
People are happy these days to be tracked in anything and everything … I don’t know even if this is healthy …

Yes it is. I just purchased one with my FSA.

You have to paid for your data which is a no go..💯🗣️
Don’t be silly and look up the real number of monitors used to monitor quality of sleep at real hospitals.
