Tensor are not for even average users.. The incapacity of this processor makes it less sustainable than other phones with flagship processor...I buy a phone to use at least for 3 years but tensor nearly dies after 1 year.
This is BS, even a snapdragon 622 from 5 years ago and wasn't even a flagship back then is still pretty much usable now. The tensor 4 even the 3 is like 3 times faster than than, why do you think the chip is bad when pretty much 90 percent of the user would think it's a pretty fast phone. Not everyone is gonna play games graphics intensive games on their smart phones. Stop the cap!

I upgraded to the Pixel 7 with Tensor G2 at launch and almost 3 years later, still running like a champ. No slow downs, no lag, it's been great the whole time. Are Tensor chips as good as Snapdragon chips when it comes to raw power? No. But when it comes to day to day tasks, the Tensor chips definitely aren't slow and they perform very well. In fact since switching to Pixels I've noticed they actually hold up much better software wise then any other Android phones I've used... Including Samsung. But this has only been my experience.
I don't think that's true.. I'm still using my pixel 8 even though I'm not going to lie it's heats under high weather conditions and intensifies usage.. But I have never felt like oh, I need a new phone.. Because I game with my phone, I took both my nephew's and sister's birthday photos with it and no one even noticed... I have also made videos with it and no one even noticed it was a phone or an android device... The phone is serving me so much that I was like I will wait till pixel 10 before I get a new pixel.. I don't know but for me I have enjoyed my pixel usage and upgraded from pixel 3xl to pixel 8 so yeah I have had a good experience with my pixel..

I think as always, updates to cameras will come with tweeks for the S25. I don't have a problem with it...I ordered one in Navy by trading in an iphone 15Pro that was just sitting in my nightstand...I'm not a big fan of iOS, however the rest of the family is...bless RCS and What'sApp!

The tensor processor is really bad but the pixel does take better photo but i rarely take photos, so i will choose samsung s25 it has better processor and it is lighter and more compact.

I still get 5-6hrs screen on time with it.. And play CODm and eFootball with it.. Absolutely agree. The only thing preventing me from switching to Pixel is the SoC. Simply not worth the price for a CPU that is barely faster than S22.

well I wanted a s24 but decided to wait a couple of months since we got exynos in Europe so Im not disappointed. I also prefer the minimalist design of the s25 as well as the beast of a processor for gaming
Same I come from s22 with the terrible exynos, when I looked at the power draw and performance of the S24 one it was still terrible. Thankfully this year we don't just get snapdragon, but even a huge jump over the last gen, both in performance and efficiency!

"If your pictures aren't good enough, you're not close enough". That's a common problem with cell phone photography, and that's why the telephoto is so important if you want to take great photos. S25 all the way if you want to take brilliant photos in everyday scenarios.
Personally I'd be learning towards the Galaxy as it's software offers tons more customizability than the Pixel. Pixel is probably the least customizable Android variant (can't even hide the search widget in the stock launcher) whereas Galaxy with Good Lock is probably the most customizable Android variant.
The thing is, Samsung has the best trade in offer than any other company. You get all your trade in and pre-order taken off from the price before you pay, limiting the cost in tax. With Google, you pay the full price including full tax, making it expensive. For example, I bought the S24 last year but with lower storage, 128, I decided to trade it in to increase the storage and instead of paying 1,288 CAD with tax, I only paid 422 including tax. Imagine paying 1,288 plus tax as Google would do before you get your pre-order benefits and trade in out later.
Who cares about 8K recording seriously. Even 4K... It consumes battery, storage and is useless if you don't watch your 4K videos on huge screen. So it's a niche. Both phones are a disappointement. Won't buy any.
I have the pixel 7 currently. Photos in daylight is fine but other than that. It's trash and video quality is meh. My contract is up in November so I'll be looking at the s24 ultra maybe
I can confidently say, Samsung is on the way out. Maybe not right away but I can clearly see them riding that downward spiral and dropping out of the smartphone game in the coming 3-5 years.

As a Samsung user, I am impressed by how smooth and easy going is the Pixel 9. No extra useless Samsung apps, no keyboard issues compared to iPhone keyboard. The way Google keyboard works on pixel 9 is as enjoyable as the iPhone keyboard. It's pretty clear why most of the people going for pixel are ex iPhone users like me ten years ago. For the last ten years I enjoyed Samsung cellphones, but there was always something missing from iPhone. I feel the Pixel 9 as enjoyable as an iPhone, with the efficiency of an Android, without some of the annoying issues from Galaxy. To me, the little extra performance of Galaxy doesn't make the difference anymore, but the smoothness and simplicity of pixel makes all the difference, not to mention it's AI.
