The drive in. My God I miss my childhood. I remember my mom taking me and my friends. She would make popcorn, and buy some soda's which were in the ice chest. We would pack our sleeping bags, and our chairs. On Tuesdays they would have a special on car loads of people, and sell pizzas for half price. We would get there early, go to the playground and play, then head to the car to watch the double feature. Oh those were the days.

Any film that has Jack Elam, Dub Taylor and Dennis Fimple in it is streets ahead even before the cameras start rolling...loved it, thanks for showing it

My brother-in-law Roy Tatum was the creature and young Orville's dad that died in the car crash, young Orville was my nephew Chase Tatum. If you listen real close you can hear my sister calling Chase (young Orville) through the woods. My brother was in the diner scene wearing the red hat. My dad was the executive producer aka the money Man behind it. If you listen real close in the hospital scene you can hear them page my dad. That was at my dad's office across from Centenary college. The crew thought it be funny to put his name in there. By the way The movie scared me as a young boy
People had kill animals just to kill because they but now nature is paying back in wether floods ; tornados; the best thing on this was the song on the last of it

It was good enough that I remembered this movie well from when I was 18, or 48 or 49 years ago. I also liked the closing song. Thanks for putting it out!
Pretty sure Fritz the Night Owl still hosts movies at some theatre down in Cincinnati, OH. Not sure if they're held every weekend, or once a month, but Fritz is still at it on his website. One thing's for sure, with all the sucky reality TV that's clearly scripted, and the infomercials, Night Owl Theatre could make a very successful come back now! 🤘

I've never seen this movie before, it just goes to show how many movies there are out there; I thought this was terrific effort from everyone involved, in front and behind the camera. As soon as I saw that Dean Cundey was the DOP I had an idea it would be worth watching, and dear old Jack Elam - you don't see talent like that anymore. Thank you for the upload. I've been looking for this movie for years! My uncle took me and my sister to see this at the drive-in. I couldn't remember the name of the movie but the scene with the van rolling over stuck with me. This movie, Jaws and Gray Lady Down fueled my childhood nightmares.
What a pleasant surprise ! I thoght it was going to be a badly acted, cheap budget film. Excellent picture, sound, colour and two old time actors that were 'stars' in their day and still could teach a thing or two about acting. . Thank you for the upload. Well worth the watch.
As teenager many many moons ago- I worked at a local restaurant as a “ bus boy( person)” who assisted the waitresses with removing dishes from tables of customers having completed their meals-I saw celebrities occasionally- and one time I met Dub Taylor- got autographs for my Mom and I - when I got home I gave it Mom - she was impressed and thankful- Dub Taylor was a great Actor -and Mom had seen many of his movies- just a memory from back “ in the day.”
I was a busboy back in 1980, as and '81. Summers. Hard job for me, since I was starting to develop eczema, and I had not yet found a dermatologist. Dub. Just saw a pic of him from his Navy days. He was young once, too! Great that you got an autograph for your Mom.
I didn’t know I would enjoy this movie so much! I love the old movie charm, the actors, no pretentiousness, the Bigfoot was also scary. I would definitely watch it again! 👍

Actually, this was pretty good, for what it is. I wasn't quite expecting this to even be watchable, considering what 'Dark Corners Reviews' channel, had rated it. Even Jack Elam (who kinda sucks, with his one-depth personality) was entertaining, and believable. He, AND Dub Taylor (another single, layered actor) played, their parts well. I grew up years ago, watching almost every Bigfoot type of film, I could see, but this is seriously, one of the best.
I just love horror / monster movies with no social commentary or politics, which prevades contemporary films in the same genres. Can't we just have some horror for the sake of ...horror?
Hey talking about getting in to a good movie , got to the part early where the two men pulled in to get gas . They did not show it but gas back then was only 70 cents a gallon . I am 54 and I know it was a long time ago but man the movie seeing it is like going back . Seems like yesterday for me for all the memories it brought back. Really good ones!

This is one of maybe THREE Bigfoot/Yeti movies that are actually good, fun to watch, and well acted. The other two would be (in my opinion) “The Abominable Snowman” from Hammer films, and “The Legend of Boggy Creek”. Each of these three films explores the topic in its own unique way.
Cinematographer Dean Cundey built the monster makeup himself! Co-Star Dennis Fimple appeared in many genre films, including a featured role as “Sunfish” in Dino Di Laurentiis’ 1976 “King Kong” remake, which is also not half bad, and worth checking out.
It was a funny thing that happened on set with Mr Fimple which is what I called him because I was 10 years old. When The scene was that they were jump up out of bed and run out of the barn, he didn't have his skivvies on so they had to stop and get him some. He was a great person for sure
This is 2023, the film was made what 1970's? I think I was in OK when I watched it, maybe, while visiting. Then in mid 80's, I relocated to North Louisiana, Bienville Parish. You live there, out of town, kind of in the woods, actually in the woods, it gives this movie more meaning.
I remember the trailer for this movie scared me. My uncle wanted all of us to go to the drive inn to see it. I was 6 in 1976. I didn't watch all of it. I was too busy playing on the little playground they had in the back. Ill never forget the level of fear i had from just the trailer on TV
San Francisco was pretty nice back then. It hadn't the problem with homeless in downtown it has today. But even now (My friend lives near the modern church called St. Mary of the Maytag It looks like the inside of a washing machine). His neighborhood is perfectly safe and while expensive (he pays for a small single room with shared facilities what I pay for a three-room apartment with a sunny deck in Portland, ME) he makes very good money. He is still working; I have been retired for 17 years. I lived in Cambridge, not Boston - There is a HUGE difference. @@ronalddunne3413
As Cryptozoology related films go on the topic of Bigfoot, the present popular repeated reports were, for the most part, save for the artistic movie drama, were on target. I could've used much more of the acting talents of Jack Elam and character actor Dub Taylor . The ending lacked but all and all was worth the watch. Thumbs 👍 up.
These 1970s Bigfoot movies 🍿🎥 far better than the ones now....I grew up with all of them.....they stood the test of time 😊...wow is with me watching this in 2024😊....One message... Bigfoot is Real...we have them in our state of California...😊....we grew up knowing about this 😊

I'm 63 and I seen this movie when I was just a kid. I've seen it 50 times after and I love it. Jack Elam, Dub Taylor and the 2 Yankees Great movie!!!

Wow, it brings back old memories. I saw this when I was in junior high. The scene with the two dogs stands out in my mind, which terrified me.

Dennis Fimple is funny as hell in this ! What a great actor! I also loved him in “House of 1000 Corpses” 🤓
It was a funny thing that happened on set with Mr Fimple which is what I called him because I was 10 years old. When The scene was that they were jump up out of bed and run out of the barn, he didn't have his skivvies on so they had to stop and get him some. He was a great person for sure

This is the most 1976 creature film ive ever seen. Bad music. Bad clothing. Bad music. Bad script. Horrible acting. I love it!
