The drive in. My God I miss my childhood. I remember my mom taking me and my friends. She would make popcorn, and buy some soda's which were in the ice chest. We would pack our sleeping bags, and our chairs. On Tuesdays they would have a special on car loads of people, and sell pizzas for half price. We would get there early, go to the playground and play, then head to the car to watch the double feature. Oh those were the days.

My brother-in-law Roy Tatum was the creature and young Orville's dad that died in the car crash, young Orville was my nephew Chase Tatum. If you listen real close you can hear my sister calling Chase (young Orville) through the woods. My brother was in the diner scene wearing the red hat. My dad was the executive producer aka the money Man behind it. If you listen real close in the hospital scene you can hear them page my dad. That was at my dad's office across from Centenary college. The crew thought it be funny to put his name in there. By the way The movie scared me as a young boy

San Francisco was pretty nice back then. It hadn't the problem with homeless in downtown it has today. But even now (My friend lives near the modern church called St. Mary of the Maytag It looks like the inside of a washing machine). His neighborhood is perfectly safe and while expensive (he pays for a small single room with shared facilities what I pay for a three-room apartment with a sunny deck in Portland, ME) he makes very good money. He is still working; I have been retired for 17 years. I lived in Cambridge, not Boston - There is a HUGE difference. @@ronalddunne3413

This is the most 1976 creature film ive ever seen. Bad music. Bad clothing. Bad music. Bad script. Horrible acting. I love it!

As Cryptozoology related films go on the topic of Bigfoot, the present popular repeated reports were, for the most part, save for the artistic movie drama, were on target.
I could've used much more of the acting talents of Jack Elam and character actor Dub Taylor .
The ending lacked but all and all was worth the watch. Thumbs 👍 up.

I have never heard of this movie until now, but if it has Jack Elam in it, I'm ready to try. Especially with Dub Taylor along for the ride.

Jack was probably strapped for cash… he usually did more memorable flicks than this… just saying.

@@Slo-ryde I remember seeing him with Willie Nelson in a TV movie on CBS. They had some decent dialogue going back and forth.
