@sghost77 I didn't know that. I knew they flew 300s from the video but not that they flew 200s. Great video by the way. You can never have enough cockpit videos on the web! Did they let you into the cockpit to film the landing?
Great video !!.. thanks ... !! BTW IF (!) it is a simulator .. I will eat my shorts !!, AND I will (gladly) congratulate and buy a drink for whoever designed this simulation !! !! LOVE to lovely MEXICO !! from UK !! ..
@harderleft9893 I think so because it doesn't have the steam gauge engine instruments or ADI. It also has a full navigation display with the map that displays the CDU way point inputs as opposed to a heading indicator right underneath the ADI.
@MartinNeep, hi I think is because they landing semi automatic I mean when autopilot is only in A mode it locates the ils but it doesn't make the auto land so you have land the plane, for auto land you need A/B mode both on
Hermano una pregunta si piloto acumula 2000 horas en el extranjero y después regresa a México, les hacen válidas esas horas? Gracias y excelente video!!
I think if they are landing in Mexico it makes sense to speak the native language since it would reduce even safety issues in misunderstandings ..I would think
ICAO has 6 approved languages: English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Russian, and Chinese. Find out before you show how ignorant you are. And even languages like Polish, Turkish and some more are used in aviation radio comms, as long as both sides (ATC and pilots) are fluent in them, they can be used in native country. But of course if an US pilot flies there, they will use English for primary comms. Noone prohibits usage of other languages!!!
They can speak spanish because spanish is an oficial ICAO language. Likewise for french, chinese, portuguese and russian. Look up your ICAO documentations.
They arent following international air traffic control guidelines by speaking spanish....they should be using the international standard of english. Dont think thats right? Look it up.
The production and sounds of the engines of the descend approach and land, performed by the Pilots is Simply SOOOO amazing

Capi una duda, por qué no ponen los 40 de flaps? o es normal que siempre los aterricen con 30?? excelente vídeo (:
como le hicistes para estar en la cabina de los pilotos?
Now, I am not a pilot (although I would love to be one), but is it just me or were they a bit fast on touchdown?
ATC operations are conducted either in English or the language used by the station on the ground.
Welcome capt

Tower clear to land Capt
what aircraft is it?
B737 Classic for those wondering :)
737-300?
Do you say this on every video?
When the A/P was flying the approach, how come only A/P A was engaged?
i think it was a"Manual Landing"
We don't know if it is 737-300, -400, -500. We know only that it is a 737 Classic so it could be any of them.
The Engine gauges look unfamiliar.
Welcome

As much as that's understandable to do, it does not provide good situational awareness for non-spanish speaking pilots.
