I'm sure I remember seeing some ad on Facebook for a cortisol meter. It was gross as you had to spit into it to take a reading. I can't find it now, but if that exists, then it's the closest I can see of a way to regularly test our testosterone at home. There's also ways to test your stress using HRV that probably correlates with testosterone, though it's only a proxy analysis.

I couldn't jump higher than 1,50m or something, so he told me he set the bar lower but he actually set it higher like 1,55 and I could jump it without any problems cuz I thought it was lower, then he told me how he did it on purpose and how the belief of jumping that height affected me. Med Student here. This is way less wishy washy than you believe. Testosterone production is essentially controlled by the brain through a bunch of intermediate steps, just like other hormones too. Psychological influences on hormone regulation are well known and researched, it's no wonder that mindset influences Testosterone levels. Call it nerd stuff or whatever but there's reliable sources on this.
It's even more pronounced in height. Kids' growth is documented routinely at paediatric examinations and too slow growth requires looking for potential causes. Few people are aware of this but besides malnutrition and genetic diseases, depression, ptsd and other mental health issues in childhood and youth can cause growth reduction in the tens of centimeters. This is again oversimplified, but how it essentially works is by the brain limiting growth hormone production and causing early closure of growth plates in bones.

    • @muahdosh
      @muahdosh 2 года назад +124

@Patrick It doesn't work like that. Especially after roughly age 16. Having severe depression or trauma in childhood can limit growth, but a healthy childhood allows you to reach your "true" genetic height. There's no way to go beyond this purely by mental affirmations or stuff like that.

I agree 1000% on this. Best thing to raise your testosterone is to stop all forms of anxious thoughts. Do whatever you want in this life and stop stressing over everything including your test levels.
Eat big and healthy, train regularly, have sex, win, lead and believe in yourself. The more you think the more you sink.
I went from 390ngl feeling like crap af at the time. Anxious and depressed for sure but then I learnt not to give a single fck… and 6 months later I’m at 820ngl jacked and toned, crazy sex drive, much more energy, and focused. Changed my life around just by a change of thoughts and action. Your test levels are productive to how you think and act! Stop trying niche ways to raise it as your stress/cortisol works opposite to testosterone.
Try this out and see how good you fcking feel. Stop stressing over little bs in life take care of your body and don’t ingest/inhale dumb shit.

It's amazing how much small lifestyle changes can influence overall testosterone. I gave up alcohol because it was having a negative impact on my workouts and the results I was getting from the gym and making me more susceptible to binge eating after, more susceptible to PMO, making me lazy to workout and even if I did, it wouldn't be as effective. Just taking out that one factor has had a domino effect on overall testosterone. I feel amazing when every week ends, compounding results rather than having to start over from scratch, like I usually had to before when I was drinking over the weekends, better control and sticking to no fap. Take back control.

I grow a little bit of facial hair above my lip and on my chin. Everyone in my family can grow a full beard so that's not the issue. I also don't have full amounts of body hair yet. I will probably still keep developing for the next few years.

Estrogen isn’t the opposite of testosterone per se,
If your estrogen levels are higher than average you’re more likely to have higher than average testosterone levels because they need to stay in a certain ratio one to another.
Also the growth of breast tissue in puberty is due to high androgens and because of it high estrogen

I never tested my testosterone but I would guess it's in the average to high range, I feel confident in my own skin, have a very high libido, and always feel fresh in the gym. To be fair I lift for almost 8 years now, I started at 14 years old and I am soon turning 22 this year. Just recently I noticed a big change in my body where I could definitely tell that my testosterone increased, I just fell better and more powerful than ever before. Fasting, only water, zinc, vitamin d3 were game-changers for me personally. Also like Hamza mentioned, I feel like if you manipulate your own brain by telling yourself you are the greatest and youare better than everyone else you will increase your testosterone. Others will say you are becoming a narcissistic but in my opinion loving yourself a bit too much is better than hating yourself too much. Manifestation is definitely a real thing, if you keep telling yourself you suck you get depressed and obviously testosterone sinks. If everything sucks but you still tell yourself everything is fine and you are the greatest you become tougher than before, your testosterone probably increased. Fake it till you make it baby.

It reminds me of one of my lessons on my psychology studies. I have a subject called "Emotions and motivation". We were asked once to do 2 exercises:
    - we were told to do some pose that wasn't comfortable and think about our biggest success in life,
    - we had to constantly jump and wave our hands and say out loud "I feel bad", "I feel sad", "I am useless" etc.
    What were the results?
It was much more harder to think about the success of our life when in pain and unconfortable position.
And when jumping it was literally not possible to be at any way sad or depressed.
So yeah, your emotions and your attitude can change EVERYTHING!

I said yes, and he basically told me that all the other symptoms aren't good enough to get treatment. its pretty f'd. I was only 29 at the time and had the test of a 60yr old. I've been dieting and exercising religiously. Got tested again and am in the high 300s. Its pretty S***** that men cant get the help they need because of the regulations based on what society says is normal

there's a reason doctors decide not to treat with drugs until some points. They have to follow guidelines or are legally much more responsible for a misuse if they can't justify a "good practice". Souce: I'm one

Or society just wants to keep us weak, submissive, depressed and demotivated. Better to keep us slaves. I my opinion if you are not hitting at least 400 people should get treatment. Not necessary drug in the first place but should be plans in place to try first and if that don't work should go on drugs, TRT, whatever. You may can try go private if you can afford.

The power of placebo is insane, so I entirely believe what you said.
Once I drank like 4 cans of mojito soda and I started feeling a bit tipsy and I thought "damn.. what's the % of alcohol in those cans??". Those cans were 0% alcohol lmao...
As soon as I realized there was no alcohol, I instantly sobered up.
It felt so strange.. but since then, I really believe in placebo.

I came hear to increase my testosterone but HAMZA that was a life changing advice. I to relate to that.
    Let me share my experience
I was stuck on 150kgs deadlift for about 2 month and I was about to leave the gym because my family told me to, I was about to leave the town and go for my higher studies so on 16th of July 2022 it was my last day at the gym and like 15-20 days before this I promised my self and believed that before leaving the gym i will deadlift more than 150 kgs..I literally visualised my last day at the gym that I am deadlifting 160 kgs....and when finally the day came I did it...I lifted 160 kgs.....and it felt so Gooddddd.

The thing with the parents example is so true.. i remember being at a friend house and the family was really struggling financially at that time (no disrespect to them i don't value people based on wealth), and so one thing stuck in my mind.. his mom used to always hype him and his brother, even though the weren't you know so smart or handsome whatever but she always pushed that narative even in front of us.. to me it was a little weird since my parents are more often than not negative and always demanding more like never satisfied with my progress even though i'm MSc in my field. Long story short they are both married now, have kids and doing good financially much-much better than their parents at least. So yes, what you feed your mind does matter 100%!

I’m 18 years old, have bigger arm than pretty much all of my friends and live the “healthiest” live style of them all. Yet I got tested… 350ng… my arms are 17.5 inches without a pump (back than with higher bodyfat, now 17 inches). I’m now loosing weight and trying everything to get that number to at least 550ng. I really needed this video for motivation, especially since TRT is always in the back of your mind and a friend of mine even started using it to fix his testosterone. I hope I can do it fully naturally!
