Hi Motobeto82, Digging up an old post, but this seems a nice honest review. Maybe you remember, how many milles you got out of them, and would you buy them again?
I actually still have them on. I haven't been riding my bike as much the last year and a half or so. But yeah I would buy them again and probably will soon. Currently I have about 7000 mile on them. I've been riding it mostly like a commuter bike, so I haven't been hard on them. They are lasting more than I expected, but that could be due to how I've been riding. They grab the road on corners nicely and haven't ever had any traction issues. I've ridden in the rain and didn't have any issues or felt unstable. Over all I would definitely recommend these tires. Of course that probably depends on what you need them for, if you are going to be doing track days and riding hard.....there are probably better options for performance style riding.
Nice vid man, how far have you gone on them now? I have just fitted a pair to mine but not taken the bike out yet, had Bridgestone Battlax bt021 front and rear before which wernt a bad tire miles wise hopefully i will feel the difference with the St 😀
Thanks, I've gone around 1500 so far. Not enough to tell if they are going to wear fast. So far they look new other than the halo design no longer visible. I like them so far. They feel good. I've ridden them in the rain also and they handle very well. I didn't feel unstable. I think you're going to like them. Hopefully they last past 7k or so.
My bike came with these from the previous owner with an old set of these, to old really. The front was a 2010 tyre and low on tread, rear was a 2013 but with lots of tread left, but that's still an old tyre witch is not great. Despite this I rode the bike for the past year and four months, been on some long group rides and rode in some very wet weather, amazingly I still had no issues. I just had a new set fitted today and am really looking forward to the first ride I take them on tomorrow and see how different they will feel, these I feel are a great tyre at a great price. I am quite surprised they are still made being a 10+ year old design and there being the GT's and GT 2's on the market. They made/broke about 7 world records under some endurance and performance tests over a 24 hour period back in '08 or '09.
I have and I haven’t had any issues. Keep in mind that this isn’t a performance tire though. It’s more of a touring tire. If you’re going to ride hard 24/7 you’re probably better off going with the Diablo.
@@MotoBeto82 i ride hard about once a week or so plus i am out of NY it gets cold here i put the bike away for the winter. Diablo is what i got on they wear off quick plus pricey too i ordered these ST lets see how they stands

@@MotoBeto82 Thanks for the informative answer. Be safe.
Nice review bro
Have u changed theses tires yet?
How wany miles u have in them now?
Someone said they last 9 to ten thousand. What's your experience?
just to be safe i’d change them around 7-8k but they’re touring tires so they tend to last longer
these or Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S21 ?

My pirelli angel gt got only 5210 kilometers
Really? That's kind of a bummer. Do you ride pretty hard? Hopefully, the ST's go longer.
@@MotoBeto82 yes I ride hard always though but I already sold my versys with together with the new ST tires

Yo so the question is can i lean hard on them tires where i live we got way too many twists so we like to get it down.

Yeah I know what you mean. The Diablos are nice but they don’t last long. I’ve gone like 153/154 mph on them.
did you figure it out? i am looking at Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S21 but the price point makes these more enticing.
