I'm a new mom, my baby is 7 months. I agree with everything that you said. I love being a mom, it's the best feeling in the world but it can be stressful at times. Self care days are a must, you have to take care of yourself, so you can take care of your baby.

Something that truly helped me is being active. Having a reason or purpose to get dressed each day. For me, it was as simple as taking my toddler to Montessori school and swimming classes each day. The consistency and purpose allowed me to stay productive which made me feel good about myself.

Man this was helpful more now then when I was pregnant … because honestly I felt and still feeling so terrible that I couldn’t juggle Breastfeeding and pumping and I did have a low supply and I wasn’t staying on a consistent schedule for pumping , I chose sleep and being lazy ….I was sleeping when she slept and woke up when she did and that’s how I was functioning for the first month . And My baby girl is almost 3 months and I am understanding that postpartum is real and I do stay inside a lot but I have been trying to get my outside time , walks in and God priorities straight…. I can sadly but truthfully say I feel I sleep so much because my body is finding it’s own way of staying away from depression ( I know Over sleeping is a sign of depression) but for me right now I have peace when I sleep . And ugh I do worry about my body and how it looks different and adjusting to my new body and man the whole people helping is tough for me , I just don’t trust people and I’m very cautious. I’m going to be honest I feel no one but you really touch on the fact that yes you could be married or in a relationship but the whole ‘The woman does all the mommy duties and housekeeping narrative’ is getting out of hand to the point where we still do it alone with the men there most of the time , I feel that needs to change .. but thank you for this video please keep posting more videos and vlogs if you can, much love 💕Queen

I’m 31 weeks and this spoke to me. I’m in such a weird panic mode right now. But I’m glad I stumbled on this! Thank you! Your hair looks great btw

I’m currently 31 weeks, this is very helpful to hear because I’m a first time mom and nerves are already kicking in about the postpartum process.

Love the hair. I’m five months postpartum and still breastfeeding I decided to stop stressing about my supply. I’ll supplement where its needed and it has done wonders for me . Thank you for the reminder

Love your new hair! These are awesome tips. I am 4 1/2 months postpartum. Definitely struggled for the first 6 weeks especially considering I had scary postpartum preeclampsia which made me very sick for a long time. Another good tip is to find a functional medicine practitioner to help with hormone balance if you can. I started to see one and she is helping me with my thyroid among other things which has helped me tremendously with energy and depression. Seeing a recent video of yours a few weeks ago (it was a morning routine) and it was so encouraging to me in the midst of my depression and struggling to acclimate to being a mom. I am doing much better now. Thank you ❤️

That is a GREAT tip! I never knew you could take medication to balance your hormones after having a baby! And I’m so happy you’re doing better.🙌🏽❤️❤️❤️

It takes everything out of me to let someone apart from my husband hold the baby. It feels like a ball stuck in my throat.
