Helpful suggestion: Maybe look into getting a new mic setup? Patrick's sound is really faint (has happened before in the past). Shannon's is fine but Patrick sounds like hes in the other room.
I bought a replacement battery for my old Samsung phone from Anker a while ago. Worked perfectly. Because of the good experience I also bought an Anker USB Charger for multiple devices. Never had an issue with it. Anker is great as far as I'm concerned.
I have the harmony Hub I use it with a tablet and really like it. I do wish it were more adjustable, though; it seems to be sending power "toggle" commands rather than "power on" and "power off" commands.
Next step to The Singularity, when Patrick Norton's eclectic pile of Home Theater / Automation equipment is all automatically detected, configured and becomes completely accessible without intervention.
@@Tekthing About 5-6 hours, I did a binge build and managed to get it done in one day. Using Adam Savage's knolling technique really helped find the parts from each bag.
I've wanted a Harmony remote with a mic for forever. unfortunately this isn't it. I just want it to pass the voice command to the device i have selected, for example my Shields google assistant. I still want buttons for my common tasks, change activity, launch apps etc.
So sad to hear about the Arsenal hardware and app. I had a similar experience with one of the Alpine Labs devices until they finally updated their stuff. These startups are pushing stuff out too fast without QA. Would be cool, but most of tech in our cameras will do this once in Lightroom or Photoshop. I stack hand-held photos often of city streets to make them more panoramic.
That remote is $250 BUCKS?!! Holy Cow! What'd that cost them to make $4?? That'll get knocked off and sell for $29.99 in no time! Damn, that's friggin' highway robbery! :(

Agreed, love the show but the audio is always off, it sounds louder on the right ear. Solved it temporarily by setting my audio on Windows to mono
Was just about to make the same comment. Patrick, your audio isn't great. Thanks for everything else though!
I greatly appreciate you spelling out a l e x a so I don't have to scream Alexa stop

Shannon is the physical embodiment of the Sugur adict squirrel on Over the Hedge. I love it.
I appreciate your attempts to review the Arsenal. I want to try it one day. On paper it looks/sounds great
Isn't that the dude from the Screensavers? I used to watch that regularly on TechTV back in the day.
Yup, both Patrick and Leo have continued to host tech related shows/podcast post TechTV.
Thank you for spelling it out. The last video I watched kept saying her name.
I really wish there was a Harmony Express esque device with Google Assistant support/integration

Still waiting for Logitech to release a remote/hub with an Ethernet connection. WiFi lag sucks with the Harmony Hub
Great show as always ✌️

FYI: the Saturn in the background is the LEGO® NASA Apollo Saturn V Item # 21309
1) Thanks for that info!
2) How long did that take to build???

7:28 that is exactly how I ask my virtual assistant to do stuff... even when asking for the weather!
Whats up with The insane red colors?
Can't wait for Paypal to intergrate Google's Security Key feature in 55 years.
