I agree! I just relocated mine today to cover a flower bed instead of the lawn and was able to setup another zone and disable the lawn one in the mean time. So cool!!!

Would it be possible to attach a hose from a rain barrel on the oto or would it need the strong pressure from the actual tap?
You need at least 50psi
How long does it take to water your lawn? We only have two days we can water where I live and I can't imagine this could cover 13k sq feet with the time needed.
1 unit is designed to handle just under 3k sq ft so you won’t be able to do that much
To save some upfront cost, could ya purchase just one and move it to different physical locations daily to hit an entire yard front and back? Then buy additional units later for those other locations.
Technically, yes. But you would have to make hooking up the hose easy and setup multiple zones that are timed far enough apart that it doesn’t shoot ya with water while you move it! Haha
@@TheLawnMentor haha. Ya unhooking and hooking up would be a pain, but for a summer or two still cheaper and easier than underground install or regular old watering the lawn.
I’m sure you could put a quick connect fitting on two hose locations and OtO and be good to go! Let me know if you do this and how it works out!

It could be a really simple but feature rich option for lots of people who want maximum control with little effort
How many square feet does it cover?
1 OtO unit can cover 2,800 sq ft. You can also buy multiple units and they can work in tandem all configured through the OtO lawn app!
Are you still using it and happy with it?
I am still using it and yes I like it! I feel like to get the best results you should still monitor what it does (I.e. when it chooses to skip water/fert), but that’s no issue for a lawn care nut like me!
These things are simply too expensive for what they do.
