I have been planning to to make something exactly like this for my wife who is a big book worm and Harry Potter fan. Thanks for sharing your video and sources.

Something else interesting you can do for selective area lighting is to 3D Print a Honeycomb Grid to place in front of the LED to limit the spread/bleed over of the light into other areas.

Sweet build - super cool tip on programming an arduino with chatgpt, I had no idea that was a thing.

To be fair you haven’t posted a lot of videos of you breaking things either. 😂

Hi Brandon! Ive been watching your videos on what laser engraver to purchase and was wondering if you could recommend me the right one for the products I’ll be producing. I have a clothing brand which offers soft goods, hats and military patches etc. I’ve been outsourcing leather patches but I want to start to purchase what it takes to cut the middle men out. Id really like to get an engraver that could work well with leather for patches and also have the capability to engrave on metal like gun magazines etc. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated and feel free to send me affiliate links- thanks!

Cool project. An Arduino Nano would be a functionally equivalent but much cheaper alternative to sticking an Uno on the back.

Yep, the uno I already had laying around

Nice build, a laser cut book nook is definitely on the list of future projects.
