Thank you for this video...yep, I was there! I'm now 75 and so enjoyed the memories. The part with Booker T was outstanding, and the ending song was beyond exciting. We were in the far back, and I doubt were shown on camera but you can see the smoke haze in some of the shots. Oh yeah, anyone there knows what I mean. Since that time I've been to lots of concerts both country and rock, CCR was one of the best. Total energy! Again, thanks for posting this for all to see. BTW I got to meet Tom many years later when he was a rancher in Oregon...we talked cows :)
Some bands are timeless, not many but credence are one of those timeless few. They would get a crowd going now and would do the same 50 years from now. Brilliant
My favorite band and have been for 51 years and I always love listening to them as much as ever. The new songs of John are all also the hammer. 2 bars, and you recognize CCR immediately, some bands you confuse or can no longer hear them, but CCR is never out. Long may they live, and I say thank you.❣😊
I can’t believe there aren’t more comments yet. That was a very entertaining video. What was even better was being there in person. I will never forget that night. It was electrifying like no other concert period!
What a lucky soul you are. Amazing to just see your comment, from a person who was there. I could listen to your whole story of that concert, day of and night, and be completely entertained by that recollection as well im sure. Cheers to you
I was at the Oakland Arena on January 31, 1970 too: it was my first concert! This concert was my birthday gift (my dad and uncle "chaperoned" me), and I would turn 14 shortly after this concert! Wilbert Harrison opened the show and Booker T. and the MGs followed --- what a night! I relive it around this time every year, especially since the LP/CD recordings emerged, plus now the RUclipss of this special and the Time Is Tight song clip from the show have also emerged. Wow! Any idea what the ticket price was?
Talán a hangulata miatt? Nem tudom. Bocsánatot kérek ha valakit megbántottam volna.
John Fogerty is one of the most talented musicians I've ever seen. He is so cool.

I have personally met john fogerty this years in Antwerp. It was unreal
They were a fantastic band. It was a terrible loss when they broke up.
But I still dig their music.
