Just to set the records straight: Down The Road I Go is "Ramble Tamble" (from the LP Cosmo's Factory) It is a 7 minute long song with a long solo part. So both DTRIG and the ...instrumental is the same long song. Please listen to it here in RUclips. It is song: MmjNIJ4YIFI (that is the part that comes after the = in the URL ;) )
Wow!!!!! That dude shreds like he's a 20 year old all over again!!!!! Bands today can learn something from these guys. These guys are pros and make it look easy.
CCR is my favorite band of all time. I don´t want John Fogerty to go away... never, as well for Stu Cook and Dough Clifford. Long life for these legends!!!
More than Madonna... More than Michael Jackson... More than Prince, Queen, even the King himself... More than the songs my own mother sang to me... More than pretty much anything, this music has been with me permanently for all my 40 years of life. The radio, LP's, cassette tapes, DAT tapes, CD's, DVD's, Spotify/RUclips... It will literally be with me till my dying day as my loved ones will be rocking out and dancing to CCR when they cremate me. The world is such a much much better place thanks to John Fogerty.
Increíble energía y hermosa voz grades recuerdos viene a mi corazón gracias John Dios te bendiga con larga vida y mucha salud nuestro grupo siempre te amara con todo nuestro corazón con mucho amor para ti y tu fam tqm❣️🤘💯
I heard his group (Creedence) while I was walking in Buenos Aires : I was 16 years old. The record store had speakers outside and I heard "Born in the Bayou", it just blew my mind, I just went inside of the record store and bought the LP!! Thank you Mr Fogerty, after I heard his music, I woke up ( That was music!).
Born On The Bayou still blow my mind after almost 45 years of listening. I also "happened" to hear a part of one of their songs from my aunts combined radio/taperecorder (C-cassette). Though I had heard some truly fine Beatles and Rolling Stones songs, this was the first one to blow me away. Once I found out who it was I baught the record and the note book. :)
one of the best song writers also. hard to believe he was sued because he sounded to much like C.C.R. He was the song writer, lead guitarist, and lead volcals. that would be quite a trick to stop sounding like yourself.
c'était mon 1er groupe de rock, dommage que les Creedence n'existent plus mais heureusement il nous reste John, fabuleux, magnifique et encore en forme!
There is nobody as passionate about his music as John is. His songs shaped my youth from the Woodstock era and still have relevance today. World will be a lonelier place without him. Keep on rocking John.
OMG what an impressive collection of songs performed by a 70 year old man! There will never be another like him so watch and learn kids; that's how its done.
So much talent! Like Pete Townsend, John had to invent so many things when he started out, to obtain the sound he wanted. Truly amazing man and at 71 even more amazing! On my bucket list.
First heard CCR in 1976 after they had broken up . I became a life long fan . I learned that John was the motivating and creative force of the band as time passed. Keep on keepin on John.
John Fogerty is my idol, my hero since I was 11 years old when my mother, who was a big CCR fan, played all their records and I was hooked immediately. I'm now 57 and he's still my no 1 and will always be. Thanks mom!
it's impossible for me, every time I hear John Fogerty, to stops my blood boiling as then in the late 60´s HE IS MAGICIAN..... HE IS ETERNAL SPRING OF YOUTH INSIDE OF ME.... thanks a lot, Mr. Fogerty... you are my best memory of those days!
He’s a National Treasure! Proud Mary is a song that sounds like it was written 200 years ago. It’s part of Americana! And sounds like it always was. And his songs are quintessential American. Country and R&B songs that tell a story or are about someone. And I like the whole catalog! Barefoot girls dancing in the moonlight! I can hear the Bullfrog calling me! Brilliant lyrics and songs!
CCR was the music of my youth, and the songs can still move me now as it did nearly fifty years ago. John Fogerty is a freaking genius and living legend.
A lot of fans do not know that John did all the work for Creedance ,he played every instrument from guitar to harmonica and wrote the songs. His bandmates screwed him with Fantacy records he was bitter and I am sure he still is.But he survived because of his talent. He is still going strong.God bless Mr Fogerty
His voice is what makes the band! People can usually copy the guitar part but the voice can not be duplicated so easily . So John keep playing brother ! !!!!
It's not the voice, it's that you haven't ever read the story of ccr , the awful truth is that there were not such a band but fogerty and friends , the mood genius anger and selfishness of fogerty disrupted armony and the band as such split the business
Amazing real legend! At the age 71 singing and playing guitar continuesly in an hour, what an energy to this legend! National teasure of America!!! Inspirational
I saw the photo for this video when I did the search, and my first thought was, "Man, he looks pretty rough." Boy, was I wrong. Seeing John for the first time with ZZ Top next weekend, and this is pumping me even more than I am already!
Yes, he is still very good. But sorry, I can't believe that you have today as much energy as him - running, jumping, playing ang singing for 2h but not sweating - at 71 - incredible :)

I was in college from 1968-71. And CCR was my favorite band along with the Moody's in the 1970s. Both had one hit after another that reached the Top 10!

His voice still sounds so great, but what totally blew me away is his abilities with guitar, my jaw dropped, when he did that nice solo during ''Instrumental''.
While other rock legends are washed up and burning out John Fogerty is still killing it and beloved. That's a testament to good songs and real talent. Thank you John!
I still have every CCR’s vinal album’s , John Fogerty and the Blue Ridge Rangers, Old Man Down the Road and a few others and this guy still sounds so good. Thank you for the show and the years of music John

John Fogerty is the greatest artist that has ever been! Been a fan for 45 years and will die one!
I've been a CCR Fan since the 60's 👍

There was nothing quite like the voice of JOHN FOGERTY on the radio with the song Born On the Bayou booming out was there David. Fantastic.
I remember - and how Johns voice could wail. Unique.

bloobsta: Not only a great singer but also an extraordinary song writer and entertainer.
