John fogerty in my mind is a legend. to be so young and wright so many iconic songs. and fall down like me but he was so much stronger and pulled himself back up. i love watching him enjoy what he does and now the whole family is inovolved. i wish i could pattern myself like him. But i have enjoyed his music and voice for many years. Depression has had me for so long and i have to say good bye'love everyone

Yup.....i see nothing they wanted to write n put on an album, they complained they could write. As for hard work john always did the writing, producing, singing, perfecting via practice.

System so I had my first friend I met asked for CCR Tom was a man real in front line combat in nam so I pulled out my John foergety live cd didn't smile a lot but he was I cranked it I had big nice peavey's and born on the buyiou was song two Mr John said wen he played Austin city Texas sho. And on drums the greatest roçk n roll drummer alive today an he said so loud his name and he's still in Mr johns f, s band this day wat was so good too I loved listening. To that man on drums and that CD was the best sounding live recording me and many musician pals all said tthhaatt and I don't know what it's titled every time I dj it 🌟 start s with CCR and John's live lp all Mr John has put out no bull I love not only this trueley stared at my age in California at nine years old 😂 and IAM in the sixties I mean not just age wise musically and I love that seventies sounds. Too but I was happy 😊 to play and sing my long-term days for all of theme people in the nursing home I loved ❤️ to see em smile and dance with walkers too one lady was in a chair wheel u no she didn't let. That stop her she loved to rock. Zeppelin's was her favorite so I'd bring my little fender amp and stick a mile in front and started playing along shish she knew her rock n roll big time clapping moving to ccrs down on corner. Born on bioyu man she'd have me playing guitar with it outside under the pole barn to Susie q every body who likes nun of boating activity s. Would come out for sum of ccrs johñfoes rock so that had me Monday thru Wednesday and Saturday morning and night Sunday night 😴💤 man 😎👍 it trueley made me happy to see a lot of people. Feel better I never asked for a dime but one day the owner watched me do a show he was 😂 smile y. And to my surprise he gave me a nice present and man did it Shure help me so John's music to me is a big form of endless happyness a instant antidepressant and brings feelings of days that lot's n lots of people who wish them days would come back just pop or something and listen to John forgetys timeless music and you can feel the magic power of his. From the heart happyness it brings still after all these years and he sounds like he did way back 😂 and that's amazing 😍 ☮️ peace and love to all and stay well masks hands distance too 😘💪💪😉😉😉

Greg Kindvall Tom Fogerty, Stu Cooke, and Doug Clifford played with John Fogerty since high school and they were a very tight band. Without them he never would have gotten his songs across in the manner he did.
You're making a blanket statement looking at it in retrospect.
Stu and Doug we're an excellent rhythm section, and Tom was an excellent rhythm guitarist.
They inducted CCR into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They didn't just induct John Fogerty. Doesn't that tell you something? It's because he wasn't the whole band.
John Fogerty was the main songwriter and singer, but it was still an excellent band with great chemistry.
It takes more than just a good songwriter to make a good band. It takes a strong effort on every member's part.
@@mtp4430 I have to agree with Greg on this one. There's LOTS of good guitarists, bassists, drummers, and keyboard players "out there," but what seems to make the difference in a successful band is (1) the ability to write popular songs and (2) a front man who can sing those songs that makes people "feel" the music. John could do both. His talent overshadowed his brother and other band mates by a country mile. A lot of people know who John Fogerty is, but who were those other guys in CCR?
The same can be said of a band like Grand Funk Railroad. Mark Farner was the driving force in that band. There would have been no GFR if there were no Mark Farner, plain and simple.

I remember watching this on tv as a teenager -- I was so excited to finally see/hear John Fogerty! I remember seeing the commercials on VH1 running for a month, leading up to it.

La mejor banda x lejos que tuvo Fogerty en su etapa solista junto con la del 86 que tenía a Neil Stubbenhauss en bajo John L. ROBINSON en batería y Alan Pasqua en teclados, Pero la contundencia que tenia esta banda era genial,y se notó xq cuando salió Aronoff de la banda y el resto de sus músicos la banda se cayó un 80%.Hoy no suena de esa manera ni su voz xq han pasado ya varios años desde éste concierto, ni la calidad de los músicos.
We were the fortunate ones to have John come and play for us twice at Lethbridge Alberta Canada both shows were concerts of a lifetime. It really warmed my heart to see how much fun John has playing his music with his sons making memories that will be with them forever. His band is incredible too absolutely awesome and nothing is missing. Had a front row middle seat for the concert last year just doesn’t get any better than that

I saw him in Mansfield, MA during the same tour. A DJ who knew how much I love CCR got me backstage! It was a dream come true. Treasure those pictures!

It's nice to finally get to see some of the stuff I missed because we didn't have MTV or VH1 back when this came out.
When I was 5 or 6, my mom listened to CCR all the time. When there was a new LP or 45 out we bought it. We had plant that would literally vibrate to them. It also grew like crazy.
My brother bought 2 of his solo albums. The 3 of us watched the premiere of Old Man Down the Road on MTV. I ended up buying 1 cd and a live cassette, of solo work.

The beer got to em so I is nice wen I see fotos of it I trrueley wanted this to be the summer of seeing my roots stomping grounds Kelly Slater I meat and I was in the wild twenty one year s old I lived Coco Beach Florida I taught him to play guitar is meat his dad at the pub lots of pubs his name was Steve we hit it off I went there and as a musician it was tuff making it motocross is past part of life and I see the Aussies are kicking butt of course.
