Will with the world record morning wood! 🤡
I’m going through a really awful time of my life and you and Aaron are a big part of my daily regimen to go on with my life and I appreciate you guys more than you know. Thank you as always and I wish you all the best Will, truly.
You got this! Hang in there. I’ll never top that trophy log
Life throws some terrible stuff at people sometimes. Hoping you stay strong and battle through. There is always a sunny day coming. Keep your eyes on the good stuff and focus on the blessings you do have. Hang in brother.

Thank you for that!🙂
Love you brother, we're all going through our own trials and tribulations. Keep your chin up.
LOL your comic relief about the top dog is to funny. TO your credit you have come a long way from NY!
I gotta joke about it but I am definitely getting better
Never would have dreamt that recipe up. Looks amazing. I dig the multi-function spear shot.
Haha two birds one spear
World’s Bestest Roommate!
Damn straight! Keepin em fed
No arguments there.
Old chef secret for quick scaling. Use a drill with a single hand mixer prong inserted. Scales fish perfectly in seconds without damaging the skin.
I ll try it
@@CookingWithClams you can also use a pressure washer. And blast the scales off with water. It helps remove the slime coat to
Congratulations on your biggest mangrove so far brother. You did that fish justice with how you cooked it. I'm sure it'd be proud lol
He was happy to come to dinner haha
😅😂 super secret. Thanks for another video!!!!!
Haha no one has ever been there
Congrats Will! Nice fish and beautifully prepared dish too. Stunning scenery, enjoyed the episode very much. Thanks again.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Your positive mindset is astounding. Thanks for the great content my guy, keep it going.
Hard not to be positive on days like these
Great video Will! Man, that log sure got smoked. Lol. But that last mangrove was a beast and you made it look absolutely delicious.
Thanks for sharing!!!
You got that right!
You deserve more followers, your culinary ideas are more creative than most fishing channels
I appreciate that! Getting up there. 24k is more than I ever imagined
that spearfish footage was wild. like watching a video game.
It’s like living one in person
Will! That mangrove is massive. Nice fish.
Bro, 😂
Haha
That fish gets me so stoked for my trip home in August ! I’ve got my gear ready and hopefully I’ll have a boat by then. All these fantastic ideas for cooking my fish.
There we go!!
So you’re taking the waterman to your secret spot awesome video Brother
Yeah he needed a gimmie
Ahhhh! Congratulations on your PB! And do I need to say anything about the recipe? Have mercy Will, ya tempting my tastebuds again! LoL, thank you...I've been laid up and your video hit at just the right time! Totally appreciate you, Aaron and Madeleine (geez, I hope I didn't butcher her name again!) Always fun, always interesting, always mouth watering recipes. Love it! Have an amazing week, glad to see the rains have abated? Some?
Rain cleared out thankfully
And thank you!! You got madeleines name perfect too
This video was so fun that I’ve watched it three times. Good content sir.
Wow, thanks!
A lot too celebrate Will, and another good vid in the books.
A feel good moment all around
WOW. Amazing creation Will. That looks so good. Keep filming we'll keep watching, and drooling 😋🤤
Thank you!!
You got yourself a stick fish there William 😂😂
Catch of the day
Clams you rock with your recipes. I don't cook much but I do grill fish quite often. I've found that by using real wood charcoal instead of briquettes the smokey flavor from the wood adds a very nice taste to the fish. Give it a try some time.
I had some hickory in there actually!
Congrats on the PB always enjoy your videos and recipe's keep it up!
I couldn’t have been happier
That Snapper looked AMAZING!
It really was like street corn!
Man you’re a pro now at spearfishing!
Only semi pro, haha
Nice Mangrove! You're giving Aaron a run for his money. That took some skill to shoot and gut it at the same time! Awesome dish. Giving me some ideas to try.
The old shoot n gut hahs
thanks for the hat and stickers
Glad you got em!!
I would definitely warm up a few corn tortillas.🤙 nice fish!
We actually did the next day and made tacos
Ya know I love watching your content & seeing all of your amazing dishes. We need to chat about tomatillos, lol, and the way you said that and catching stump thumpers lol.
😂
Yes talk to me about tomatillos! This was the first time I boiled them, usually char them
@@CookingWithClams Boiling & charring are both good ways to soften them. Just depends on the flavor you're going for. Now, they are called toe-ma-tiyos. 😉
Way to go Will! Beautiful fish and lovely recipe! Thanks for sharing!❤
Thanks for watching
TNX 4 VID LOL
Congratulations on the PB, it was a good one. The meal you made looks awesome!
I only wish I got the shot on camera
Looks great Chef!
I love fish cooked in banana leaves, really makes it moist.
So good, it’s really the only way I like doing it because the meat comes out so perfectly
If only you had the foresight to keep the log you shot and use it as firewood to cook that mangrove😂 Of course I'm kidding around. Always nice to see someone achieve a milestone like a PB. Well earned fish and meal👍
I do wish I got the shot on camera
Congrats! Nice PB snapper and nice cook! Keep it up. Always enjoy your channel.
Thank you!
That looked delicious as usual, Will!
Thanks so much!
Such a creative recipe !!! Thanks for this posting
Thank you!
Great video. A relative just moved back the Stock Island. Can’t wait to visit & experience some of the things y’all do
Please do!
Wow great shoot!👏
Thanks a lot!
Hey will !! I hope all is well and I just love your videos I have to eat before I watch them though because your belly will be growling lol your food always looks delicious ❤😃😃
This is an excellent compliment! Thank you
Oh man Will, oh yea I’d dive into that one . Amazing
I’d eat it 3 times a week haha
@@CookingWithClams me too
Yum! Well done Will!
Thank you!!
Nice mangrove, it had the honor of being cooked by you!
And clutch move with the foil, would be a nightmare to flip and keep the corn
Would have been a disaster
And that meal looks amazing 😋
It’s in my top ten for sure
“I might pass out.” 😂
I’m working in the yard in GA in a sundress and I might pass out. I can’t even imagine.
Rookie mistake
Nice job on the spear Will
Thank you!
Sorry been out town for a while. Been following though. You been great Will.
No apologies needed!!
Awesome! Thx, Andrew
My pleasure!
Good one. I make salsa verde a lot. It was great to see a recipe from a marinade base. I like to steam my tomatillos I won’t boil them anymore I feel like it loses flavor. I will def be using my cilantro stalks now I never knew that was a thing!
Tons of flavor in those stems!
Nice chef, a fish enpapillote Key West style , next time some tostones on the side :-)
Love it
Your skill and determination in spearfishing are truly admirable. Thanks for sharing such an exciting adventure-it's inspiring to see your passion for fishing and the great outdoors!
Thank you!!!
another great video , that was a redeem shot right there , keep up the adventures
I couldn’t believe it
Beautiful and mouth watering delicious looking!!
It was!
Congratulations!
Thank you!
Just a little food for thought!
When you brain the fish check where your other hand is and think how easily that knife goes into the fish skull
Hmmmm
Awesome video! Thanks!
Glad you liked it!
Will, when you make your recipes would you please tell us why you use such things as tomatios (flavor, texture?), Serrano peppers?, heat, flavor?
Yes absolutely, A Serrano is hotter and more consistent than a jalapeno, and has a bit more earthy taste. Tomatillo has an acidic burst like lime that won’t cook off like lime juice
that was a really good catch and cook. congrats on the PB snapper... no luck today around Branford Point Long Island Sound. i wanted to do a CCC as well.. maybe next time....
I’ll be on Long Island tonight
@@CookingWithClams no kidding really? new york side, right? I was kayaking by Branford Point.... Enjoy the beautiful weather
Nice info. You have inspired me to start cooking. Keep the recipes coming.
Awesome! Thank you!
Great video Will redemptions
Hope so!
Yummy!
So good!
Looks delish 🤙
Thank you
Dope
Your secret mangrove spot?? As soon as U went under water I saw mangrove roots an I knew exactly where U were!! An I live in Australia 😂😂
Haha just make a left at the water
Nice dish!
Thanks for liking
On a positive note, you stoned the log!
Great holding shot as well
🥰
Surely you jest! Uh I think Aaron is the fish killer and you are fish chef! I don’t think he heard that rap! Great dish!
Aaron edits his videos to look that way but I actually taught him how to fish and spear
And if you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you
You funny!!!
Watch out Aaron! Will is hot on your spearfishing tail!
Hahaha I wouldn’t go that far
Nice
Thank you
Yew
You should have put some log in the banana leaf too 😂
I would have, but I sent it to Greys taxidermy to get it mounted
@@CookingWithClams lol
You should have a food truck atleast part of the year near Malory square or somewhere.
I think he’s pretty much done with the industry.
Maybe one day when I retire from the restaurant
Clams you gotta get you a good set of skins and loose that wetsuit. Holy hell your in key west!😂
It’s just a topper not even a 1mm
Wow 😊, can you make that for Cheri and I Sir?
Yes I can
I enjoy watching your close relationship with Aaron. You may not be as welcome when they start making babies.
I hope they do.
I’ll be the nanny
What camera are you using ? The quality is awesome.
Dji osmo action 3
I've never heard of Mexican street corn, but I know I want it now. Can't get banana leaves, can you suggest an alternative?
To just steam a fish, parchment paper. But to get a similar effect and flavor I think either grape or fig leaves but you’d need a lot
@@CookingWithClams Thanks, I'll try grape leaves.
🕶️😎✌️👍
Clams Why are you wearing a wetsuit ??? It’s Key West in June … Pretty sure you swam at Jones Beach in June without one ! Awesome video.
Just a topper, it’s mostly cause there is stingy stuff in the mangroves that’ll mess you up
I forgot to mention I LOVE that you used avocado as a kind of mayo substitute. My eyes roll everytime I see people use mayo, I just do t think that is proper cooking… not trying to get all pretentious I just don’t think mayo is a legit cooking ingredient
It has its place, and nothing beats homemade but yes it’s like a cheat code, so many other ways to add fat
Some might say it was a bit cheesy and had a corny ending however nice m. snap. Get a bullet proof vest
I was so excited but had to wrap it up
@@CookingWithClams LOL I will leaf it here
The bullet proof vest is for when u lift the banana leaves - however its not Texas there!
First😂
If your hands aren’t covered in food while you’re cooking you’re doing it wrong.
Haha right?
