Spearfishing around Mangrove Islands

Looking for Snapper in the mangroves. First time spearfishing with my new Koah.

This is great, because this is close to my stomping grounds. Im in bonita springs right now. Im wanting to get into spearfishing. I have a lot to learn, vut at least I know inshore while alone is doable in the area.

Hey brother, big fan of your channel! I'm on the myakka river near 41/River Road. I just got my first boat and wife and I have started exploring around El Jobean.
I would like to try my hand at spearfishing too. How far down towards the ocean do i need to get until the clarity gets as good as it is in your video?

Hey thanks for watching I think you’ve been here since I started. You have to get in the intercoastal waterway to get good visibility. Once the rains start even that area gets hard to see. There’s a lot of good snook fishing in the myakka in the cooler months. I plan on doing some next winter. Thanks again.
