  • 27th May 2016. The highlight of this Scottish Highlands one week break happened on this day - watching bottlenose dolphins live in the sea! It was such an amazing experience and special moment to watch the Dolphins swimming into the bay, so near to us! We had very good advise from a wild life photographer on the timing to see them. We set out at 8am and arrived at Chanonry Point at 9am just before the tides came in. This was the time that Dolphins came into the bay to catch fish. There was a mother dolphin with her baby by her side. It was incredible to see them! Before you plan to go to see the Dolphins go onto Internet to check the time of tides. It's very important to check otherwise you will miss the chance to see the Dolphins. Good luck!

Do they come to feed everyday here , and are they here all year round. I gather they come at low Tide.
