@@RobertEFuller either as an artist or an ecologist or conservationist, Robert, you're an inspiration. Greetings from across the pond mate, and I hope you and the birds have a great autumn season!
I noticed that in one scene the kingfisher had a band on its right leg. They are keeping close count on these little guys. I know this took a lot of time and patience to get this on film. Thank you so much for giving us a wonderful foray into their world.
Thank you SO much for creating this insight into the kingfisher’s lives. I used to live in Pocklington, UK, and I was lucky enough to watch kingfishers feeding, almost daily, in the small river that ran underneath my flat. It was magical to see that flash of blue and to see them returning time and again to their favourite ‘lookout’. 🌹
I finally got a chance to look into the world of a bird I have admired for so long. They follow me in the trees as I am going about 30 mph up a major creek on the Arkansas River. I'm 81 and don't go as often but love getting to know more about these beautiful creatures. Thank you so much, Mr. Fuller.
If you live near a body of water, make a shallow pond and stock it with small bait fish for them. Avoid goldfish, they have a compound which too much of will hurt the predators . But guppies or mollies can readily breed a lot in an aquarium and can be added to stock it in warmer weather.
Spectacular from start to finish! I remain days later, so inspired by the ingenious mock river bank, stunning photography of the birds & the colourful wildlife painting! A masterpiece!
I just love it. Stops me feeling homesick. I remember sing my first kingfisher in Winchester as a kid. I was excited for days and amazed how small and fast it was. That was a privileged as is watching your amazing footage. Thanks heaps! x
What great timing...I just spent 2 hours working on a kingfisher in colored pencil and this video came up! Your footage of these gorgeous birds is stunning ! Watching them in their own habitat and being able to see the young grow is such a treat. I love your artwork and want to say a big Thank you for sharing it ! 💗🦉🐤🦅💗

Wow this whole video is incredible. I've never seen a Kingfisher. You went at great lengths for these beautiful birds. A really nice sanctuary you built for them. And a Nice painting at the end of the kingfisher you did a really good job.
Vibrant little birds!! Thank you for sharing this video Robert. This was an AMAZING video. Your hard work and genius at cinematography and technology is outstanding.
Fabulous work on all counts, so amazing to see the tiny kingfishers in the nest, I've only ever seen them in the wild just whizzing past as a flash of blue! Beautiful painting in the end to boot!
Amazing film, such patience you have Robert, well done, you were rewarded with a beautiful family of Kingfishers, thank you so much for sharing this incredible footage and your painting captures this stunning bird so perfectly, you’re very talented xx
Its kinda cool how we can make these nests for the birds. Its like a trade off, we make the nests for them to live in it, and we learn how they raise their babies, and just how they live day to day. Its really amazing to see this side of birds.
All your works are indeed inspiring to capture a lively painting of a kingfisher; and hopefully kids will have the chance to see a wonderful nature like this.
This guy is cool 😎.. his love for nature is amazing.. but the scenes regarding how the wildlife reacts around their tiny space is incredible.. Amazing footage.. crisp and detailed..
I love this video of your most wonderful kingfishers, quite amazing, thank you very much Robert for your commitment, patience, passion, love for wildlife. I have had the great pleasure to watch kingfishers locally in York, for years and many happy hours watching them. Wonderful memories of them but to watch them in the nest is so special. Thank you once again. Christine
I couldn't help noticing how they seemed to shudder after they ate the squirmy minnows, as if it tickled their stomach. Such beautiful birds and your painting and ingenuity in building the home for them was fantastic!
At first I thought that's a great video which could only be better with educational comment, after watching it for 10 minutes I realized it's also really nice without endless talking and just the sounds of nature. Thank you for your work

Amazing. I see this bird in Vietnam but I have never seen the details like on this valuable video. Thank you sooo sooo much. Your paiting is brilliant.
It is amazing to see the size of those seven eggs in relation to the mom, the quantity of protein she needed to intake. If she had laid only one every two days, it is still staggering!
Also, I didn’t see video of the first successful feeding. The first time she tried to feed them, the fish was too big. I’m guessing she hacked it up with her beak and fed the chicks with broken up bits of fish? I thought that birds ate it themselves and then regurgitated it into the chicks’ mouths.
