Scottish Highlands (Part 7) Day Seven - The Kelpies, Falkirk

28th May 2016. Today we finished the week in Scottish Highlands. On our way home we visited House Of Bruar in Blair Atholl and The Kelpies. It sits like a castle at the foot of the spectacular Bruar Falls, and is widely acknowledged as Scotland's most prestigious independent store. It's food hall provides varieties of fine quality foods of Scotland and stopped for lunch. The magnificent Kelpies were designed by Andy Scott Sculptures. They are 30 meters high and constructed with stainless steel clapping welded together by hand. They are incredibly structural sculptures. To find more you can visit www.thehelix.co...
We had a great week in Scotland. KINCRAIG is in the central highlands. When we got back home the first thing attracted my eyes were the arum lilies near the front door welcoming us to come home. The plants in my garden have grown a lot within the week and nearly every plant was blooming. It's nice to be home. However the memory of Scotland remains.
