I love nature. My heart and soul grow unimaginably bigger when I am connected with nature. Since I joined a local walking group I have been walking nearly every Sunday and sometimes the mid week rambling. We always finish our walk with a drink at local English pub. I am very lucky that I live in Cheshire, near to Peak district, Lake District. We are surrounded with fabulous rolling hills, green valleys, rivers and canals. These areas are one of the most beautiful parts of northern England. I take lots photographs and videos when I go for the walk and record the routes. My videos may not as grand or glamours as Julia Bradbury's Walk With the Views but I enjoy making videos to record our glorious British countryside and activities I take part in. I will continuously upload videos to share my passion for the beautiful nature of Great Britain. So Please subscribe to my channel for new videos/walks updates. Burns Weekend 2024
This was another year celebrating the Scottish Poet Robert Burns. We went to Swadlincote this time between 26-28 January 2024 staying in hostel with our walking group. We had a 10 miles walk on Saturday 27th and in the evening we had three course meal and entertainment in between the meals.
I took this opportunity to sing one of my favourite Chineae song "天之大” The Sky Is Vast - it's about Mother's love. After the singing a few friends came over and said to me that the song was very moving, and they were in tears. Music is so powerful.
I then presented Robert Burns 'My Love Is Like A Red Red Rose'.
We had a great weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it! I'm looking forward to the next one in 202...

Ilam park is a fantastic place to visit especially when the wild garlic is at its best down along the riverbank , the smell of the garlic is amazing 👍

I definitely believe in Genetic Memory. For years, anytime I'd see photos of places like this, I'd get all teary eyed and miss it as I'd been there before...as if it were my home. One year, we moved to Lancaster, Pa...and I can't explain it but I felt as if I were "home" so to speak. Even though it's not in England, certain parts of PA resemble that of Yorkshire. Then, upon doing my geneology, I found my Great Great Grandparents had been born there, married there, and had children there...very very interesting...
